Eternal Reflection: Diaries of Darkness, #2
()
About this ebook
There are stories of the night that our elders foretell during moments that idle. Those who genuinely listen attain knowledge of the urban legends that coexist within our realm of understanding. Where there is anarchy that looms before us, there are past troubles that are left to be uncovered. Those who seek to discover the truth without comprehending its outcomes shall be derailed and have their minds infiltrated by thoughts of crazed imagination.
Three boys, Arthur Flemming, Cylus Freidman, and Jordan Ingles, son of the mayor of their town, Ingleton, venture far into the depths of self-doubt and regret through attempting to settle their karmic accounts. However, just like a credit card, these accounts have accrued interest by their lack of awareness to repaying these debts. A hollowing, eerie presence in the form of Floyd Jameson, a janitor who reappears as a spirit collector, haunts the boys, reminding them of their moral obligations.
You may wonder why and where this man pursued the group. Well, it is safe to say that everything in life always comes full circle, and time can do magical things. The man wants to do nothing but hold the malevolent teens accountable for their overindulgences and preach moderation. The boys' reflections were eternally etched into Ingleton's history upon disturbing the dead. Life is short but shorter for others, depending on our decisions.

October is a month that has solidified its image as a time of dark, lonely emptiness. Cold autumn nights have us seeking the bright, untouchable stars shining above us through the holes of colorful leaves atop dying trees. Nature’s collapse has an aura of beauty to it. As for when something dies, residue will always be left behind.
Humans enjoy the thrill of constant pleasure, which may take many forms. During this time of year, the mystery is a mere spectacle of the illusions that endearingly present themselves.
The thought of pain, death, contentment, and love, all comprised in a package that will be opened by daring adventurers willing to trek down a path of no return, becomes evident. Meanwhile, the unrecognizable danger that comes with ill-informed banter plagues the season, tricking those uneducated into a treat that most would not ideally consider desirable.
There was a small, secluded township of no more than twenty-three hundred residents that operated several hundreds of miles away from the major cities in their state. The town was unbothered for a reason, as its history hadn’t reassured many to stay. Its inhabitants weren’t passionate about making it big in life.
