Way Beyond the Sky, Where Dragons Rule Series

The greatest gift the baby queen, Queen AlaHanDrea, gave to her creatures, was the ability to communicate, via the communication collars, or comm collars, as they were called, translating languages of every type, man and beast... to include many alien dialects. Uniting the species was not that difficult of a task, once everyone could communicate freely. New species were created from mixed marriages, usually occurring while both parties were in human state. Living in a world with a variety of magical, shapeshifting creatures was a new experience for all involved. Prior to the Ion 6 refugees arrival, as far as the dragons knew, they were the only magical, shapeshifting creatures on Taurus 9. The refugees added a multitude of giant, magical, shapeshifting creatures to the mix, shaking things up quite a bit for Drakania, as well as allowing the human sectors, commonly referred to, as the mainland, to know that shapeshifters existed. Queen AlaHanDrea was a terrifying gift that was as loved as she was feared. Even as a young girl, Queen AlaHahDrea led her loyal troops, made up of a multitude of species, into victorious battles, protecting the planet from would be invaders. It is said that the prettier the rose, the sharper the thorns. Contrary to what many believed about dragons, they preferred a peaceful existence. Humans engaging in war like activities, placed both sides in danger... risking the dragons flying over, destroying both sides. Diplomatic solutions were encouraged. In a world of carnivorous creatures and omnivores, predator and prey, certain concessions had to be made, compromises had to be reached. Dragons, having an extremely sensitive sense of smell, were able to smell the odor sin makes on a person. As a compromise, dragons tried to only consume humans stinking of sin. Food wagons made their rounds, collecting those who reeked of sin. According to the dragons, the people inside the food wagons, volunteered to be there. They knew the price of sin before they committed it! Death by dragons did a world of good at lowering crime rates in the cities. No stranger to technology, the peace loving dragons had a theory about the secret to a more peaceful existence, planet wide. Dragon kind believed that the secret to a more peaceful existence, was in keeping the women satisfied. They weren't wrong. The world was a much more pleasant place to live after the Love Academy opened its doors. Adolescent males were sent to the Academy for up to 2 years, studying every form and aspect of romance, with the help of female volunteers, mostly older, more experienced women, tended to volunteer. Everything from discovering erogenous zones, to ballroom dancing, males were taught how to please women. Males, no matter the species, seem to seek only a few things to be happy; food, sex, wealth and power and not necessarily in that order. Learning to please women, insured their ability to have all of the sex they wanted and most women will feed a man! Especially if he just rocked her world! About the planet... the name Taurus 9 was actually referring to half of the planet. Separated by an invisible border, with a neutral zone between, reaching completely around the planet, the other side was known as Gemini 9, home to the many species of giants that called the planet home.. Cyclopse, Quadis, Longis, Eugi's, Oddis and T-Thorps, the largest of all of the species of giants, just to name a few, tended to remain on their side of the planet, with occasional visits to do battle with Drakonia. Since the arrival of the Baby Queen, all of the separatism's were coming to an end! 

Coming of age isn't ever easy, but especially when being the most powerful creature ever born! Being incredibly beautiful made coming of age even more difficult. It seemed everyone was waiting for the moment Queen AlaHanDrea would finally become of age. Living in a magical world of shapeshifting creatures of many species didn't make things any easier for the young heroine! Come along on the many adventures as the young queen blossoms into womanhood, becoming the most sought after woman on Taurus 9!  Just remember, not everything is always as it seems!

