Brenda Cowper

Brenda Cowper was born and raised in a rural community in Illinois. She married her husband of 43 years, George, in 1968. They have two children of their own and raised her younger sister and brother from an early age. While being a wife and mother, Brenda was a school secretary for 25 years and has worked side by side with her husband in youth ministry, pastors of churches, and prison ministry. Answering God’s call at an early age to various acts of service has led her to write this inspiring book of God’s ability to use all of us for His plan and purposes.

INTRODUCTION

GOD DOESN’T ALWAYS put our life in the mold that the world thinks we belong in. Scripture tells us God uses the foolish things to confound the wise. The base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which seem of value to the world as nothing. As it is written in scripture, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord. (I Cor. 1:26-31).

This book is not intended to be a sour grapes writing on how women have been less appreciated in the role of Christian ministry. My goal is to scripturally base some personal observations and revelations I have
