About this ebook

An erotic short story of the passionate love between Alexandria, a quiet reserved school teacher and Heath, a struggling writer with mesmerizing blue eyes and a rock star meets boy next door persona.

It all started so innocently, a coffee date, a dinner, a sweet seduction and what followed was to be Alex's sexual awakening. Heath was insatiable, unleashing his inner animal, a pure sexual force that left Alex gasping and wanting more.

Soon that was all to change for Heath was not the man she thought he was. He had a hidden agenda that would soon leave Alex exposed, venerable and broken.

I having been trying to get into this book. But the writing style is so erratic, Its hard to keep my interest. I just can not finish it. I was offered this book in exchange for a honest review and my honest opinion is buyer beware. Just because its not my taste doesn't mean it wont be yours.

What should be a erotic short story turned out to be something completely different. I didn´t find it erotic at all and it felt like the story was written by several people... a 5-year old, and old lady from the south, Goofy (who says "Gosh" but him?), a teenager because of some words and sentences was used. I was given a copy from the author for an honest review.

Chapter One

I didn’t hear her approach so when she spoke, I was pretty much startled. You’re finally over watching those short films by Cornetto, huh? Got tired after the tenth time you've seen them all, one after the other? You're supposed to take a step back from all that mushy rubbish and snap back to reality. But at least, you’ve started your new journal. Feel better? Joan lectured me as she stood by my room’s doorway. It has been months since... well. I stopped writing to smile at her and nod. My roommate has been more than supportive of me especially during these past couple of months. Nice, it’s a good way of moving on.

Yeah, I gave up hope that the other one would ever turn up. I can’t stop writing about this, my pathetic life because if I die and rot and become part of the earth, no one would remember I ever existed. I also need to purge myself of all the angst thanks to Heath. I slowly got up from my bed to face Joan. So are you going out?

Yeah, but I'll be in touch in case you have sudden suicidal tendencies tonight. She nodded, flipped her hair and chuckled as she entered my room, showing off her new black bodycon dress that showed off her thin body. Third date with Jessie, tonight... I hope this is worth all the trouble. I don’t want to have to keep dressing up, put makeup on to make me look nice just to find a guy I cannot hold on to.

You shouldn’t be too negative. Cautious is the proper way to do it, but not negative. I lectured her. Go out and have fun. Don’t think too much about what will happen next. Just think of keeping yourself protected from falling too much in love.

I don’t know if you’ve learned your lesson or not, Alex. You still seem to be all talk somehow. I don’t mean it as an offense, more like a reminder that you too need to get a life like me. And enough of those self-help books for crying out loud! She shook her head and left my room, but not after she had picked up my bangles and wore them without asking me.

Drive safe! I called after her, then stood up and looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing pyjamas, for goodness sake, on a Saturday night and it was only eight. I frowned and slumped back to bed, clutching the new hard bound notebook against my chest.

See you later or tomorrow if I get lucky. I hear Joan call right back out to me.

Good for her. She's been so busy with her work lately; she needs to have some fun. I don't, because fifth graders are fun and I have a good time being who I want to be in the classroom, leaving me enough time to draw.

Funny that Joan should mention it, but I don’t read too much self-help books, I just have seventeen books that teach me how to live and love properly.

Joan takes a more reckless approach in life, like the Dalai Lama said, Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon. She takes that to heart. Joan is my best friend, roommate and confidante ever since we met on the first day in college in our very first dorm room. Since then, we have been inseparable. She has
