INTRODUCTION
Kari Lewis has over thirty years’ experience working as an educator, consultant, and board-certified coach. She has been a professor, classroom teacher, educational consultant, parent workshop facilitator, teacher trainer, and program innovator.
During the summers of 1995 and 1996, Dr. Lewis was the educational coordinator for the Multimodal Treatment Study for Children with/without attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at Duke University. This national study is recognized world-wide as one of the foremost research studies examining the most effective treatment for children with ADHD.
For the past 26 years, Dr. Lewis has been in private practice as an ADHD coach for children and adults. She has particular expertise in coaching children to improve time management, organization, and planning for tests and projects. She also specializes in coaching working adults, stay-at-home moms, college students, and highly motivated professionals with ADHD. From 1987 - 2021, Dr. Lewis was a professor of physical education at a major university where she taught over five different activity courses along with adapted physical education, nutrition, exercise and weight management, and women’s health issues.
