Chapter 1

Hello, Danalli, Jenn said as she stood beside his bed.

Danalli shot out of bed, Jenn! You're alive!

No, baby, I am not. I have no body in which to live.

Baby, how are you here? I see you!

You see my spirit only, Jenn replied with a sadness in her voice.

How is this even possible?

"AlaHanDrea forbid me to leave. Just like she forbid you to die...

You already died...

she just wouldn't let you go...

You died a week before I got back to you...

she just wouldn't let you go.

I get it now.

I understand what you're going through now.

I knew it was you before I died.

I just didn't want to say anything, because I enjoyed being with you... I didn't want to lose you."

What are you talking about, Jenn?

I'm talking about your special hunger...

George, I wasn't going to say anything just yet, but, when I received Jenn's body, there was the slightest pulse... Apparently, she landed on her dragon, not the ground, Healix was saying before George interrupted him...

What are saying, Healix?

I put Jenn's body on life support.

Wait, you did what?

I put Jenn's body on mechanical life support.

Jenn lives?

That's not what I said.

Then, what are you saying?

I'm saying, I put her body on life support! Machines are breathing for her and beating her heart for her. But she's not there, not right now she's not. Her body only lives because I'm forcing it to!

O.k? And you're doing this because??? George asked, feeling very confused.

Because AlaHanDrea forced her soul to remain here! She forbade Jenn to leave!

So, where is Jenn?

My guess, she's visiting her husband!

So, what's the goal, here?

To allow her body time to regenerate, which, the human body can do, given enough time and the correct nourishment, etc...

And then?

And then, try to reconnect her body with her soul. My guess is ... that is where Mitchin comes in... If not, then we go see the big guy, cuz we both know He can do it.

How long do you expect this process to take?

"That, I can't tell ya... I just don't know... I've never tried this before, it's a shot in the dark.

It does, however, make logical sense, given the fact that the human body will heal and regenerate!" Healix explained.

So, basically, what you're telling me, is that there's a chance we'll get Jenn back? George asked.

In a nut shell, yeah.

I so badly want to hold you, baby! Danalli said, with tears rolling down his cheeks.

I know sweetheart, I want to hold you too! I wish there was a way! But we can talk to each other and I'm here baby... I'm not gone, not really... what about our child?

"She was a girl and she didn't survive...

Tootsie cut King Alfred's head off with her sword and gave it to my father and I on a silver platter."

Our child, our baby was killed... Jenn said, looking down at the floor.

Tootsie executed her killer, baby. She cut his head off and made sure he knew it was for you, just before she swung her sword!

"I've always loved that Woman! Tootsie is truly a one of a kind, a true treasure!

Danalli, I don't want to get your hopes up, but Healix has my body on life support, hoping that it will heal itself and I can be rejoined with it at some later date ... but we don't know how long it's going to take... it could take years...

It may not work at all...

Until then, I guess you're stuck with me like this!"

"Wait, what? O.k.?

What about Teri? What are we going to say to Teri? Wait I have an idea..."

Danalli summoned AlaHanDrea. It took some doing to get her to respond, and she didn't show up, she simply answered, leave me alone.

She had been in a total state of depression since George jumped her ass like he did.

That's it, I'm going to see my dad!

Danalli took off to go find George, a man on a mission...

Dad!

Yes, Danalli, George replied, sounding tired, as tho the weight of the world was becoming difficult to carry.

"Dad, I get that you need someone to blame and get angry at, but none of this was AlaHanDrea’s fault!

She told you what she did when she did it!

At that moment, guards should have been ordered around the clock for all person's royal!

AlaHanDrea did nothing wrong!!!

Yet, you jumped her as if she were to blame!

She loves Jenn, Dad!

She wasn't able to save her!

She's twisted up over that already!

To tell you truth, I'm ashamed of you for using her as your whipping post!

All she did was to try to save the life of a young prince!

How was that wrong? And... She told you AND Isabel right away!

So, you tell me just what it is she's done that's so wrong???!!!"

