Mary: Is there a devil or Satan or one spirit who controls all the other evil spirits?

Yes well there are a lot of answers I'd like to give about that question and perhaps what we need to do is have a different question related to the Bible and Christian religion and other religions that answer this question, but I feel that it's important to answer this question in the context of spirits, in the context of this frequently asked questions’ series.

Firstly, no there is no devil or Satan that controls the other dark or evil spirits in the spirit world. I have spent two thousand years in the spirit world, pretty close to, and in that entire time I've never seen the devil or a Satan, the ruler of the demons, and in fact no such being exists. It's impossible in fact for such a being to exist for many, many reasons as many people find out once they enter the spirit world; there are many reasons why such a devil cannot exist. So rather than going through all of those reasons, if we just state categorically, No, there is no such thing as a being who is a mastermind of all the demons or all the spirits who are dark in the spirit world. However, I need to say this quite clearly.

There are many people who have lived on earth and who have passed into the spirit world that are in such unimaginably terrible conditions and in such a terrible state of rage and their physical form is in such a terrible condition that the average person if they saw them would believe them to be a devil or believe them to be a demon, and they have only malicious thoughts: they have very little other thoughts at all other than to do malicious damage to other people, both people who are in the spirit world and also people who are on earth; and they are very strongly motivated to do so through their own personal motivations; and many of them do team up together in order to do certain things to people on earth and also to control certain events and things that go on on earth.

So while there is no Satan, so there is no devil who controls the rest of the dark spirits, the truth is that there are very, very many very dark and malicious spirits - who the average person would consider to be worse than the devil - whom you can meet in the spirit world and I have met many tens of thousands of such people and in fact many millions of such people exist in the spirit world.

It is very difficult to help them because of their desire for malicious acts and evil doing and it is very difficult to help them until they reach a point of exhaustion where they have exhausted all of their energy, their rage, and have gotten to the point where they can somehow listen or see what they are actually doing, and then it's possible to actually help these people to progress out of that condition and into a different condition.

So not only is there no Satan or devil, there is also no fixed condition in the spirit world, so those people who are - currently you could call devils, or currently you could call demons - those particular people can be redeemed and get out of their current condition if they make certain personal choices which are different to their current choices. So it's very important for people to realise that there are very, very malicious people who exist but there is no mastermind of all of these malicious people.

2. Who or what are demons?

Mary: Who or what are demons?

Well demons are people who have lived on earth who - have through their choices and desires of the things that they chose to do on earth - have done very many damaging and evil things while on earth, through their choices, and then when they've passed into the spirit world, they have continued on their damaging way. So they are continuing evil doing, they continue to be malicious, they continue to be extremely damaging to both themselves and to other people, and as a result there are some, in scriptures in the Bible for example and some religions that classify them as demons.

They are not fallen angels. In fact there is no Satan or devil who is a fallen angel and there is no demon who is a fallen angel, and in fact, once you become an angel it's impossible to fall actually. And I say impossible because your will is always in harmony with the love that exists within your soul and as a result of that the love drives every action and so it's impossible to become a demon after you've been an angel. And so God never created any unique beings that have free will other than the human being.
