    Prologue

    As the title suggests, this book is a book of blogs.  Some of these blogs are prophesies, some are for your encouragement, but they all have things in them that can advance your learning if you will let them.  Winner has been studying the Bible for more than thirty-five years, but he is still growing and learning, the Holy Spirit is his guide and teacher. 

    But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you, (John 14:26 New Living Translation).

    I’m still growing and learning, so are you.  So, if something that I have written here does not agree with your theology don’t get riled, just pray and think about it.

    January 2021

    Whatever God has called me to do will be stopped; and I would rather go anyway. Yes, God has given me a vision, one that hasn’t been started yet, but if the rapture comes first I’m all for going home to heaven and to be with Jesus, as Jesus in His body, forever.  But, even if you and only you, as in a personal rapture (remember Elijah), go and I’m still here I’m going to keep doing what God wants me to do.  So, if you are doing what Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit want you to do and suddenly I disappear, and you are still here, just keep doing right by God and don’t worry.  In Thessalonians Paul wrote about a worldwide rapture, but that does not negate individual raptures.

    The works that will accompany those who believe, recorded in Mark 16:17-18, are works of the Spirit, in other words they are works of God.  You cannot do them—where they will work—until you have received the Holy Spirit by (as we have called it) His baptism.  That is when God overwhelms you with His Spirit, you will be able to speak/pray in tongues right then.  So, if you claim to be a believer but you never do or even have done any of these things—with proper results—then you probably are not truly baptized in God’s Spirit.  If that is the case then you need this baptism.

    I have heard people say about certain scriptures, Ya know, that was not in the original manuscript. As if they knew, for sure, that it wasn’t.  The only two ways to know, for sure, that those scriptures weren’t in the original manuscript would be to have been there when the original manuscript was written (A person would have to be very, very, very old), or to pray in the name of Jesus, according to God’s will, and God Himself would tell you whether it was there or not (and I really doubt that anyone has done that because they might get such a chewing out that it wouldn’t be funny).  So, if you don’t like a scripture just find three or more scriptures to put it down; oh, but you can’t do that; can you?

    There are, at least, 366 times in the Bible where God tells us to fear not.  Fear is an enemy of faith because if you are fearful of something happening you really cannot have faith for the opposite, you need to let your faith overtake your fear and get the fear out.

    I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world, (John 16:33 New Living Translation).

    When Jesus said take heart He was saying no worries and no fears, be strong in your faith and keep going with joy.  Let’s read it like that, I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But no worries and no fears, be strong in your faith and keep going with joy, because I have overcome the world.

    God’s will is that you obey Him; remember, He is a king. He said some things through Jesus, He had Jesus do some things; Jesus began a ministry of doing and teaching (Acts 1:1) but was briefly interrupted by the crucifixion. Now He wants to continue it through you.  He wants you to do what He had written and then He will add what He says, verbally.  But, first, you must be doing what Jesus did and said.

    I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives, (John 12:24 New Living Translation).

    Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that, (Ephesus. 5:1-2 The Message).

    God heals, protects and, yes, fights for His people; He does not destroy.  In the Old Testament the devil was not mentioned after Genesis. 3, the Jews seemed to think that everything that happened to them was from God.  God warned them, through Samuel, what a human king would do (this is when the Jews clamored for a king so that they could be like other countries) and, eventually, King Saul did those things that God warned them of.  The devil is the destroyer, not God; when it is written that God was going to destroy a city, I believe that God was just going to lift His hand of protection and the devil would destroy them; and that was because of their sin.  Where it’s written that God caused plagues on Egypt, I believe it was Egypt’s actions and plagues they set on the Jews that caused them; God simply lifted His hand and let the devil do its dirty work.  It could have been that way, think and pray about it.

    God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth, (John 4:24 King James Version).

    God is not just a Spirit, there is only one that counts and that is God’s; God is the Spirit and God is Holy.  So, God must be the Holy Spirit, or let’s put it like this (because God is more than the Spirit) the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Holy God.  He wants to be on you, Jesus said,

    Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake, (John 14:11 King James Version).

