About this ebook

We have a significant controversy raging on our planet around what is being described as 'Climate Change' and how we humans are supposedly the cause of it. In fact, many scientists have stated that there isn't evidence of a planet warming up dangerously, and on the opposite side, with full support of the media in all its forms insisting there is a climate problem. This is why I have called this book – The Great Climate Controversy. What will be discovered is that there is another power behind the agenda, and I hope to enlighten you in that regard.

What is the meaning of "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

We are witnessing the exponential growth of disasters both locally, nationally, and internationally. What is going on? Why are these disasters getting worse and more frequent? Is Matthew 24 seeing its greatest fulfilment? Are 'God's' people singing and dancing with the crowd or are we standing apart ready to explain to the rest of society what is going on.

The Great Climate Controversy - Louis King

    Introduction

This published version of my ‘Climate Change’ research is directed at those that have professed to serve God by making it known publicly that they have decided to follow Jesus.

We have a significant controversy raging on our planet around what is being described as ‘Climate Change’ and how we humans are supposedly the cause of it. In fact, many scientists have stated that there isn’t evidence of a planet warming up dangerously, and on the opposite side, with full support of the media in all its forms insisting there is a climate problem. This is why I have entitled this book – The Great Climate Controversy. What will be discovered is that there is a power behind the agenda, and I hope to enlighten you in that regard.

Here is my question, what does Jesus mean by this following verse?

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

You may be asking how is it possible that God is saying that His people need to turn from their wicked ways? What are those wicked ways? What is happening to the land?

We are witnessing the exponential growth of disasters both locally, nationally, and internationally. What is going on? Why are these disasters getting worse and more frequent? Is Matthew 24 seeing its greatest fulfilment? Are ‘God’s’ people singing and dancing with the crowd or are we standing apart ready to explain to the rest of society what is going on.

Are we perhaps as impotent as the rest of the world about the truth of the apparent decline of our weather, the seemingly inevitable demise of our planet and do not understand, just as the unbelievers in Jesus Christ, the real reasons of these catastrophes unfolding all around us? Do we have wolves in sheep clothing that have invaded the churches and that are bringing sweeping changes amongst the flocks?

I will be talking tough with this version of my book because I am challenging the ‘converted’ to open their eyes to the true reasons behind the problem of what is being described as climate change. I am asking that all ‘God’s people, those who have decided to give their lives to Christ, who have professed to be a follower of Christ, (Christian) to prayerfully examine the contents of this book, for their individual soul salvation, the souls of their families, friends, and work colleagues, and not to rely on what the Preacher in the pulpit, or teacher, or book Author says, because many of you that read this book, may decide to challenge your Preachers etc, to question what you will find in this book. My advice to you on that is to follow the guidance given to you by the Author of all truth, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as cautioned in His word, the Bible.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

"Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of? Isaiah 2:22

Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help. Psalms 146:3

    "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure." Philippians 2:10-13

Dear reader, when your name comes before the Judge of heaven, your Pastor cannot pay the price for your life and cannot be pardoned for your sins, only you can. We will all stand before our Righteous Judge as if we were the only person on the planet, do you understand that? If you were taken to an earthly court, you are the one that faces the judge so why is our eternal God any different?

Who are the players that are using climate change or other events to manipulate our global society and why? How long have the players been working at their plan? What you need to be aware of is that on many occasions what you see in the media is quite often not what it seems. When you discover truth, what will you do with it? Embrace it and live by it or ignore it?

You are about to embark on an amazing journey.

My aim with this short work is to enable you, the reader, to unearth the truth about climate change and where it is heading.

Mass animal deaths of all types of creatures both on land and sea confirm something is horribly wrong with planet earth. The constant bombardment of our senses from proponents of ‘Anthropogenic’ (human induced climate change, a newly invented word?) climate change via the mass media, all forebodings of the end of the world. Movies abound spreading the idea that we humans are the ones who are causing climate change, are in control and can prevent the downward spiral to disaster. But can we really?

We are witnessing increasing demands from the public for legislation to be enacted to combat ‘climate change’ but what is the real truth behind ‘climate change’? You may have begun reading this book because you picked it for yourself or from a recommendation or gift from a friend, family member, neighbour or work colleague. Keep reading.

