About this ebook

Nobody's life is all peaches and cream.

My name is Maria; and I want to tell you of some of the things that I personally went through in life before I got serious about my relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I ultimately ended up being led by the Lord to create a YouTube channel and pamphlets/tracts for people to be led to the Lord because I wanted everyone--men and women--out there to know that you can survive anything this world and all the evil Satan can throw at you and still love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, and soul.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, a light that is full of a love that only God our Father can give to us, as defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

John 3:16-21 will tell you what you have to do in order to be with him when this life is over and also explain that He is your only judge for your eternal life. Nobody here on the earth can determine how your heart, mind, and soul feels about Jesus besides God. If you trust in the Lord, He will be there for you even when you don't feel Him with you because those times will be when Jesus is caring you so you make it through whatever is going on at that moment in time.

My only hope for this book is that if only one person comes to love, trust, and believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit after reading this book, then I will know it was worth pouring my deepest secrets out onto these pages.

Godspeed and bless you all!

    Introduction

Nobody’s life is all peaches and cream.

My name is Maria, and I want to tell you of some of the things that I personally went through in life before I got serious about my relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I ultimately ended up being led by the Lord to create a YouTube channel and pamphlets/tracts for people to be led to the Lord because I wanted everyone—men and women—out there to know that you can survive anything this world and all the evil Satan can throw at you and still love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, and soul.

It starts with in the beginning with Lirit, my birth mother, and Pablo, my stepdad. It then proceeds to continue with Trixie and Zander, my adoptive parents, and then my adopted sister Allie. There are other people in the book, but they are only short parts of life, so you can find out about them when it is time.

This is my life story and how I overcame the emotions of my life. I ultimately ended up writing this book so everyone can know that no matter what you have gone through or are going through, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I will not say that you will never have another panic attack or anxiety attack again and I will not say that you will not have another nightmare again because simply put, Satan does not want you to trust God now or ever! If you rebuke Satan and plead the blood of Jesus over these things, you will get through it all and come out a better person for it.

For privacy and protection, everyone will be referred to by pseudonyms, except for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirt. I do not think they will mind if I put them in the book.

My prayer is that if even just one person reads this and overcomes their demons by what will be the end chapter and come to a knowledge of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Then, I will know it was worth writing it all.

God bless you one and all!

    Chapter 1

    In the Beginning

Iwas born in the early seventies, and within a couple of weeks, I was already in foster care. Now the reason to that is sort of unknown to myself because I was only a couple of weeks old. Approximately two years later, slightly before my second birthday, I was returned to my birth mother Lirit and stepdad Pablo.

Things became awfully bad very quickly within a few days. The first real memory that I had was my sister in her bed crying and Pablo was lying next to her, trying to calm her down, or so I thought. Then, Pablo got up and came over to me and climbed in the bed. That would be the night that I lost my virginity.

Things only got worse from there. I can distinctly remember coming out of the kitchen, walking past the restroom, and Pablo summoning me to the restroom where he was sitting on the side of the tub with water running. He asked me to come in the restroom. Now as any two-year-old would do, I went to the person calling me. Gory details aside, the next thing I can tell you is that I was in the tub and the water quickly turning bright red as I sat there.

My birth mother Lirit was also not truly all there. She wanted to help other people, so with the government-assisted food money she received, she would go buy food and then give it all away. We were always hungry. It was bad enough that, at one point, my sister drank lye and was rushed to the hospital; and if that did not wake up Lirit, I ended up drinking a cup of pine sol thinking it was apple juice and then rushed to the hospital as well.

Henceforth, when Lirit and Pablo would allow my sister and I to eat, we were given exceptionally large portions of food and expected to eat it all. If we were to get sick and vomit, we were forced to eat the vomit as well.

We were often spanked by Lirit, but she did not spank us on the bottom. She would spank us between our legs. When we did something we were not supposed to do and if we ultimately stepped out of line too much, there was always the basement where there were shackles on the wall.

If we had misbehaved enough in Pablo’s eyes, we were sent to the basement and chained up. Now, we almost always went to the basement together, and we were always told not to talk to each other or make any noise. He would put us down there with no way to use the restroom
