About this ebook
Toby lay on the small bed and could not move. His wrists had been tied firmly on the bedposts, along with his ankles. He squirmed around in the bed, but it was to no avail. The ropes were tied too tightly and there was no way Toby could wriggle free.
Sweat began to pour down from his forehead as he contemplated his grim fate.
"I can't believe this is happening to me! I just passed through this town to get some respite from cattle herding and this happens to me. This ain't right!"

CHAPTER ONE
A Lonely, Painful Death
Toby lay on the small bed and could not move. His wrists had been tied firmly on the bedposts, along with his ankles. He squirmed around in the bed, but it was to no avail. The ropes were tied too tightly and there was no way Toby could wriggle free.
Sweat began to pour down from his forehead as he contemplated his grim fate.
I can’t believe this is happening to me! I just passed through this town to get some respite from cattle herding and this happens to me. This ain’t right!
It’s not right? You say this is not right, Gringo? It was not right that you rejected me. No man rejects Pacita and lives to tell about it.
The young, slender Mexican walked towards Toby. Toby saw Pacita moving purposefully towards him. His eyes spotted the slim, but sharp knife that she held in one hand. The metal knife glistened from the moonlight that poured from the room’s window. It was not a large and imposing weapon, but Toby knew that it was sharp enough to do its grim business.
Pacita! What are you talking about? I never rejected you!
Toby said.
Upon hearing Toby’s words, Pacita’s eyes widened with rage.
You liar! You rejected me at the town square in front of all to see! You shamed me, made me look like a desperate lady in waiting! And after I served you, treated you well, and gave you my heart!
Toby felt his heart beating out of his chest. When he rode into this small town, all he wanted was a place to stay and rest up a bit. He never expected to meet Pacita, and he never thought that she was this disturbed in the head.
Pacita that’s not how it went. Please! You need help...
I need help? Me? No, gringo! You are the one that needs help. You are the one that needs to learn how to treat a lady with the proper respect! You will take that lesson with you, to your grave!
Pacita’s words rang loud and clear to Toby. The full horror of the situation finally dawned upon him. He was going to die here, alone and with a woman who was messed up in the head. It would be a lonely and painful death and there was nothing Toby could do about it.
Toby screamed and cried out for help. No one heard him. It would be a long night before he finally expired. For Toby, it would feel like an eternity of pain before the end came.
CHAPTER TWO
Something’s Not Right About Her
The traveler rode into the small town in the middle of a fiesta. The town’s population was mainly Mexican and they liked to have a lot of fiestas during a typical calendar year. This was just another one of them.
The traveler passed several merrymakers as they sang and danced in the middle
