    Verdict This is a verdict.

Miracles don't happen, and even less so with her.

They say miracles happen when you believe in them.

Tiffany was skeptical of these words.

She had always been a realist.

And those tales of miraculous healing, to her, were nothing more than stories.

    She didn't want to die.

Who wants to die at 40?

And not at 80 either, but she won't find out about that.

Because, as she had planned, she won't live to 80.

    Funny.

    Planned.

As if you can plan death.

But as they say, it would be funny if it weren't so sad.

How much time does she have left?

    Only God knows.

Even doctors can't always predict how much time someone with cancer has, and Tiffany has

    cancer.

When she was in the shower, she accidentally discovered a lump in her breast.

She knew that at her age, there could be diffuse changes in the mammary glands.

    But cancer?

Tiffany didn't feel that this beast, which would soon tear her body apart with pain,

    was living inside her.

At the time of the examination, nothing hurt her.

She didn't lose weight, and the color of her face, unlike that of cancer patients, didn't

    change.

However, the results of the biopsy came back positive.

The tumor was malignant, and there were metastases in the axillary lymph node.

    Tiffany experienced shock.

Not panic, but shock that she needed to endure and decide whether to consent to the surgery

to remove her breast and lymph node.

She couldn't decide on the surgery.

But because she was afraid of losing her breast.

There wasn't much to lose, just a small size, and no one would notice any changes with her

    spectacular bust.

She feared senseless painful surgeries, radiation treatments, chemotherapy, the struggle for

a life that can't even be called a life, with the end result being death.

Wouldn't it be better to live out the remaining days of her life without the torment of medical

    intervention?

Well, I don't know, Alan said indifferently.

    It's your breast after all.

It's up to you to decide what to do with it.

Tiffany looked at her husband and was amazed at herself.

How has she lived with this infantile person for so many years?

Not even a person, an amoeba in worn out jeans with knees stretched out, who hides in her

apartment, right here on the couch, and only gets up to prepare some food, eat, go to the

bathroom, and shower twice a week.

    He didn't want to work.

Because when Tiffany pressured him into getting a job, he would get one.

But after a couple of weeks, they would ask him to resign.

Who needs a slacker who obtains a driver's license and forgets his responsibilities?

Tiffany looked into her husband's indifferent eyes and said,

I wasn't expecting any different answer.

You've never taken any responsibility, ever.

Do you understand that I'm going to die soon?

He burst out, who's going to feed your sorry self?

    You're not going to die.

Alan said just as indifferently, people like you don't die early, people like you drag

    others to the grave.

As long as I'm not dead, you'll stay alive.

How many times Tiffany tried to get rid of the leech of a husband, who latched onto her

    and lived off her?

She suddenly realized that before her death, she could do anything.

Everything she hadn't done for some reason before.

    Didn't allow herself to do.

And she decided to start today, right now.

Her first desire was to get rid of her pathetic husband.

Tiffany understood that when the illness progressed, she wouldn't be able to work anymore, and

this irritating Alan would be of no use to her.

    Get up.

Tiffany yelled and pushed her husband off the couch.

Gather your belongings and go to your mothers.

    I don't need you here.

    I want to peacefully die.

    Have you gone completely mad?

    Said Alan, getting up from