    If Jesus was in the Father—in the Holy Spirit—then that means He was enveloped in Him.  So, we can be too.  And that means that His natural language (what we call other tongues) is in us too, so worship Him in tongues.

    Frustrated?  I was thinking about this and I finally told God that I am so frustrated with what I have to deal with in this old body, the great limitations it has that it didn’t have before.  This morning I read an article about focusing on His kingdom and acting in His righteousness, if I will do that then all the things that I need will come (Matthew 6:33).  God wants us to focus our attention,

    Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things, (Philippians. 4:8 King James Version).

    In other words, focus on Jesus-God’s word.  Are you ready for the rapture?

    Picture this:  You and your wife are pregnant, you’re in the delivery room when the rapture happens but you and your wife are not ready.  All of the sudden your baby is gone.  You remember, there was a guy—you thought he was a little weird—preaching the rapture.  You told him that you are a Christian (at least you call yourself a Christian) but you don’t believe what he’s saying.  Read the Left Behind novels by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, they were written in the late 1990’s to the early 2000’s but they are very good and accurate.  But forget the first 2 (the prequels) and the last one (the sequel) because they, kind of, ruin the series.

    Those who are honest in their faith in my word will take my name and drive them evil demons out of those who need it.  They will also lay their hands on sick folk, it doesn’t matter what the sickness because it’s not from me or my Father; do this and the sick will recover, whether you see it or not.  If there is a reason that you must pick up a snake—not just tempting the Lord because that’s sin—and the snake bites you it will not harm you because you belong to me/Us.  The same goes for drinking anything deadly, or eating anything deadly, it won’t harm you.  But, now this is crucial, you must wait for the baptism and the anointing in the Holy Spirit before you can do any of this; and you will also speak in new, unlearned, tongues.  However, you will not be able to do any of these works until you are baptized in the Holy Spirit.  Therefore, you must wait in Jerusalem until you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, (From Mark 16:16-19, Acts 1:3-5 Steadfast in Honor).

    Many people seem to think that the devil is dead, and how I wish that was true.  When bad things happen they use the excuse, God is in control.  They figure this because they might hear that from the pulpit and don’t pray about it, or they misread 1 John 3:8 as Jesus destroying the devil.  But, that’s not even remotely what that verse says.

    The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil, (1 John 3:8 Amplified Bible).

    Others think that it is around but that they can just resist it and it will flee.  James 4:8 tells us to resist the devil but you need to submit to God’s word so you have grounds to resist it, otherwise it won’t flee, it will just laugh in your face.

    God does have a permissive will, you might call it something else, in which He will permit things to happen to you if you will.  About 30 years ago I stood in my room and said out loud to God, God, I’ve had it with this permissive junk.  I want your perfect will in my life.  He answered, If you want My perfect will in your life you are going to have to do My perfect will for your life.  In other words I must be totally obedient to His word, whether I see the results or not.

    ------

    In order to obey God’s written word you must know and understand what He said and did.  In John 14:12 Jesus (God among us) told you that you will do as He did.  Well, to do that you must know what He did, and that means you need to read your Bible, specifically the gospels and the book of Acts, with an open heart and mind, and pray about what you read.  But, do not read them according to your denominational teaching.  Pray in tongues because with the Spirit’s language you can’t go wrong.  Then God will add His spoken directives and you do the same thing again, pray in tongues to understand what God is telling you to do.  It may well take you out of your comfort zone again but that’s not unheard of.

    How many times have you heard someone say, All thing work together for the good?  People claim that that is a direct quote from the Bible, but it is only a participle, it is not right; it’s a false claim used to appease, used as an excuse.  It was taken from the King James Version quote of Romans 8:28 which says,

    And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

    The And means that this verse adds on to the verse/verses before it; those verses are talking about prayer.  So, that verse is talking about prayer things.  Besides that, if it was talking about all things in general then that would include the things of the evil one; I don’t recall Husaine, Ben Laden, Obama, … working for God, do you?  So, if they want to give a direct quote from the Bible they should first; know what it’s talking about; second, read it out loud; and third, be prepared to give the scripture reference where they got it.

