About this ebook

Going through the Scriptures, it is a clear teaching that majority of those who had problem with their leaders did so as a result of familiarity. It is not evil or wrong to get close to a leader or even serve them. However, how we handle such closeness rightly or wrongly is the reason why some succeed or why others failed.

The purpose of this book is to help the reader to know what to avoid and how to keep safe in relating to a leader, and authority at any level. The practicality of the points discussed will help any mind who is ready to learn.

    INTRODUCTION

S everal times before I gave my life to Christ I have been hearing people using the common idiom to correct someone especially when they behaved rudely or insult an elderly person. It says Equality is not the same as equity. It simply means, if a child does have many new clothes like an elderly person, he cannot have enough old clothe like an e lder.

When we are to interpret this in reference to relational behaviour between leaders and followers, Pastors and members, then one will see that it is a common problem that has put a lot of people under total blindness through the deceptive influence of the spirit of familiarity. Most times, people who ended up as rebel may not intends it at first, but as a result of familiarities, they turn out to start fighting and scattering what they had joined

In this book, I have tried as much as possible to simplify the meaning, and the danger of familiarity.

    INTRODUCTION

I was on my face before the Lord one faithful day when He spoke into my heart some key words which I quickly got up to write down. I was in kind of dialogue in my spirit with the Lord during which my heart bled as the clarity of the message dawn on me. I found many young and upcoming ministers had actually laboured in the work of the kingdom of God and when they are so close to having good result, they become impatient and before you know it, they have entered into error. I pray that you will never be a victim of the spirit of error

Instead of harvest, many had ended up living under curses and spell. Then everything become hard and it appear they do not know how to do anything right again. It was while meditating on this that the Lord spoke into my heart, "Daughter, a lot of children put too much attention trying to avoid attack from the spirit of fornication, adultery, anger etc. Yet many of them forget that there are other deadly strategies of the devil against the saints in the end time. Such deceptive innovations includes; Familiarity, Hypocrisy, Ego,
