About this ebook

Embraced in His Glory is a continuation of what I now refer to as An Absolutely Beautiful Series (my life in Christ). This series first began at His Steady Eye and continues into Constant and Eternal (the Father's love), my upcoming book. This is not where my series ends. Oh no, the Father isn't done with me.

    Prayer

Glorious Father, as before I pray, you pour a heavy anointing over this book from front to back, Father, that your glory is bursting off the pages. I pray this book blesses the lost and draws them to the blood of Jesus Christ. If they are not drawn to healing, deliverance, and salvation through this book, then I pray that it plants a seed deep within their souls. I pray this book opens the eyes of those that believe they have a relationship with You so that they will then search their hearts and let Your Son in. I pray this book is a blessing to Your redeemed in deepening their relationship with You or in just receiving a blessing in watching You move as it does me. Father, I pray You receive all the glory You fully deserve through this book as well. I love, adore, worship, and honor You. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.

    Introduction

This book is a continuation of His Steady Eye. My story begins with my life from childhood to the point I was transformed through the blood of Jesus Christ. My story then continues with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and is documented by journal. Be prepared because topics vary per day. Through this walk in Christ I share a brief summary of my testimony by pamphlet. I offer them from stores to parks to fast food drive-thrus, doctor offices, hospitals, where the homeless stay, wherever my Father sends me. I offer them to all races, class, or religious beliefs. The Lord does not discriminate. There are numerous and very interesting stories of how and where the Lord leads and guides me. This is a walk of growth in strength, wisdom, love, patience, etc. It is quite an adventure full of excitement keeping me on the edge of my seat and quite possibly you. So come and walk with me. Oh but first, let me add that from here on out I am going to allow capitalizations in areas I detest for the sake of my editors. Also, all scripture comes from KJV unless stated otherwise.

    Filling In the Blanks

I must let you know that the start of my story begins with His Steady Eye. I can summarize the beginning if you wish, but every summary has details. Not to mention that you may end up with a few misconceptions. Since you insist… I will summarize for you, but fair warning, I may leave some things out. So here goes… I was born in Oregon. I have four siblings. I was a shy, sad child. Gave my innocence at ten years of age, became promiscuous, got on crack, and became a call girl. Married twice, was madly in love with second husband who was in love with himself as well. Obviously that didn’t last, but we have been separated now for twelve years. Had four kids, all different daddies. Got hooked on pills and was still hooked on bad relationships. I hated my life for many reasons. But everything changed when my Lord called me to Him. Now as I said before, if you are interested in details, then you must begin at my first book of course, unless you like starting a story somewhere other than the beginning. Don’t get mad, my dear reader, that was not sarcasm. Your author has a sense of humor as you will see—that is, if you stick around a while.

Okay, well, time to pick up from where I left off. I truly hope you can keep up if you haven’t read His Steady Eye. I will certainly do my best to fill you in on the details. But my books are based off my journal that I began after I received Christ, so this may be a bit interesting. Since you decided to hang around here, I will try to fill you in, reader. See, I’m not only funny but thoughtful. You may discover I’m a bit corky but most importantly I am absolutely, positively, undoubtedly, incredibly, undeniably in love with my Savior King Jesus, God my Father, and my wonderful guide the Holy Spirit.

I had a few matters going on in my previous book. My oldest sister and I are entirely opposite. She has pentagrams, she does free-writing, and likes Ouija boards. She has a tattoo of a half man/half goat named Pan that she worships on her forearm. My mother continues to allow her to live under her roof where I also live. I continue to pray for them both through this battle. Also I recently had a severe seizure on the side of the road with my seven-year-old granddaughter leaving her staring at her grandmother limp in the grass. I had an EEG and an MRI that showed no activity. And I have been waiting for the Lord to provide the finances to get His Steady Eye published.

I have a beautiful daughter (my youngest) that is in a bisexual relationship and hates me. Another, my youngest son that just picks up and hitchhikes to other states with just the clothes on his back and panhandles all the way. He is presently in jail in Florida and there is nothing I can do to help him other than pray. My oldest son has a wife and four kids and they do not believe in God and he rarely speaks to me. He is called a juggalo because he follows a band called ICP. All three of my kids I just mentioned all have addictions. My oldest daughter goes to church and raises her daughter by herself. We pray every day that the others come to know the Lord because they are all so deeply unhappy.

Yeah, I give up, there is no way I can get you caught up. Plus, I am certain my previous readers would like to move on, they may be getting a little anxious. And I don’t desire to reread the entirety of my previous book to fill in the blanks. I am not insinuating that it isn’t interesting, I mean, hello, the hand of God is all in this book. It is the start of an incredibly interesting journey that has me on the edge of my seat full of anticipation. I get blessed when I read it myself, but I have to work on this one. So I simply do not have the time to reread it right now, I was truly hoping you would do it for me. I mean that’s my whole purpose of writing these books, for you my precious reader. So let’s see what the Lord has planned next. I am anticipating His next many moves and since you’re here obviously you are also.

