FROM THE AUTHOR
From my experience, writing a book doesn’t mean just sitting down and typing. There’s a whole process and it isn’t always easy. For this book especially, there was almost a year of planning for the journey that took place. There were books and research articles to read, sightings to find and map out and countless conversations with friends, family and acquaintances along the way. There was a move involve, so there was a moving company, a couple realtors and finance companies. This isn’t just a book about a story, this is a chapter of my life and nothing is as simple as just getting into the car. There are a few important people that need to be acknowledged for their help along the way.
For my Editor who is also a very close friend, thank you for immediately jumping on board with the idea of this endeavor. Your collaboration, anecdotes, suggestions and your keen eye are much appreciated. Your unwavering dedication to my craft is like gasoline on a fire. A fire that is continually burning all of my free time and energy.
I have to recognize my former supervisor and friend, Mr. Eric. You probably don’t realize how much you inspire me to look for bigfoot. Your constant banter and support make you a fine leader and a mentor for me. I would like to note that even though you were furious about this move, you still supported my adventure. For that I appreciate you.
For my mother, who passed during the very beginnings of the planning of this book, thank you always for your continued belief that I can do anything. You always believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.
For all my friends and family, your encouragement and support throughout this journey and every other journey in my life is inspiring. I know many of you are living vicariously through my life sometimes, but your continued love helps me keep it all real.
For my readers (I don’t believe I have a fan-following yet) I appreciate your support. Please continue to buy my books so I can buy new shoes.
