About this ebook

The greatest and most valuable benefit of prayer is that we can draw near to God and learn from him. In this book, it shows us that we need to reserve more time to pray and meditate. When I pray the Lords prayer, I often wonder, how is our Fathers will done in heaven? In this book, we learn no matter where we are or what we are struggling with in life, God is always with us to bless and comfort us. Our Heavenly Father is with us in every difficult time and trial. In this book, we learn how God watches over us, comforts us, and loves us with an everlasting love that never fails.

This book helps us to hear, to receive, and to respond because it lays us open to unforeseen conclusions. True spiritual transformation can happen when we allow the word of God to address us rather than us trying to control it and its effect on us.

Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isa. 41:10, NIV).

The key to understanding lifes storms is in your private meditation with the Lord. Ask him to give you understanding that you may apply it to your heart.

And this I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment (Phil. 1:9).

Put what you have into his hands, and he will make it valuable.

Prayer is intended for spiritual communication and for requesting things from God. It provides spiritual fellowship and communion. God tells us to ask him for what we need. We are encouraged to make our requests to the father in Jesuss name.

Dr. Clarence V. Sanders

This book shows you how to tap into the mystery of our Christ-centered faith. God’s Holy Spirit is ready to show you, lead you, and reveal God’s truths and his will for your life. As you open your heart to him, listen for that still small voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to you and showing you the way. He teaches us to carry the word of God in our hearts and allows it to bring about the necessary change that God wants for your life. The Bible says in James 4:8, “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.” When we make ourselves available to God, he is eager to pour out his wisdom and blessings. He says in his word, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jer. 1:5, NRSV). God knows each of us and claims us in love. This book intent is to encourage us to clear a space for Christ in prayer each day.

    About the Author

To those who deserve the utmost thanks, people who have lived through the mortal failures described in this book and who have shared with me their trust and openness. Because of their candor and courage, we can learn from them, their stories, and their experiences over the past few years while I pastored them. Glory and thanks be to God.

    Preface

True spirituality is the quality of life in a child of God that satisfies and glorifies the Father. The object of this book is to reveal God’s provision in helping us to live an overcoming life through our prayers. It is my prayer that this book and the facts and forces of this spiritual life will be helpful to those who are called upon to manifest Christ to a dying world in hopes of hearing the Master say, Well done.

    Acknowledgments
