A quote from the book { Chapter One : Abominable Things A Minister of God Should Not Do }
''Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.'' Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is the greatest institution of God on earth, it is imperative that every minister of God should hold marriage in high esteem .God does not want us to pursue ministry at the expense of marriage , nor should we forsake our spouse for the sake of ministry .
Every minister of God should give the highest honour of priority to God first ,then marriage second . We serve the Lord better in an environment of marriage , in the company of our spouse. This is important to note , that is why we need to take heed to handle our marriage in the midst of ministry .
The word of God admonished the priest to get married , ''13And he shall take a wife in her virginity. 14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.'' Leviticus 21:13 -14
In another verse , scriptures give qualifications for the man of God ,and one of them is marriage . ''A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife,'' 1 Timothy 3:2 In the light of these scriptures , we notice that it is important that every minister of God should get married .' A quote from the book { Chapter Four : Marriage And Ministry }

Abominable Things A Minister of God Should Not Do
'' But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. '' 1 Timothy 3:15
A minister of God is expected to have the highest level of moral standard , therefore there are etiquettes that must be observed by the man or woman of God . These are behavioral qualities that must be observed in the ministry by the minister of the gospel .Any man or woman of God must adhere to such conducts that are in sink with his highest calling as a minister of the gospel .
Any man of God must know how to behave himself in the house of God , in the presence of God , in the midst of the congregation , and in the public . The are somethings that are abominable for any minister of God to do and the following are the various bad conducts that are destroying the work of God , making many ministers fall down from the grace of God , and bringing shame to the name of the Lord .
''For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.'' Romans 2:24 In order to preserve the good name of the Lord Almighty , we must overcome all the misconducts that destroys the work of God .
1. Avoid Kissing in public
In as much as kissing is good , to express love and passion ; in some cultures like Africa , it is not really befitting for a man or woman of God to be seen kissing publicly either the spouse or anyone else . One is free to kiss a wife or husband in public , and it is not sinful in any way , yet for the man of God it is not appealing to just be kissing , romancing , passionately in public in the glare of the people watching . A pastor can give a peck to a spouse , but not really kissing so passionately , to create a romantic scene like a Hollywood star in public .
2. Avoid Playing romance in public
The minister of the gospel must avoid any romantic or erotic display in the public , where on-lookers are attracted to the scene . This demeans the healthy image of a preacher , it might not be sinful to play romance with your spouse , yet it is not proper and befitting for a minister of God to do in public . Somethings are of worldly origin ,it is not the characteristics of the child of God to emulate a worldly lifestyle , custom or way of doing things .
