Cue Ball Control Ownership Series, Portfolio #9 of 12 - Allan P. Sand
Instructions
There are two table layouts with each setup. The first table shows the CB path for the provided speed/spin tip. The second table shows only the CB and OB positions and the speed/spin tip. Use this to confirm you own the intended speed/spin.
Set up donuts (paper reinforcement rings) for all CB positions and the 1 ball. You can use a donut for the 2 ball, but as you can see, the positions are obvious.
Your goal is to pocket the 1 ball and then get shape on the next ball, as shown. You have the shortcuts – but feel free to be inventive
.
NOTE: If you find yourself NOT getting the expected results – you are NOT hitting the CB at the one cue tip out location (probably you are hitting 1/2 or 3/4 tip out from center) – or your speed control needs work.
Many of the table layouts have multiple ways to play position. Experiment after you can play the table setup as shown.
For each shot, there are TWO layouts.
