    Preface

Nature has so many beautiful things to offer us. Flowers and plants impress us with their beauty and bring us minerals, vitamins, and nutrients. The cycle of seed to plant to flowers or vegetables or fruits is almost a miracle itself. But there are many other plants that can last with flowers for us to enjoy their beauty, and the cycle goes on and on.

Similarly, there are a lot of human-made products that are beautiful when created, but they wear out as time passes by, and they eventually find a place in a garbage can. And this happens to the sturdiest things we have in life, such as our houses. A house has a long but limited life along with its many facilities and systems, all of which start getting faulty after some time.

For instance, if you have a house built in the 1960s, something in it is bound to break down. Houses need attention, just like our own bodies need attention. In a house, if a pipe breaks, it can potentially pose a bigger problem. Sometimes you must replace a pipe, but there are times you may have to replace the entire plumbing system. So, you must inspect every pipe in the whole system to understand the actual problem. To know what to do, you have to diagnose the problem and then decide what to do. Ultimately, our bodies need to be checked regularly so we know what we need to fix when we have problems.

    Now what?

Can you leave the system, and it will remain in functional condition forever?

    Not at all!

In a house, the whole plumbing system should be checked regularly, or else the leaky and broken pipes will keep bothering you again and again. No matter how high-quality the material is you use to construct your house, nothing can last forever. Everything in the house wears out against time, and it all needs to be repaired or replaced at one point.

Yes, it is possible for you to prolong the overall lifespan of your house to some extent. And it is possible only on one condition: that you clean your house on a regular basis and maintain every system in the house with due care.

If we compare, we find that the human body is not that different from a house. We are not everlasting creatures, and aging is an unstoppable act for us. So, our bodies also wear out over time, and this manifests itself in the form of weaker body organs, wrinkles on the skin, and a weaker immune system. The cells in our body are affected by toxic substances and viruses quickly. As a result, we start getting diseases and our bodies take a longer time to heal while we keep growing older and weaker.

In the human body, every organ and cell is affected by the process of aging. But aging is not the only factor that weakens our body. In fact, most of us invite the other factors that weaken our body organs ourselves. Nature has been very kind to us and has made the human body strong—we are blessed. However, if we treat our bodies badly, then our bodies can fail, especially if our bodies are being attacked by viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungus, and heavy metals. You cannot blame just your age for your health issues, but you can also blame other factors like pollution, poor nutrition, improper eating habits, heavy metals, and, mainly, lack of detox and support for your body.

I believe that ALL OF US can age without losing health if we know the right things to do and the right foods to eat!

There are certain factors that speed up the negative processes affecting our bodies. But we can control some of these health and wellness issues. We can detox the bad things out of our bodies; we can provide sustenance for our bodies; we can protect the cells in our bodies.

We are exposed to environmental toxins daily. They are present in our environment and food. Toxic substances and heavy metals are poisonous and have negative consequences for the human body. When we are constantly exposed to toxins, they build up and cause several diseases and auto-immune disorders, including cancer. So, you must be careful and get rid of toxins if you do not want your body to wear out and end up weak, like a house built in 1960.

Cleaning and fixing a house is not quick and easy. Detoxing your body isn’t either. But, just like every house is different, so is every person’s body. Thus, I suggest that you go on a personalized detox plan for yourself. You must understand what is wrong in your body and then you can fix the problem. Most of us realize the presence of toxic substances when we get sick, but everyone varies in their self-awareness. If somebody has multiple sclerosis or Lyme disease, the type of toxic substances are different, and they need a different intensity of effort for removal. If you are lucky enough to have the right doctor with you, he or she will understand your unique problem. But you are the main person who must take care of yourself. You are in charge. We all have different body types and certain sources of toxic exposure, so we need a personalized detox plan.

This is a guidebook that will help you build a strong defense against toxic substances and provide ways to remove already-accumulated toxic substances. No matter who you are, you need to cleanse your body internally, and not just externally. In addition, you need to clean the environment and maintain it so that we all can live in a cleaner place.

If you are an employer, you have an even bigger responsibility on your shoulders. Firstly, you need to take care of yourself. Secondly, and more importantly, you must ensure a clean and safe workplace for your employees. Your employees need a workplace where they can breathe without breathing in harmful toxins. This is important both at work and at home. The environment around us affects our bodies. The land, air, and water need to be clean.

In this book, I intend to help people understand why they get sick. There are treatments and preventive measures that can help you live a healthy life. Even more so, in this book I would like to draw your attention to the broader meaning of detoxification. Detoxing the body and environment is essential for your health, but this can only be complete when you detox your emotional and spiritual side. Today, we are witnessing a rapidly growing number of patients with physical as well as mental diseases. Many disturbing events are taking place, such as suicide, homicide, shootings in public, etc. Sadly, the statistics are on the rise, and I don’t see these numbers going go down anytime soon. The simple reason is that we have become toxic because we do not clean ourselves mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I, myself, have gone through challenges, so I will never abandon my mission to make people aware of how they can detox physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I want people to learn from my mistakes and have better, cleaner lives.

You deserve a clean and healthy life, and no one should be able to take it from you unless you let them. Remember: it is not just an individual effort. People need to detox, yes, but societies do too. So, let’s do it together and clean our environment for ourselves, for our kids, and for future generations.
