In our ‘Parables of Jesus’ article last month, we noted that in one chapter Matthew gathers together seven parables of Jesus about the Kingdom of heaven. Matthew 13 is a “parable instruction manual” as it contains the two parables that Jesus also provides explanations for. This month we consider one of them – the wheat and the tares.
