    About the Author

To my husband of forty-two years, who had to put up with me during nursing school, my career, on call, gone on weekends and nights, telling him all about the gross things I had to do some days during dinner.

My son and daughter, who spent time without their mother for many years. You have both made me so proud, and I love you so much.

My precious grandchildren, whom I hope to spend more time with and have lots of fun.

My late mother-in-law, who, without you, I would not have had the courage to finish nursing school. So thankful for all the meals you cooked and the help with raising our children. You were always there for me, and I love you.

My current husband, who has dealt with my retirement, anxiety, depression, chronic complaints, feeling I had no purpose in my life. I love you and look forward to the rest of our life together. I pray that we can both retire and spend time together. We never know how much time we have.

To my church family, who prayed for us and helped us beyond measure. Our pastor says a prayer over the congregation after each service that we will find favor with God and with man. I certainly have found favor with both!

Praise and glory goes to God for hearing my prayers and to the Holy Spirit who has helped me write this book and takes care of me every day! You are my Father. I love You with all my heart and soul. I am sure we will meet someday soon!

He has kept me from making some bad ones! You will always have the freedom to choose, but it goes a lot smoother if He is involved. If you have not, maybe it's because you asked not or didn't pray about it at all. If you seek Him, you will find Him. I am sure of this!

What God the Father will do for one, He will also do for another. You are His child. What would you do for your children? Most parents would try to do as much as
