Lee Hacklyn Series

New York City. 1976.   Lee is hired by none other than his mother, Alison Hacklyn, to find a missing Russian ballerina, who wants to defect. What is her secret? And will her desire to betray her country trigger World War III?

New York City. 1987.   Lee is hired by his old friend, Flynn MacIntyre, a television producer, whose brother, Lloyd, a security chief for the upcoming Miss B.U.T.T. Pageant, was killed by a drunk driver. Flynn thinks his brother was murdered. During his investigation, Lee finally confronts District Attorney Prentice Kane, who regards Lee as an out-of-control vigilante.  

New York City. 1986.   New York State Governor Kevin Quartermain is the King.  His wife, Layla, is the Queen. Monty Wallace, a mentally-challenged young man, wrongly convicted of murder, is the Pawn. Lee Hacklyn is the Knight. Monty's father, Angus, has hired him to prove that his son is innocent, and to break a conspiracy of silence that allows evil to run rampant.

New York City. 1978.   Lee is hired by sixteen-year old New York University graduate Mike Galt, to investigate the murder of his father, architect Noah Galt.

New York City. 1978.   Lee is hired to investigate the murder of actor Calvin Quirk, the star of a new science-fiction series called Star Quest.

1986. Lee is hired by Bob Moranis, Director of Operations for CSIS, Canadian Secuirty Intelligence Service, to run security at Canada Plaza, during Vancouver's World's Fair, Expo 86. On opening day, FLQ terrorists unleash their master plan.  

New York City. 1985.   Lee has a new job:  he's Chief-of-Security for Motivational Speaker and Best-Selling Author Robert Nathan. It's a full-time gig that comes with two things Lee's never had before:  medical and dental benefits. But it doesn't take long for all hell to break loose. We all have people in our past who are less than enamoured with us. But most of them don't want to murder us.

New York City. 1981.   Nolan Anderson, CEO of Terrific Toys, hires Lee to investigate the murders of two executives. Complications arise when Lee falls for the prime suspect, Agatha Argue, member of activist group, W.A.V.I.E., Women Against Violence in Entertainment.

New York City. 1977.   Stacey Shannon, the widow of movie reviewer Roger Shannon, the latest victim of "The Movie Critic Killer," hires Lee to investigate his murder. Meanwhile, Sid Phelps, one of Lee's fellow private eyes, is suffering from potentially deadly psychological disorder.  

New York City. 1973.   Lee is hired to investigate the murder of Vaughn Viking, Dean of Emerson University. Viking was an outspoken anti-hazing advocate.

New York City. 1973.   Simon Penn has been convicted of first degree murder. As he begins to serve his life sentance, with no chance of parole, some one begins to kill the jurors who found him guilty. Lee is on the case. Carrie Penn, Simon's sister, is at the top of Lee's suspect list. Unfortunately, he's fallen for her like the proverbial ton of bricks.

New York City. 1973.   Mob boss Guido Testa, and his wife, Sophia, run the Big Apple. Their next target?  Our boy, Lee. And his family, too.

New York City.  1987.   Dr. Leo Labaya has created a new kind of pill that he claims instantly relieves stress and anxiety. When Lee is hired to spy on Ophelia Hall, Leo's receptionist, he discovers that the pill not only does it's job a little too well, it turns some people into killers.

New York City. 1986.   Lee faces his greatest challenge when he confronts Legion, a privately-funded terrorist group, bent on world domination and the elimination of religious freedom.

New York City. 1975.   Lee is hired by Winner's Delight Casino security guard Gladys Van Pelt to investigate the murder of her boyfriend, Dan Bannerman.    

New York City. 1974. Stop!  Or my Mom will investigate! Lee is off to the City of Dreams, Los Angeles, to investigate the suspicious death of Hollywood stuntman Dane Schaffer...and this time, Alison Hacklyn, she who birthed him, is along for the ride.

New York City. 1974.   Captain Don Gregory, a World War II veteran, hires Lee to investigate the murder of his son, Sean, an ex-hippie who became a successful entrepreneur. Meanwhile, Lee's sister, Ann, is recovering from a savage attack on her life. During Lee's investigation, he discovers a connection between the two incidents.

New York City. 1984.   Lee is hired by professional wrestler Val Gerschel, AKA Vain Glorius, to investigate what he believes is the murder of American Wrestling Society President Tad Miller.  

New York City.  1977. Actor Colton Maine, star of "The Quick-Draw Phantom," hires Lee for bodyguard duty, as he tours the country promoting his autobiography. Shortly after Lee takes the job, two of Colton's cast-mates, Joe Hawk and Cindy Campbell, are murdered.

New York City. 1978, Lee is hired to investigate the murder of Tom Wyler, lead singer of a hard rocking band called The Dice.

New York City.   Barney Neville, the owner of American Fitness Inc., hires Lee to investigate the murder of bodybuilder/actor, Gunther Hoffman.

New York City. 1974.   Lee is hired to investigate corruption at a celebrity telethon by a telejournalist named Meg Noth.  Shorty after hiring Lee, Meg is killed in a car bombing.

New York City. 1975.   Lee is hired to investigate the death of reporter Gil Greenman. Gil worked for a tabloid called The Weekly Truth. His death was ruled a suicide. But Lee's clients believe that Gil was murdered because he had in his possession evidence that we are not alone in this universe.

New York City. 1980.   Lee is hired by Dr. Adam and Esther Abelman to investigate the disappearnce of their daughter, sixteen-year old Isabella. Meanwhile, what is the deadly secret of Purity Day? And how does it connct with Isabella's disappearance?

New York City. 1976.   Who is Patricia "Tequila" Bonnet? She's Lee's latest crush. But when she disppears, Lee is the only one who remembers her. This time, Lee's client is his heart.  

New York City. 1974.   George and Sasha Franks, founders of the New Christian Movement, hire Lee to investigate the murder of their eighteen-year old daughter, Olivia.

Germany, West and East. 1989.   Lee, along with his fellow private eyes, Sid Phelps and Clint Courage, are posing as CBC journalists and representatives from a charity agency called Save The World, in search of American scientist Dr. Elias Fischer, who believes he can create a force-field strong enough to withstand nuclear attack.

New York City. 1975.   Rosa Parks High School juniors Nancy Hardy, Tom Drew and his brother Eddie, hire Lee...well, they politely ask him...to investigate the murder of their favorite teacher, Simon Humphrey.

New York City. 1978.   While investigating the murder of high school teacher Alex Worthington, Lee discovers that key members of the Queens School Board are members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Queens. New York City. 1977.   Lee is hired by sports agent Marv Martell to investigate the murder of tennis star, Chloe Hammond.
