I was content with my life. Sure, some people might call it lonely. But for me, living on my own and not expending any excess energy in the rat race of dating was in many ways liberating. I could indulge myself in all of my preferred hobbies and when it came to release, honestly, who knows best how to do it for me? Not that I'd turn down company, but I've just learned to enjoy myself.

Of course...that's usually the advice given to single people. Learn to love to be with yourself and then you'll find someone.