There was indeed a planet wide climate change event several thousand years ago that is touched on very briefly later in this book, and events are shaping up to more climate change events as we approach the doomsday scenarios that many are alluding to.

We, as Christians, are facing an incredible enemy described in the book of Ephesians 6:12, as for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We are being assailed as Jesus Himself described Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. John 12:31. My goal is to help any and everyone that wants to understand the true picture and provide you with information to fight back, for your soul, the souls of your relatives, friends and work colleagues. I also want to shed light on the meaning of this next verse, again, from the lips of Jesus Himself; And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Thank you for your patience and diligent study of the contents of this book. May the Lord bless you as you navigate its pages.

    The problem with Christianity

Why are we witnessing so much corruption in the world lately? Have God’s people lost their voices? Are they afraid to speak out? Have their lost their purpose in this earth?

Jesus made a number of very deep statements that we should remind ourselves of.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16.

Have we lost our influence in the world because of our own carelessness? Have we become good for nothings? Are we being trodden under the feet of wicked men and women because we have lost our ‘salt,’ savour (purpose), in the world?

It’s high time for us to wake up, to be a lighted candle set up on a hill where it can be seen by everyone, to give them the opportunity to turn from their wicked ways. This world cannot and will not continue in sin forever.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17.

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Matthew 25:6.

Take a good look around you, Jesus has to be coming soon and we need to be ready.

Jesus wants everyone to have an equal opportunity to choose eternal life. ‘Perish’ in John 3:16 means to die forever. If we die in Christ we all have the opportunity to be resurrected and join Him in His everlasting Kingdom.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

So why are we so afraid of sharing this wonderful news with everyone around us? Are we afraid to stand out from the crowd? How is it that we are able to share the whereabouts of a great restaurant, a great holiday destination, discuss the latest technology and yet afraid to share the greatest of all news with our friends, neighbours, work colleagues? Are we afraid of a world that has gone, PC, Political Correctness mad?

Have a good look at the crowds at a sporting event, whether football, rugby, cricket etc when a goal is scored, a try achieved, the huge roars of ‘ggooooaaallll’. Where are the cheers going up for the greatest event to come?

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14

What is so great about this gospel, good news, message?

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.   John 14:1-3.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

Isn’t that the greatest ever news? Shouldn’t we be more delighted than the millions that stream into stadiums around the world paying money to adore their idols scoring goals, trys, runs etc? or have we capitulated to the maddened crowds? How many of us ‘Christians’ go to church on Sunday mornings and then hurry to join those same crowds in the stadiums or going shopping whether it is Saturdya or Sunday?

Everybody wants some happiness in their lives. Those sporting highs are only temporary, what you have to share is worth much much more than those events.

It’s time we awoke from our slumbering because the rumblings of Jesus’ return are becoming louder and louder, can’t you hear them?

Many of our Christian brethren are buying into the climate agenda. Why are they doing that? Is it because they are not studying the word of God so that they can be aware of the truth? Have we become too PC, Politically Correct? Are we trying to please the crowds?

What should we be doing? Searching out and sharing the truth and getting the world ready for Jesus return.

    The Bereans

Why have I brought up the Bereans?

They were a group of people that checked everything they heard to confirm if it was true.

And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming [thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.  Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. Acts 17:10-12.

In other words they were willing to listen, but checked if what they were hearing or reading was correct.

What are we cautioned to do?

This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:  That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. 2 Peter 3:1-4.

Why does Peter describe some people as scoffers? Who are those scoffers? Could they be those who once knew the truth and still attend church and profess to be Christians, or those that do not want to know the truth? I suggest to you that there are both types in the world.

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:8-9.

What do these verses mean? There are professed Christians that say get words with their mouths but do not teach the truth. This is quite a puzzle. How will we know what is truth and what is commandments of men. Could commandments of men be the traditions of men that are placed above God’s instructions?

Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.  But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? Matthew 15:1-3

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."  2 Timothy 3:5, 7-8, 16-17.

Why do we need to be like the Bereans? So that we can establish the truth and live accordingly.

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Psalm 25:5

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. Psalm 33:4
