God will come first in my life, and I owe everything to Him. Because of Him, I have found the healing within my heart. Without Gods perfect love and grace, strength I would not have made it to a place of healing.

I wanted to thank you to my family and friends that help me and gave me the space that I need to develop who God created me to be, I love you’ll.

    Chapter One: Our Heart

The heart holds great significance not only within our bodies but also in shaping our identities as human beings. The anticipation and joy that a couple experiences upon discovering they are expecting a baby is immeasurable. During the first doctor's appointment, the pregnant woman lays down so that the doctor can listen to the baby's heartbeat. If the doctor cannot hear the baby's heartbeat within the mother's womb, another ultrasound visit may be scheduled. It is truly astounding how early on in the pregnancy, around five and a half to six weeks, a doctor can detect the baby's heartbeat and determine its health.

As expressed in Psalms 139:13, God plays an active and creative role in the development of human life. He personally cares for a baby from the moment of conception and has a specific plan for each individual. This understanding highlights the intricate process of forming our inward parts within the mother's womb and God's care for the unborn, who have not yet entered the outside world. Regardless of personal beliefs, it is evident that God is the creator of every human being on this earth.

Now, let's delve deeper into the inner workings of our hearts. The heart serves as the central muscle in our circulatory system, relentlessly pumping blood throughout our bodies. This blood carries essential oxygen and nutrients to all parts of our body while getting rid of unwanted waste products like carbon dioxide. Structurally, our hearts consist of three tissue layers, namely the epicardium, myocardium, and endocardium, which are protected by the pericardium, a thin outer lining. Additionally, our hearts have four chambers: two atria and two ventricles, separated by a muscular wall known as the septum. Miraculously, our hearts are uniquely designed to pump blood through our veins effectively.

The heart's continuous pumping action, circulating approximately 8 pints of blood throughout our bodies, occurs due to a network of blood vessels. Inside our hearts, there are gates that ensure our blood flows in the proper direction. Specifically, the left side of the heart contains the aortic valve and mitral valve, while the right side holds the pulmonary valve and tricuspid valve. To maintain regular pumping, the heart relies on electrical signals that instruct the heart muscle when to contract and relax.

Blood pressure, the measurement of pressure within our arteries, plays a crucial role in how our hearts supply fresh blood to all our blood vessels. For blood to efficiently travel throughout our bodies, it must be under pressure, which relies on the combination of the heart's pumping action, the size and elasticity of our blood vessels, and the thickness of the blood itself. To ensure adequate blood supply, all four chambers of the heart must pump rhythmically and in the correct sequence. This pumping cycle consists of two phases: systole, when the heart contracts and pushes blood out of the chambers, and diastole, the period between contractions during which the heart muscle relaxes and the chambers fill with blood.

Our hearts are not only physically vital to our bodies but also hold significant meaning. When God created us, He carefully designed our bodies to function flawlessly. The heart represents our inner selves, encompassing thoughts, emotions, and decision-making capabilities. In the Bible, the term heart carries a more expansive connotation, referring to the core essence of a person. Numerous biblical references associate the heart with various aspects of human personality, including thinking processes such as understanding, imagination, and memory, as well as decision-making abilities like purpose, intention, and will.

Indeed, the heart is a creation of the living God, as affirmed in Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

    Chapter Two: Broken Heart

We see how important our heart is within our body and how its function allows blood to flow through our veins. However, a person's heart, especially that of a child, can be broken by loved ones, neighbors, friends, babysitters, and others. As we delve deeper into how the condition of our heart can impact who we are, let's start by examining a broken heart.

When a child's heart is broken at a young age, they often struggle to express their emotions, often resorting to crying. They wonder why their dad abandoned them, why their mom forsake them, why their uncle would harm them, or why their loved ones speak negatively about them. These broken hearts often begin in childhood. For example, if a child's parents pass away, they may be filled with anger towards God for taking them away, without understanding the reasons behind it. This resentment can cause the child to neglect the greatest source of life as they grow up.
