Stephenie Haney-Montes is passionate about helping women move on from their past. Having been a victim of abuse at one time, she understands the emotional trauma that comes with it. Her mantra is, "You can move out of the dysfunction physically, but mentally still be living there." In other words, if you don't deal with the hurt, pain, and anger, and all that comes with your past, then it will take over your life and affect your relationships, your mind, and your God-purpose in life.But Stephenie never gave up! In 2010, Jesus began dealing with her about starting a movement that would be a SAFE PLACE for women in which to run. Being a minister's kid, she was a bit jaded with religion and ministry, so she shut God down, and refused to surrender to the call. However, she quickly realized that you don't tell God "no", because He will find ways to make you say "yes" to His call. Unveiled Ministries has been active for almost 6 years now, helping literally thousands of women from all walks of life, who need inward healing, peace, deliverance and a supernatural experience. There are some things that only God can do, and Unveiled leans completely on Jesus Christ, to guide and help so many broken and wounded women in this world.Stephenie is married to Asbel Montes, and has two fur babies. Their Toy Pomeranian is named Belladonna, and their Miniature Australian Shepherd is named, Patches. Stephenie is an author, speaker, and is involved with helping various charities who help those in need.

While writing this book, I was reminded of my parents’ influence on my life; both of them taught my siblings and me by example how to never give up. I will forever be grateful for parents who were not afraid to face their giants but stood up to the tactics of the enemies trying to defeat them.

My dad often said, When all hell comes against you, keep going. I will never forget that when he was faced with a problem, a betrayal, or a painful event that tried to discourage him, he still never gave up, but he would keep on going.

I watched them both continue to step into big and small arenas to fulfill the calling on their lives, even if it meant they must deal with challenges and difficulties along the way. They taught me that when the attacks come and everything seems to be unraveling around you, you must not give up but must keep on because God is for you!

I have purposed in my heart that I will continue to press on like both of my parents taught me and will push through the struggles in life. Even when it feels like all hell is coming against me, I will keep going just as they did and will never give up.

I encourage you also never to give up but to keep on, to walk by faith and not by sight.

This motivational book is designed for Christian women on the go, who have busy schedules and are in a season when they are unable to dedicate a lot of time to reading. Each inspirational golden nugget was created so that you can read it during your break at work, at home, during travel, or just for the quick pick-me-up and encouraging word you need to help get you through the day.

We must be intentional about building our spiritual muscles to be prepared for whatever comes next in our life.

When we find ourselves in a crisis, dealing with disappointment and sorrow, we must never give up but instead we must continue moving forward. When we feel like we cannot go on due to the circumstance that has crushed our hearts, we must never forget that God will give us the strength to endure the twists and turns in our lives.

How you lived out your character through your life often speaks to me and inspires me to want to live a life of integrity. Mom - You’ve been gone only a little over four months, and my path has been a bit rough without you. I cry a lot and miss talking to you. You left quickly, like a bolt of lightning, kind of how you lived. I was going to shelve this book and stop writing altogether because you were my writing mentor, and we had talked about your writing the foreword for this one. But I realized as I pulled it out again and began to read it, this book makes me feel closer to you, so I will continue to write. Thank you for teaching me how to pray, for that is keeping me strong through the grief of losing you. Thank you for teaching me how to forge ahead through the predicaments where there seems to be no end in sight. You lived out Mark 11:23, For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says (NKJV). You truly were a woman of great faith, and I will forever be grateful for all that you taught me.

Thank you for being by my side as I have been walking through this grief that has hit me so unbelievably hard. I am grateful for all you do for me and for us. This has been such a difficult and painful year for us, but together and with God we will rise and get through this. Resist The Urge to Quit

You may see me struggle, but you will never see me quit.

At times I have wanted to quit some projects and have had conversations with God similar to this, Jesus, it feels like everything is falling apart, and I’m worn out. I’m tired of the battle I’ve been in; I don’t have anything left to give. But usually after I vent my frustrations and cry out to God, I begin to feel the inner strength that can come only from Him. He steps in to remind me that I can do it and that I do have what it takes. I then begin to tell myself: You’re not quitting! You just need to take a breather for a moment. You’re going to get through this.
