My journey commenced in childhood, encountering the unyielding forces of deception and manipulation. As a vulnerable child, I unwittingly forged an unholy alliance with these dark forces, companions that shadowed me into adulthood. These mischievous entities became companions, confidants, and eventually, captors over time. However, even in the shadows, God's unwavering presence remained, patiently waiting.

In my darkest moment, I reached out to the Lord, and miraculously, God's hand pulled me from the pit of deception. With divine grace, I embarked on a healing and self-discovery journey. Together, we confronted spirits of manipulation, brokenness, bondage, deception, and depression. With steadfast faith, I served divorce papers. I was no longer bound; I was free from these tormentors.

Women, it’s time to stop settling for men who were never meant to be your husbands! Here’s the thing: when we, as women, enter a relationship, we often go above and beyond right from the start. Many single women desire marriage so much that they showcase their wifely qualities, displaying what they bring to the table in hopes of securing a lifelong commitment. However, we often give without requiring them to earn what we offer. We invest everything into situations or people God only intended to be temporary. Remember the saying, Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? It’s akin to Why commit to making her my wife when I can get her to do anything as a girlfriend without commitment? If she’s already cooking, cleaning, and taking care of things, it's no longer a challenge—it's free game.

You might be wondering how I know this, why I'm bringing this up, or why I’ve penned a book about it. Well, get ready because it's about to get raw and revealing. God entrusted me with this mission. Trust me, I understood the task and I've delivered. I was once in a situation where I acted like a wife without the ring or commitment. I didn’t recognize my own value, and I accepted things I never thought I would. That saying, never say never, rings true; we can't predict our actions until we're tested. Proverbs 18:21 tells us about the power of our words and thoughts—what we speak matters.

I used to be the one saying, I’d never accept that, without realizing I'd become that person one day. I became a product of my thoughts, words, fears, and lies. From being in a long-term relationship, I learned that a man often knows what he wants from a woman right away. He knows if she's just for a fling, a friend, a side piece, or wife material. So why hold on, hoping and wishing for a proposal after years without commitment? Women, why do we endure things we don’t agree with for so long, fighting to prove our worth as potential wives when we know the truth deep down? When I understood my identity and my purpose, I decided I would no longer settle. I am the prize!
