The following are the various ways and means to define and describe who or what a demon is .

 1. They are spirits 

Demons are spirits , this means they operate in the metaphysical world ; the rheam of the spiritual . They are unseen and typically spiritual in nature . All their works are done in the dark and spiritual world , but they have physical repercussions or manifestations .  

2. The are unseen 

Demons are unseen , you cannot see them with the physical eye , yet they are real and extremely diabolical in nature . Demonic presence can only be felt where there is so much evil activities going on , that in essence is bad and unexpected to happen . It is the place where wickedness is been perpetuated physically , but spiritually these unseen demons are at work behind the scenes to make those bad things transpire . 

3. They dwell in every place 

Demons are in almost every place except heaven , even in the church auditorium there are religious demons there , although God is there . Every where human beings , animals , plants , sand , rocks , water and the like are, demons could be present , although God is also present , demons too are there . 

4. They use bodies for expressions 

Demons do have all the human expressions like talking , singing , laughter, happiness, crying , sadness,  ,shouting etc . Yet they cannot show off that expression to the physical unless the demon spirit uses the bodies of human , animals or inanimate materials .

Demons are real , those show expression in the physical life through so many mediums . The demons use people , animals , air , materials etc. to operate . Chapter One :

Introduction To Demons

1. They are spirits

Liquefied element like water  can be used by demons to show their expressions . Demons can use water to destroy things , or kill people . Demons can possess water , especially if the demon was invoked into the water by divination , incantation , or spell . For instance a demonic person can cast a spell on water and such a water can become demonized to the extent that it can become a poison if one drinks it . Such a poison is not a physical substance , but rather a demon of poison .

6. They use solid element

Demons use solid elements such as rocks , wood , stones, sands, bodies etc. to show expression . In other words they possess and use these solid mediums to operate against human beings . A demon can enter a stone on the road side so that if you accidentally stumble on it your leg might develop a bruise and incurable wound .In another instance a demon can enter into the engine of your car , so that it will destroy the car or impair the speed of the car or even cause an accident . A demon can enter a car tire and deflate the tire in the middle of the high way , just to cause a demonic accident .

7. They use gaseous element

Demons can also use the form of gas substances like air , wind , nitrogen etc. This means a demonic air can pass to you with the presence of a demon to attack you , when the air enters your nostrils or the wind blows over your skin a demon of destruction , like sickness can enter your body and attack you on purpose to destroy you with sickness.

8. They are fallen angels

Demons are the fallen angels that fell down from heaven , when satan was cast out of heaven . They were changed into demonic nature when they started doing evil against God . '' And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. '' Revelation 12:9

This means they possess angelic quality , which is their originality ,  that is their spirit nature . However , they possess the diabolical nature of the devil , that is why they are called evil spirits . '' And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. '' Jude 1:6

This means that they are condemned to go to hell fire , the scripture declares that they will be chained in hell fire at the last day of judgement . But for now those demons are loosed and are on rampage looking for human beings to victimized and brutalized their destiny .

9. Demons are mobile

Demons are very mobile , even more than human beings , they move faster and swifter , to even farther places than human beings can even imagine . Demons go to places without barriers , delays , struggle ,hustle and bustle . The difference is  all their movements are spiritual and unrestricted by obstacles accept prayer .  The only place their movement could be restricted is in a spiritual environmental  of prayer ; where people of God are praying in sincerity and purity .

10. They are not limited by distance

Demons are not limited by distance , they can be in Ghana ,and at the same time operate against someone in America , through demonic arrows , swift movement or  demons on errand .They can pass through walls , doors without doorways , enter closed rooms without using open doors , They can