Volume 1:  The story begins on a small research moon, Ion 6, orbitin Zenix 6, in the Pluron Galaxy, some 9 billion light years from the Milky Way. Gene splicing/ species blending, was the focus of research. Two lab creations, not ever meant to meet, came together to create the most powerful creature in existence! A creature made up from many species, with human at the core. Deadly, dangerous with unstoppable power, the baby queen was thought by many, to be the queen of prophecies. The birth of Queen AlaHanDrea marked the beginning of a new era for all of existence! Possessing the combined magic of many species, the creatures of Ion 6, were determined to bond with her from her birth, in an attempt to guarantee their safety. Magical, shapeshifting creatures of all species, worshipped the baby queen of their prophecies, the creature destined to unite the species against their one common enemy, the creature born to protect and defend like none before her! When it's discovered that the galaxy in which they lived was in a direct collision course with its neighboring galaxy, mass evacuations were ordered for both galaxies in an attempt to save as many lives as possible! An ancient race, the Watchers, or, Judges, as many referred to them, observed life forms, moving deserving species from doomed planets to new planetary homes where they could thrive. They had somehow managed to miss the fact that the galaxies were merging! It was the baby queen that alerted them, demanding that her and her creatures be moved first! It was decided that she be taken to the Milky Way galaxy, Taurus 9, a world of magical shapeshifting dragons that ruled the huge planet, Taurus 9 was a favorite evacuation spot of the watchers, in spite of the many dangers it possessed, it was, after all, a paradise. Taurus 9 enjoyed a perfect orbit around her central star, her sun, without a wobble that so many planets are afflicted with, causing uneven weather phenomenons and patterns. Due to her steady orbit, Taurus 9 enjoyed nearly perfect weather, year round. But, even paradise is fraught with peril, with danger lurking everywhere... Even for a creature as powerful as Queen AlaHanDrea!

In a magical world ruled by shapeshifting dragons, not everything is as it seems. Secrets are a difficult thing to keep under the best of conditions. Once revealed, lives are forever changed! The whole world is stunned to discover the truth, when an imposter is revealed. Returning from captivity isn't an easy task, not even for someone as powerful as the mighty Queen AlaHanDrea. Many of the ones she held near and dear, had some serious explaining to do when she returned home. Their behavior had been shameful, at best. Fear gripped the population as truths were revealed, truths that would test the bonds of friendship and love. The time had come for folks to answer for their deeds.

In a world of magical, shapeshifting creatures, it can be difficult to remember who the hero's are and who the villains are, with the answer often being a matter of perspective. Come alongs as the adventures continue for Queen AlaHanDrea, her friends, her creatures and the inhabitants of Taurus 9. There's never a dull moment in a magical world of shapeshifting creatures, all working to attempt to live in harmony. Some social experiments were more successful than others, but they were all positive experiences with great results... or, were they? Queen Isabel felt confident that her plan to educate the humans, allowing them to experience daily interactions in the beast communities, would be successful, aiding in the peace efforts tremendously. She wasn't entirely wrong.

Learning to accept defeat for someone who has been undefeated, ,can prove to be an almost impossible task, still, it must be done. Some battles just cannot be won, no matter how much effort is applied. Even a creature as Powerful As Queen AlaHanDrea, must learn to accept occasional defeat. No matter how big, strong, powerful or rich someone is, there is always someone bigger, stronger, richer and more powerful, somewhere, as AlaHanDrea and friends soon discover. Even a creature as mega powerful as the young queen, is vulnerable to heartbreak. Learning  to value each day, as well as the people occupying that day, is a lesson we must all learn, even shapeshifting creatures of magic! Saying good bye is rarely easy. Just as friends and family leave our lives, new ones come in, that is, if we let them. Growing up is hard no matter the species!      

 The eighth book in the ongoing series. From the projects first beginnings, I've seen the stories contained in the series, "Way Beyond the Sky, Where Dragons Rule", as being akin to a daytime television drama, aka, soap opera… sci fi/fantasy style… chronicling the life and times of one of the most powerful creature in all of creation, Queen AlaHanDrea. A world of Magic, romance and adventure awaits, as the journey continues, in this compelling new series, with Volume 10, "The Guardians of Drea".  

The journey continues. Bad magic reveals secret desires, forever changing the lives of those affected, as well as those around them. Open communication lines between Taurus 9 and Earth 8, become Earth's  salvation, when alien bases are discovered on the dark side of Earth's moon, where aliens prepare to invade the seemingly unprotected, defenseless, tiny planet. Unfortunately for the aliens, they were unaware of, and were unprepared for, The Guardians of Drea!

New friendships are forged when Queen AlaHanDrea meets Sadie, when her and her band of lady pirates board the wrong boat. Or, was it the right boat, after all? Sadie finds herself alone on the deck of the queen's yacht when the royal boys are attacked without warning. Acting purely on instinct, the battle if fought hard to save the kings sons from certain death.
