THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD CALLS

I pray that you are good where you are, in what you are doing, and who you are being. I’ve been pondering a certain scripture that God laid my eyes upon. The scripture is Acts 11:16, Then I thought of the Lord’s words when he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ It was so important and detrimental to Christ that we all be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Christ also told us in John to pray for the Holy Spirit from the Father and He would give it to those who asked. In Luke 11:13, Christ called it a Gift; So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him."

Remember the woman at the well? In conversation with her, Christ told her that if she knew the gift that He had for her, she would be asking Him for living water. In John 7:39, it says When he said living water, he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.

Why hadn’t the Spirit been given yet? It says it’s because Christ hadn’t died yet. Why did Christ have to die first? He had to die first because it was His Spirit that you would be given as a believer. His Spirit was the Gift of the Holy Spirit. And it wasn’t just about being given His Spirit for salvation, redemption, and renewal but there was power to be given as well. The scriptures say that Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. As we have the Spirit of Christ, so shouldn’t we have the Holy Spirit’s power? Christ said himself, in Luke 10:19, Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them.

I write all this to say, You must live for the Spirit that Christ has given you of Himself. He wanted you to have it. It is a Gift. If you aren’t witnessing this Gift of Power in your life, pray and ask the Father for what may be hindering or lacking. If you are a Christian, a follower of Christ, and you believe and know this with all your heart, then you have this Gift. Christ said it and so it must be true. So why isn’t it as profound in your life? If you have the Spirit of Christ, where is His Power?

Christ came to bring Spirit to a dead word. The followers of the Old Testament misunderstood the heart of God because they thought that if they just followed through with the behavior that described a righteous man by definition through what they accomplished then they were doing what God wanted. But Christ came to tell the Truth that it was the Spirit behind the word, not the word itself; that it was the Spirit of the heart which only the Spirit knew and could reveal. You have to be changed and transformed. Your life must become different and truly righteous and pure. You can’t pretend your way through salvation.

You must feed your Spirit and grow in Him. You have to go deeper. You have to let the Lord purge and re-purge your life to His total will. This world will be empty one day and all you will have left is your soul. Everything that exist around you right now as you are reading this will disappear one day and all that will be left is your soul, in front of the Father God with His Son at His right side. Your soul and spirit is so much more important than any thing else.

But right now, your spirit is in the Spirit of Christ, so you have all that you need. Till the ground, cultivate it, and grow. In Righteousness, you will have power. And Christ is the One who molds you, when you allow Him to do so. This is a prophetic word; Surrender and let go. Don’t be afraid. The world will not stop if you focus on the things of Christ from within. In fact, you will be surprised at how your life transforms. Let your focus be the things of the Father and your whole life will change very dramatically. Give in to His pull. There’s nothing for you to loose that’s worth any real soul value. He’s waiting on you to say, Father, God I’m ready to do your will. He is waiting for you to step in and be filled with His Love, Power, and Glory! Come closer, come closer, and closer. Give Christ full access to your spirit. Trust Him. Don’t fear and don’t doubt. Nothing exists in reality but You and the Father. Take His hand and fly. Feed your Spirit more each day with His Word, Loving Him through one on one time that becomes so lengthy you loose track of time, praise Him continuously at every breath, and allow your spirit to soar with His Song. You can do it. I know you can. You’re almost there. Nothing exists in reality but You and the Father. Ask for nothing else but Righteousness and His Gift will fall naturally. I dare you.

NOT TODAY

I'm taking a vow and God told me to share it with you. The enemy will try various ways to take peace from your life but the Lord has me to declare to you, NOT TODAY. Vow today, that this day the enemy will not have your peace. What is your Peace? Jesus Christ that's within you and you in Him. In John 14:27, Jesus told you that He left you Peace. It's not the type of peace that the world gives but a peace where your heart will not be troubled or will it be afraid.

Today you shall not worry or trouble your spirit nor fear anything because the Wings of the Almighty God overshadow you. In John 16:33, He told you that the things He has spoken to you, through His teaching, He gave them to you to be happy and content. Even
