    CHAPTER ONE

    Jake came home after work on Saturday to see a strange car in the driveway. It was a blue Nissan Pathfinder, and he tried to think who he knew who might drive one, but he couldn’t really place it. He could see that his sister Amy was there. She’d moved out of his parent’s house last year, it seemed like she was there constantly. There was no sign of either of his parents though, with both of their cars not being in the driveway or the garage, which was open.
