    汪金林,漢族,1963年7月生於紹興,字錦凌,號汪兄、全木、慕白。室名越寶齋、景都書屋。自幼喜愛書畫,勤學苦練。經三十年的收藏積累,已藏有宋、元、明、清及近代各家書畫數百件,長期以來對晉、唐、宋、元各大書家手跡多有臨習。

    近年來在美國舊金山中國畫廊連續兩屆舉辦書畫個展,其作品被國內外書畫愛好者和多家博物館收藏,並被多家拍賣公司拍賣,享譽海內外。所著畫論、畫評被多家藝術雜志及拍賣公司採用,對古代書畫鑒定、收藏與修復成就斐然。並在亞洲藝術中心及《矽谷看世界》節目中以中國古字畫承傳與修複爲題發表演講。其事跡被收錄《越中名人譜》,是當代實力派中年書畫家、鑒定家、收藏家、古書畫修復非遺傳承人。

    現為美國加州中國畫院院長、紹興越寶齋·天池書畫院院長、美國舊金山中華藝術學會首席顧問、北京恆豐拍賣公司藝術顧問、紹興文化藝術品研究會顧問、紹興市政協墨華書畫院評審專家。

    Author's Profile

    Wang Jinlin, of Han ethnicity, was born in July 1963 in Shaoxing. He is also known by the courtesy name Jinling, and his aliases include Wang Xiong, Quanmu, and Mubai. His study is named Yue Bao Zhai and his studio is called Jing Du Shu Wu. From a young age, he had a passion for calligraphy and painting, dedicating himself to diligent study and practice. Over the course of thirty years, he has amassed a collection of hundreds of pieces of calligraphy and painting from various dynasties, including the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing, as well as from modern artists.He has also extensively studied the works of major calligraphers and painters from the Jin, Tang, Song, and Yuan periods.

    In recent years, he has held solo exhibitions of his calligraphy and painting at Chinese art galleries in San Francisco, USA, for two consecutive sessions. His works have been collected by art enthusiasts both domestically and internationally, as well as by several museums. They have also been featured in auctions by various auction houses, gaining recognition worldwide. His writings on art and art criticism have been adopted by multiple art magazines and auction companies. His achievements in the authentication, collection, and restoration of ancient calligraphy and painting are highly regarded. He has delivered lectures on the conservation and restoration of ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting at the Asian Art Center and on program Innovation Dialog of the Silicon Valley Innovation Channel. His achievements have been recorded in the Shaoxing Famous People Genealogy. Wang Jinlin is a contemporary middle-aged artist, connoisseur, collector, and inheritor of restoration technique of the intangible cultural heritage of ancient calligraphy and painting.
