About this ebook

It is truly amazing how the operations of the human heart are so closely related to spiritual function and power in our lives. There are three main arteries that supply the heart itself with life-giving oxygen and nutrients. If either of these arteries is clogged or blocked in any way, it will not allow the heart to function to its fullest capacity. It may even cause death.

In the spirit realm, we have the Love of God that is displayed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirt. We need the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit working corporately to operate to our fullest capacity in the kingdom of God. A lack of a right understanding (clogged) or just complete ignorance (blocked) of the function of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirt will not allow you to operate to your fullest capacity in the kingdom of God. Not realizing how powerful God's love is and not understanding the roles of each person will limit all things that are possible to those who believe. Without God, we are spiritually dead!

Learn the rhythm of life and live life to the fullest.

Matthew 1:28-30 (emphasis mine) said, "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

    Introduction

It is so amazing to me how the operations of the human body are so closely related to the spiritual function and power in our lives. The heart is the most fascinating and vital part of our body. If our heart is not beating properly, everything is out of order. You don’t feel well, and you can’t function to your fullest capacity. If the heart stops beating, you’re dead!

In the spiritual realm, the heart is the love of God, and to know Him intimately, increases the understanding of who He is! Without God, life has no purpose, and without purpose, life has no meaning. Without meaning, life has no significance or hope.¹ We need the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit working cooperatively to operate to our fullest capacity in the kingdom of God. We need to know and understand the love of God. God gave us His best gift, His son Jesus, to put us back in the right relationship with Him.

We are now called sons and daughters! Then He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us into the good things He had planned for us. Any other understanding of who God is will limit all things that are possible to those who believe. Without God, we are spiritually dead!

    Chapter 1

    The Human Heart

A normal healthy heart pumps blood constantly through the circulatory system like a muscular pump, pumping (or expanding and contracting) an average of one hundred thousand times per day for a total of roughly two thousand gallons of blood. Only God can create something so awesome! However, a heart that is out of rhythm has a disturbance in the effective pumping of blood.

For instance, it can cause the heart to be too slow, too fast, or erratic, which may affect all other organs (e.g., brain, kidneys, lungs, etc.) and may even cause damage. An out-of-rhythm heart can cause a lack of oxygen in the brain. This lack of vital oxygen will often cause the patient to experience dizziness or light-headedness to the point of losing balance or even passing out.

Anything out of the normal rhythm of the heart is called dysrhythmia. It can cause the rhythm to slow down (bradycardia), speed up (tachycardia), or cause an irregular rhythm.

Your heart is like a pump or two pumps in one. The right side of your heart receives blood from the body and pumps it to the lungs. The left side of the heart does the exact opposite. It receives blood from the lungs and pumps it out to the body.

The heart is located in the center of the chest cavity just to the left of the midline of the body.

The coronary arteries: Three large coronary arteries and their many branches deliver a continuous supply of oxygenated blood to the heart. There are two left coronary arteries and one right main coronary artery. The narrowing of these arteries or any malfunction of their intended purpose causes chest pain. This malfunction or blockage can cause a heart attack or even death.

    Chapter 2

    The Spiritual Heart

According to the Bible, the ruling center of our spiritual life—the love of God—will also direct all of the operations of human life.

Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences
