It’s the Same Blood - Rebecca L Porreco
CHAPTER 1
The Lord gave me the title to this book because we are saved by the same blood and no one’s salvation is greater than anyone else’s, meaning from those in ministry as an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor and/or a teacher, the salvation of many is your first priority and this scripture in Proverbs 11:30 declares, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise
.
God desires heaven be full of souls and the same blood that saved you is the same blood that saved me. It says in 1 Timothy 2:3-5, For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who would have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. We must as disciples and ministers of the gospel, welcome all into the Kingdom of God, not deciding of our own minds who we think.
God chooses who He will use, but at the same time, as you make yourself available to Him, then He will give you that much more responsibility showing you are faithful. Remembering Luke 12:47-49, To whom much is given, much is required
. This information is made privy only to those who will pursue and agree with the Holy Spirit, going deeper and desiring these things that only He can reveal for the furtherance of His Kingdom. Much of what we learn is the beginning of knowing the definition of servanthood is to know what humility truly means.
Humility is not a weakness; it is an attribute of Christ of necessary learning to graduate to the next level. James 4:10, Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up
. It seems we have forgotten this in the modern church.
Those who want to understand what is necessary to bring spiritual insight and freedom to many who are in the place of darkness and despair, desperately in need of the word of truth and to give them the answers to set them free, where their spirit man has cried out for the spiritual freedom of John 8:36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed
. This will help them come out of where the enemy has kept them blind and bound for a long time. You can see it in their eyes, and you can see it in their faces, if you have been given spiritual vision and discerning.
It’s a gift given by the Holy Spirit to see in the spirit what has not been made known to everyone. Bringing these into the Kingdom of God must be with gentleness and kindness, so as not to bring fear in what is yet unknown to them.
Yet a skilled and guided hand with knowledge will show them it is the blood of Jesus that sets one’s soul free and the darkness that was there begins to dissipate as light enters in. This can only be done by the Holy Spirit, it is not the power of we, it is the power of God who sets a man/woman soul free. We cannot do this on our own.
It is an amazing transformation to see as light is made known, darkness must go!
You can even hear someone crying in the spirit if you are listening or even as you pass by them and they have not even said a word, but the Spirit knows the inner man. He will make you aware and give you instruction to go back to that one, begin to pray for them, or help them as needed, until they are ready to take the next step of the freedom, they have been asking God for. Do not be overzealous in making a name for yourself in this, it is the Lord who should be glorified.
As you become a trusted vessel and it is time to set the captives free who desire it! Be responsible in how you pray for those struggling, and to give them the same hope you have been given. These are all gifts from the Holy Spirit to be helpers not hinderers in any capacity, because they have gifts within them yet to be discovered.
John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free".
John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed".
These two scriptures, when heard and then spoken to people who have been lied to by the enemy of their minds for years, who need this truth for freedom. Some thinking only suicide or death will give them the relief they have been seeking from the wrong sources, is not the answer, but the word of God is. This is why it is important as disciples to know the word to be able to give to someone who may not know the way to freedom yet. Each one is a soul that He desires for the Kingdom.
We cannot lord over anyone and call that ministry, we must ask the Lord to perfect our gifts and then be those who God will use to assist others out of what is keeping them in darkness. There could be a myriad of reasons for the darkness, but it is a tool the enemy uses against those who have become desperate in life which makes them hopeless, not knowing the voice of God and not having the understanding from the word of God which will help them become who God has intended them to be all along. I am sure many of understand what that means, yet He did not forget us. I am walking in this freedom every day because I believe what the word says, and I know the One written by the apostles and prophets as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the Old and the New Testaments.
Just as I am writing right now, it is the inspiration of the Spirit of God, by which I write because I had no formal background or training to
