MAKING A splash

Slumped over my computer, I stifled a bored yawn. Another uneventful day was ticking past at my marketing job, they all blurred into one.
It was always a relief when my lunch hour rolled round and I could browse social media during my break.
As I was scrolling, a YouTube video suddenly popped up that I’d never seen before. It was of a woman wearing a mermaid’s tail, swimming effortlessly through crystal clear waters.
A real-life mermaid!
I gasped out loud. She was so graceful and elegant, I’d never seen anything like it.
