    CHAPTER ONE

    Who the hell are you and what the hell do you want?

    Good the hell evening.  I’m Lee Hacklyn.  Private Investigator, Champion of the Oppressed and Nightly Flosser.  The hell.

    You look like a Sears Catalog underwear model.

    That’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me.

    His jeans were caked with mud and the hems were frayed.