    ?Kids, you are born of God if you truly believe and obey the teachings of Jesus the Christ.  Everyone who truly loves God, the Father, will love the Son and all His creation as well.

    "Reality check: when someone says that they love God you should be able to expect that person to love all of those people that God created, not just fellow believers.  Also, do they honor God by keeping his commandments, which are easy and not grievous.

    Now, we, who are born of God, have overcome the schemes of the world because of our pure faith and trust that Jesus will never steer us wrong, He loves us. (1 John 5:1-5 Steadfast in Honor).

    (as it is written [in Scripture], I have made you a father of many nations) in the sight of Him in whom he believed, that is, God who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. (Romans 4:17 Amplified Bible).

    As I was telling a friend, if you believe someone strongly enough—believe in that one, you are going to do what he does.  Abram believed strongly enough to do what God did, so he began calling things into being, led by God of course.  We disciples who believe strongly enough are meant to do the same, call things into being that don’t exist yet, led by God of course.  That’s called speaking of the solution while the problem is so prevalent. Some people will think you’re crazy for doing so but you will be rewarded in time.

    Kids, we, who are born of God, do not continue to live in and practice sin.  Jesus is our means of keeping sinfulness from taking us over.  Those who are born of God are God's. Those who are not born of God still belong to the deceiver.  The deceiver lives to keep everyone in the dark; but Jesus, the Son of God, came so that we can see the light and understand the truth—the truth that is Jesus the Christ Himself, in whom we now live. And so heed this urgent request; Keep watch and stay away for falseness, (1 John 5:18-21 Steadfast in Honor).

    We all should be praying for our president and his cabinet (1 Timothy 2:1-2).  Pray that they will listen to those who speak for the One who is in authority over all and that they will make the positive change to join the family of God.  Then they will fight for America and against the junk of the devil.

    First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  (1 Timothy 2:1-2 Amplified Bible).

    I know what is going on, but I also know that true Godly pray, together with proper action, works great results.

    Whatever is going on in the world, whatever the government is doing; none of that should govern what you say.  Have you prayed according to God’s word about our government?  If you have, then your words should be governed according to God’s word that you just prayed.  Indeed, what you say about anything should be governed by God’s word.  Romans 4:17 tells us that Abram did like Him whom he believed, so he called things that were not as though they were, after he prayed of course.  If you don’t pray and get God’s word on the subject don’t speak of it.

    This morning I was dreaming and I saw myself introduced in a church to give a prophecy.  When I woke up all I could remember was what the prophecy was about, not the exact words. What it said was: The Son of God is about to return and we who truly believe will go home with Him.  Then He will utterly wipe out the evil one and his hoard.  Now, that is not word for word what I said in the prophecy but that is the gist of it.

    Did you pray about the negative situation according to God’s word?  Did you pray, and are you interceding, for our president and his carbonate according to God’s will?  Then your speech—what you say about them—should be according to what you have prayed.  If you prayed according to God’s will but your speaking is not according to what you prayed, then you have just negated your prayer and you need to repent and get back on track.  Don’t let circumstances govern how you pray or speak, let the word and the will of God govern your prayer and speech, His word and His will are the same.

    ------

    Experience is not the teacher.  Indeed, experience is, or can be, only a springboard to studying and listening to the teacher, the Holy Spirit (John 16:13); He authored the Bible.  Experience can also be putting what He has taught you into practice, making it clear to you that what He said is the truth.  That is why I don’t like to speak about what I had said that caused my bad experience, it would not teach you anything; in fact, you might decide to test what I said and it might happen to you the way it did me.  Then I might lose a friend.

    ------

    You know, some people still don’t believe in calling things that are not as though they are.  Well, why do you call your dog?  Isn’t the reason because he is not there and you want him to be there?  The only difference is that when doing it according to God’s word you had better pray first and see if it’s something that is right with God.  And then you need to use patience and continue with your confession until it comes.  Do this with the right attitude and it’s yours.
