    Preface

Many people in this world do not want to hear the Word of God or know God until something uncomfortable happens in their lives, such as death in the family or the loss of their loved ones. Many people will like to tell you that they were atheists until sickness struck their bodies, tragedies such as fire, earthquake, disaster, war, volcano erupts, or mudslides.

Many people will tell you that they are still young and they do not want to find or know God until they are old to a certain age. Some will say that if they know God, they will not be able to get rich or achieve what they want in life. They forget that nothing is beyond God's reach and that his purpose and plan sustain the entire world and all those who live in it. They don't believe that God is the source of their provisions. They don't want to know that Jesus Christ is the life and the light of the world. Jesus Christ told Tomas, one of his disciples: "I am the way and the truth and the life. Jesus is the way: He is the pathway to the Father. Jesus Christ is the truth: Christ is the revelation of who God is; Jesus Christ is the life: He is the risen Lord of life for all those who believe in him.

Believing means believing by surrendering yourself to him in all you are doing and in all you do. Through Christ Jesus and with him and in him, we become the way, the truth, and the life. People always cry. Where is God when their lives turn around to what they do not expect; when all things are going their way, full of wealth, good health, and preposition, they don't ask the question, God, where are you? They don't want to let you even say God Bless You when they have a sinus infection, and since around you, they will tell you don't say god Bless to me because I am an Atheist. The people of this world must give their lives to God faithfully and sincerely before any problem comes into their lives so that they can be right there to receive help from the problem solver who can take care of their problems.

Chapter 1: Where is God In Time of Trouble?

When there was a plane crash that took the lives of many people on board, people asked where God was. And why can God not stop this plane crash before it Crashed? Is God still with us in this world? The Holy Scripture explained and clarified these questions: it revealed our sins; an example of King David's Story:

The Lord sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said there were two men in a certain town; one rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle, but the poor man had nothing except one little Ewe-Lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shaved his food, drank from his cup, and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him. Now, a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the Ewe-Lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him. David was turned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, as surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this deserves to die! He must pay for that Lamb four times over because he did such a thing and had no pity. Nathan said to David, You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I anointed you King over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave your master's house to you; I gave you all Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more. Why did you despise the Word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own.

You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. Now, therefore, the sword will never depart from your house because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your own." (2nd Samuel 12: 1-10)

Prophet Nathan declared to David that he had committed adultery, murder, and deceit. He was guilty of sin against God of despising the word of the Lord, as well as despising God himself means he treated contemptuously, to scorn, to make little actions; by his actions, David was declaring God to be of little account, unworthy of love and devotion to the Lord God almighty.

In the church today, ministers of God who commit adultery reflect their estimate of God and his Holy Word. They treat the Gospel and the