    Never Underestimate Father

    August 2017

Tenth. I quit taking my Keppra because it made me drowsy. I couldn’t read the Bible without getting sleepy. If the Lord doesn’t heal me from these seizures, I trust He has a purpose. I have full faith that He can heal me completely and I have full faith in His plans. So if He doesn’t, I desperately need to be on medication because I drive and keep my granddaughters, one particular almost daily. I also pick her up from school.

Same day. I had just completed my previous book and was busy editing it to the best of my ability. My oldest daughter had come by and I was quite hungry. I decided to go with her to get something quick to eat even though I wanted to keep working. I don’t really care for fast food but I am sick of the same thing. We went and got my money from her bank and then went to Wendy’s. I asked if we could stop at Dollar General. I was about to go in when she suggested we go ahead and eat our food first. We bowed our heads and prayed over our food. While I was praying I felt the need to pray for strength and for the right words when the time comes. I took a couple bites of my sandwich and looked up, I and my daughter both saw a young woman walk up to the front, sit down, and began crying. My daughter had stated her skepticism and with good reason, she lived with a conman for years. Tears was his profession and he is by far not the only drama king or queen.

But still without hesitation, I dropped my sandwich and stepped out of the car. I walked up to her and asked her what was wrong. She said she just got back from seeing her kids at DCS and her life is falling apart. I asked her if she knew Jesus. She stated that she used to (obviously not). I ministered to her for about twenty minutes, right there. We asked if there was anything we could do for her. She said no and then she said we could drop her off at some apartments. The apartments were only about fifteen minutes away. I nervously asked if I could pray for her, she accepted. We got out of the car and I held her hand and prayed. I ended up ministering to her for almost two hours in the parking lot. She was reluctant to believe that God loves her. I told her, If the Lord doesn’t love you, then I would be at home working on my book right now or I would be in the car eating my sandwich and believe me I am hungry. But instead, I am here telling you how much He loves you and wants so desperately to heal you. I couldn’t believe the things that I was saying.

I told my daughter she was worth not working on my book at that moment because I may see her in heaven someday. I realized the Lord didn’t want me to bring my testimonies because He wanted me to minister to her directly. He also caused me to be hungry so I would leave with my daughter. I was also looking for a cheap heater to buy from Dollar General before it got cold and they get expensive, God’s plan to get me to Dollar General while she was there. And He had my daughter suggest we eat right then so we would be available at the right moment. He also put it on my heart to ask for strength right then. Oh, He is so brilliant, Father is so wise.

Eleventh. The Lord woke me in the middle of the night with the title to my first book. I spent the entire day editing it. After I had completed my editing, I text my pastor asking if he knew of any Christian publishers, but he didn’t. I explained that I know God will lead me to the one He has chosen. I went into prayer to feel the guidance of the Holy Spirit, unfortunately I wasn’t. I went to office store to print off my manuscript. While I was there I seen a gentleman (a reverend) I had met only once before, he had informed me that he was an author. He said he would explain how he got his book published when I am ready. I didn’t have the finances yet and was waiting for guidance. I liked that he was a Christian author because I want nothing less than an entirely Christian based publisher. I found it very coincidental that he was there right after my prayer. My mother told me how to copyright a book so I bought an envelope and placed about four stamps on it. I addressed it to myself and put it in the post office box.

Twelfth. I was very anxious to get my book published. I went and got another copy of my book because you are not supposed to open the envelope after you copyright your book. I went walking because I was very annoyed from not feeling the presence of the Lord or the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I know the Lord will guide me, but I was anxious. I know He said, Be anxious for nothing, but this was a good anxious over a book the Lord wrote through me. I went to the West View Park and seen the pastor from God’s Place, his beautiful wife and a few other people. We spoke a bit but my mind was far off. I went home and felt the need to go back and apologize for my lack of social interest at that moment.

When I returned I noticed one of the ladies was there alone and everyone else had left. She was loading some of the things in her small little vehicle. I asked if she needed help and where everyone else was. She said that it was her own ministry and she was staying a few more hours. She explained that the others left to go have service at God’s place. They were expected to send someone to help get her things back home, it was a lot! I couldn’t imagine how she transports these things by herself and especially in her vehicle. This would remind you of one of the little clown cars in the circus. I could not wrap my brain around this task.

