He's been a Jurisdictional Bishop for 34 years, served 2 terms with the National Trustee Board and the National Judiciary Board and elected to the Presidium of the International Church Of God In Christ. July 2014, Bishop Wells was presented an earned Doctor of Theology Degree from Midwest Theological University. He has received various civic and social community awards, such as the Muskegon County Bar Association, Muskegon Economic Growth Alliance and was the 1st recipient of the Rev Dr. Donald B. Adkins Leadership Award for Religion."

Iam dedicating this book to the following persons whom I feel have played such a vital part in my life and to whom I believe without their assistance I would not have achieved my goals.

Firstly, to my parents the Late Bishop Nathaniel Wells, Sr. and my mother, Mildred C. Wells, who set a pattern for me, by living a God Fearing life before me, being patient, loving, and understanding. For assisting and supporting Maryann and me in the early stages of our marriage: For building and establishing for me and the Saints in Western Michigan Jurisdiction a great image for which the Churches of God In Christ in this geographical area were built upon.

To a loving, faithful, and dedicated wife who has made her life's goal the rearing and nurturing of our five children and four grandchildren, and without question her quiet, but constant love, and support of her husband.

To the sainted memory of our fallen leader, the late Bishop J. 0. Patterson, for the pattern and standard that he left to the Church of God In Christ.

To our Presiding Prelate, Bishop L. H. Ford, who saw in me things that no others had seen, and pulled me from the lower rung of the ladder to the highest class of leadership that the Church of God In Christ has to give, the office of Jurisdictional Bishop. Also for embracing me as a real son; by showing his concern through correction, words of encouragement, and wisdom. May God continue to preserve and keep our spiritual leader to continue to guide our great church to higher heights and deeper depths as we approach the 21st century.

Introduction

The Church of God In Christ is a Pentecostal Church that embraces the Holiness doctrine. This being our denominational trait, we are strict believers in what the scripture says, particularly concerning Satan, demons, and evil. We use the Bible in our defense of what we believe about the unholy spirit opposing God, Christ, and the Church. This being the case we do not adhere to doctrine, theory, philosophy or teachings that are not interpreted in the light of biblical interpretations. We feel the scriptures give us the best account of who Satan is, where he came from, his demons and all the activities of evil perpetrated by him. The Bible is our book on all types of demonology and works of the devil in this world.

We, as members of the Church of God In Christ, do have a historical account of our founder, Bishop C. H. Mason, he was an Apostle and Evangelist who often used the words of the Angel, Michael, Satan the Lord rebuke thee, Jude 1:9 and the promise to believers In my name, they shall cast out devils." Mark 16:14.
