    THE HANDBOOK ON

    CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP

In order to be a Christian leader that person must first be a Christian. That means that the person must have repented of their sins and received Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11.

Years ago people used to say it doesn’t matter which church you go to. But today I can tell you that it does matter, it could cost you your life.

    HIRELINGS IN THE CHURCH

    (SECTION ONE)

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. John 10: 12-13

In this handbook I am using the word hireling for people in church leadership positions whom GOD never called to be leaders in HIS church. These people have not repented of their sins, they have not asked Christ for forgiveness, they have not given their life to Christ, and therefore they are not recipients of salvation. These people see the church as a place to make them rich. Then there are those who started out right, are called of GOD to be leaders in HIS church, but through seduction and deception have gone to the dark side-the world’s religious system. Most of them are so deceived they do not realize it. They just make excuses and keep going.

Hirelings have organized their churches for social or political reasons, as well as a way for them to get paid. One reason why these things happen in churches is because too many people in church leadership were never called to be leaders in GOD’s house by GOD. These kind of leaders put entire congregations at risk. I have personally seen that kind of leader in GOD’s house at work. Many hirelings build beautiful edifices, they eat in the best restaurants, they wear the best clothes, they wear the best jewelry, and they wear the best shoes. However with all of their wonderful things the people who are members of their churches live lives that are a spiritual wreck (but they have nice pews). A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matthew 7:18. When I speak to their congregants about the Bible most of them are of the opinion that there are loop holes in the Bible, that the Bible is a good story but not to be taken