I felt I needed to stay and keep her company. We had and have a deep mutual love for Jesus. She had seen a gentleman walking down the street and asked if he wanted something to eat. This was part of her ministry to feed people and talk to them about Jesus. The gentleman ended up staying for a while. It then began to storm real hard. I mean, it rained and rained and rained. We had to start moving things closer in under the pavilion. The walking trail looked like a rushing creek and under the pavilion turned into a wading pool. Then when the gentleman came with his small truck, we were all trying to load her things. It took all four of us even if it hadn’t rained. I then offered to use my car because those two vehicles were packed.

I took the passerby home and followed them to her place which just so happen to be an apartment upstairs. I say this because it took she, myself, and the other gentleman to carry all this stuff upstairs on to her balcony. A small balcony for that matter that was shared with her neighbor. We carried up fully loaded coolers even after emptying the water. We carried up those huge plastic buffet tables, a podium, etc. All three of us took at least five trips a piece, I say at least if not more. And sometimes it took two of us together to carry some of the items. We were soaked and absolutely exhausted. By the time we were done, it was near time for service at God’s place.

I went home and changed my clothes and my tennis shoes to sandals. I needed a shower terribly but I didn’t have time and wanted to attend service. My hair was a disaster but I didn’t care. I am very picky about my appearance but when it comes to church I will go a mess if I have to (as you already know if you read my first book). I am not vain but I have dignity. At the beginning of the service, we were asked if anyone wanted to give their testimony. After hesitation, I finally walked up to the podium.

Through my testimony, I mentioned that I have HIV. The pastor got up to preach sometime later and told me not to leave because I was going to receive my healing after service. He called me up when service ended, and one of the younger men stood in front of me with a Bible.

He began reading a few verses on anointing. He then knelt down to my foot and said he sees that God had this all planned because he was going to ask me to remove my shoe. He then anointed my toe, my ear, my thumb, and my head. Several people gathered around me, about seven men and the pastor’s wife. They all placed their hands on me and began praying. I could hear the pastor’s wife go into tongues and the power of God was heavy all over us. These lovely people are all just full of the Holy Spirit. It was incredible how the Lord placed me at the park so I would know of the service. And it was amazing that there was a rain storm to soak my feet so I would have to change my shoes. What a beautiful blessing God provided me.

    3

    Always Be Prepared

Thirteenth. After two days of waiting to feel the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I finally called the reverend that I had met at Office store. I had went on Google the other day looking for his book titles and only found one. I didn’t feel it was Christian based at all. I lost interest after we spoke because he named off two more of his books and they didn’t sound Christian based either. Our conversation just wasn’t sitting well with me. I wasn’t comfortable enough to receive his assistance. He was a kind gentleman. He just didn’t have what I needed.

Same Day. That evening three of our sister churches came for service so the sanctuary was packed, amen. It felt like a revival more than a service. We were all going into the spirit during the singing. The Spirit of God was flooding the church. We were all screaming and shouting, jumping and dancing. I was about to start running up and down the aisles or jumping up on the bench. We had an incredible service. Our services are live streamed, so I have the pleasure of going back and reliving the moment.

Fourteenth. I went riding around with my oldest daughter and asked her to take me to the post office. The manuscript that I had copyrighted had finally came back to me but the postmark was barely visible. The lady said that the postmark was definitely not sufficient. She stamped it multiple times and said it was $5. My daughter covered it for me. The lady asked if I had anything with my address on it. I conveniently had a piece of mail come in with my manuscript and just so happen to pick them both up at the same time. I know that was God’s plan as well that I had that extra piece of mail on hand. Now I know how to copyright my manuscripts.

Sixteenth. I began my search for publishers. I called Lifeway Christian book store. I asked about publishers that they may know of. They provided me with about three companies. This same day I began chapter titles because I realized I had left them out. I was beginning to get a headache and I asked God to deliver my pain. It was immediate. He then began blessing me and I felt He was pleased with my obedience. I was crying so much that I couldn’t work. Then He started pouring the chapter titles on me. This is all still for my first book.

Twenty-Seventh. My mom started explaining a television episode to me that she had watched. It was of a young girl that was about to die and she seen an angel. I politely told her that I couldn’t handle anymore after I patiently listened to a few minutes already. She got mad and stormed into the living room. I began yelling that I wasn’t trying to be rude or mean and she still continued to act ridiculous. I told her that a little drug leads to a bigger drug and then a bigger drug. I told her that I don’t want to be addicted to that crap (television) playing in there anymore. I told her that she knows it is all crap, okay, sorry, most of it. Basically I wish that she would stop shoving her drugs down my throat. I never heard Jesus mentioned in any of it and it was playing inside my head as if I was watching television myself. I have even told my own daughter not to tell me about things on television or in movies.

I admit before I got saved I use to do the same to her even worse. I use to tell her all kinds of things. I use to shove my wretched, forgive me please, (sex) life down her throat. I use to shove Jerry Springer and then some down her throat as well. But she knows I wasn’t saved, so my question is, what changed?
