Introduction

The life of a Christian is a spiritual life not a physical one. It is a life that is filled with love, peace, joy and war and this war is with persons without bodies or the kingdom of darkness. The bible teaches that the Christian life is one of constant growth. When we were born again we were born into God’s family. And it is God’s purpose that we grow to the perfect statue of Christ. In this book we are going to share with you the things that are involved in the growth of a believer and the principles, rules of engagement and how we must let our light -shine in the world. 

I have this believe that this book will minister so much to you and enlighten you with some of the critical things we must know as Christians, because this life of a believer has challenges. I have seen that Christians get discouraged when the face challenges, and not aware that this challenges come to grow us and give us the opportunity to know our God more, Let’s get to it, I hope you will enjoy this book.

Chapter 1

Why were we born here?

Life is purpose, if you miss your purpose you are lost. Many people are lost from their purpose and God is looking for them he seeks to manage and control their life however not violating their will. No man can reach destiny apart from God, look many people are making it in life apart from God I get that, but they might not be in their purpose for existence and there is a difference between what is working and the reason of existence. At the end of time many will find out that it was not because of material things or anything that seemed important. But because there is a part every one of us must play on this earthly life that will pave a way for eternal life. God has put every one of us on a test! Yes, and the first man that was tested to do his will was Adam and he failed. Angels were also put to test! Yes, look at Lucifer, he led so many angels into rebellion, many angels failed and God throw them away from his presence, for us we lost the presence of God through Adam but there was a chance for us to come back to God because we sinned in time, but for angels there was no chance for redemption because they sinned in eternity. They that seek to find themselves in God are the ones that shall rule and reign in the next coming life. It is so glorious! John said, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no sea and I John, saw the holy city New Jerusalem coming down from heaven from prepared and ready for her husband. And I heard a loud voice saying I heard a loud voice saying, Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people...He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. (Revelations 21:1-4) this verse of scripture is showing us that God wants to live with us but the thing that separates us from him is sin. Because after he destroys sin he will come with his majesty to live among us. The problem is not: God why I’m I here? Living on this earth it is an advantage for us to prove ourselves before God as worthy people to be rulers in the next coming life. Listen to what Paul said, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will ward to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8) This is how we must leave the earth. Now the problem is with us not seeking him to reveal his plan for us so that we might run to the best of our ability. When God revealed to Paul that this life is about purpose: Paul did not rest but he only wanted to please the Lord, the moment one understands this; they die from all that this life