George stood there for a moment, then vanished.

Dad? Now, where did he go?

Probably to find AlaHanDrea, Isabel said as she walked in. I heard what you said. You weren't wrong.

George was able to go right to AlaHanDrea.

"I thought I'd find you here.

What did we agree on about this volcano, girl?"

He took her by the arms and pulled her close to him... "I am so sorry, baby girl. Please find it in your heart to forgive me. I was wrong and way out of line! I'm so ashamed of myself! Grief can cause moments of stupidity...

Because that's what that was ... absolute stupidity on my part and shame on me... oh please forgive me ... I was so wrong!"

He used his magic to take them to a more suitable place than the edge of that active volcano.

AlaHanDrea just looked up at George, face full of sadness... He brushed her hair away from her face with his fingers, then tilted her chin up and kissed her very sweetly.

He could taste her tears, but he also felt her responding to his kiss.

He became more passionate... He felt her becoming completely submissive to him and kissed her with more purpose.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and began kissing him back.

Unstoppable heat began to build between them... He suddenly wanted her more than he'd ever wanted anyone or anything!

And she wanted him!

A big double hammock appeared, making George look up and smile.

He gazed into her eyes, then set her down and began slowly undressing her until she stood naked before him.

"You are the most gorgeous woman in existence! I look at you and I'm filled with feelings of love as well as desire!

I waited so long for you to become a woman!

George used his magic to put a white, floor length gown on her, then apologized again.

Still, she said nothing.

The only response he could get was when he kissed her.

"AlaHanDrea, I never meant to hurt you like I did. Please, please forgive me...

I have to tell you something. Healix put Jenn's body on life support. He's attempting to give it time to heal and regenerate.

She hasn't crossed over. You forbid her to leave, so, she is still here. Her spirit is still here. That's why Healix is trying to save her body.

AlaHanDrea, I'm more at fault than you could ever be. You did nothing wrong! As a matter of fact, you did everything right!

I should have stepped up the guards when you told me about Prince Chance!

I was way out of line and I was wrong...

I should have done more to protect everyone. Truthfully, I never dreamed Alfred would pull a stunt like that!

Please say something..."

"Jenn and the baby are dead. It doesn't matter whose fault what is, the bottom line is still the bottom line...

Jenn and the baby are dead. Teri is minus her mother and sibling... Danalli is minus his wife and baby.

I wasn't able to get to them in time.

I've gone over it in my head time and time again, what could I have done differently...

There's only so much magic can do...

Princess Dena was so young, so brave and so beautiful and I couldn't save her! She gave her life to save Jenn, but Jenn and the baby still died..."

I know, baby girl. I know. And it really sucks...

How do we deal with the grief and guilt, George?

I really don't know, baby girl. It's tearing me up pretty badly, too.

They laid together in the hammock with George quietly singing, while AlaHanDrea gently ran her fingers across his chest, down his belly... Then realized dragons don't have belly buttons...

His singing became moans as her fingers trailed over his muscular body.

George, is it wrong for me to want you like I do, while grieving?

I sure hope not! he replied.

You don't look any older than your son's do... You are so hot!

Oh ya? Thanks... he replied with a smile.

Chapter 2

Your majesties, the new group of campers are almost here, JayDe told King George and Queen Isabel.

Thank you, JayDe. Are you any closer to solving the mystery? Isabel asked her chief of security...

I'm sorry to say that I am not. Not anything I can prove... Not just yet.

And the orphans?

"Bob has cyclops guarding Orphans Islands... The Cyclops really seem to love the children and love being their guardians...

Since we moved Orphan islands next to Tootsies realm, the children could not be safer, or in better hands!

There's just so many of them!"

Tootsie is a wonderful she dragon, as well as an awesome Queen. We are lucky to have her with us, Isabel commented. Then said, Please tell Bob, uh, Markus, that we appreciate his efforts...

Queen Tootsie, the guests are arriving. King Markus is on his way back as we speak.
