About this ebook
Many trees suffer from age, fungal decay, lightning strikes, terrible hurricanes, and suppression by stronger trees as they compete for sunlight, water, and soil nutrients. Both the palm tree and the cedar, however, are extra-ordinary and can withstand the elements for much longer than most trees known in the universe. The cedar in particular is an exceptionally strong, durable, and beautifully-grained hardwood.
The palm tree grows in all the countries of the world, and its intrinsic values are well described in this book. When someone is favoured by God to combine the attributes of a palm and a cedar, then that person has fully appropriated God's prophecy of flourishing like a palm tree and growing like a cedar in Lebanon (Psalm 92 v. 12).
Solomon's temple pillars were of very strong wood, mostly cedar wood, and the cedar tree remains till this day the symbol of Lebanon. This is seen by the position that the cedar occupies and symbolises in the national flag of Lebanon. It depicts strength, beauty, and majesty. The cedar tree is like an eagle. The eagle flies the highest in the worst storms, while the cedar thrives most in the worst of inclement weathers.
The lesson of this book is basically that the child of God is conditioned to have all the attributes of two of the most powerful, useful, and durable trees in this entire universe.
I strongly recommend the book for reading by all who seek knowledge of how they may well attain the heights of sublime glory like the palm tree and the cedar of Lebanon (cederis lebani).

Acknowledgment
There is nothing I can do without the Holy Spirit. I acknowledge the work He does on me, in me, and with me, as I journey on the narrow way, trusting Him to guide my steps and stops.
Thank you, dear gentle Holy Spirit, for all you do and continue to do.
Introduction
The prosperity of a child of God is undoubtedly one of God's main objectives. He intends that as we, as His children, grow and increase spiritually, we also increase progressively in all other areas of our lives. Several passages of scripture lend credence to this fact.
The wisdom of God is infinite and great. A lot is locked up in the scriptures, and it will take the wise and the diligent to search out some of the gems hidden in the word of God. A superficial reading of scriptures will definitely not be sufficient to fully grasp the entirety of the mind
