Barbara Alford and Frances Milazzo grew up together in Brooklyn, NY. Barbara's career took her to Alabama and Georgia focused on writing, while Fran's professional pathway in South Huntington, New York, was all about art. Alford and Milazzo were inspired by their granddaughters to create their first book, Just Kate, released in 2022.
