    INTRODUCTION

Hey, hey, party people! I’m so happy you’re holding this book in your hands! It’s my first baby and I hope to bring to your life what other authors have brought to mine: Comfort, laughter, and someone who gets it. I’m far from a perfect person, so I’m sure this book will have some faults, too. But hey, life isn’t fun without a little blunder here and there, am I right?!

Actually, those blunders are the reason this book is in your hands (or on your devices) right now. I’ve been reading books on the Law of Attraction and spirituality for about six years now and one thing I’ve learned is my journey has been far from flawless. I’ve read about some people who master the Law of Attraction within days. Then there’s me who seems to forget what I’m doing mid-manifestation. And while that can be Hulk-smash frustrating at times, it also makes the journey more interesting! I’m a former classroom teacher and the desire to learn, grow, and teach others is still rooted deep down in my soul. So while I would love life to change at the snap of my fingers, I appreciate my spiritual trip ups because let me grow and teach others how to move through them as well!

Writing this book meant I could share my journey while it was happening. Sure, there are parts of my story that have already happened and I do give some pointers here and there on how manifestations came to be, but it’s mostly about the imperfections I faced while manifesting the different desires in my life. There was an exclamation point at the end of that sentence, but I removed it because I’ve learned while reading this back that I would end every sentence with an exclamation point. A little overkill, I know. So I changed it for you.

While this isn’t a How To guide on life, it may hold some valuable nuggets of information for you. At the very least it may give you someone to laugh with (or at, no judgment) while you navigate through the self-help world yourself! Either way, I hope this book adds something positive to your life.

You know, it’s kind of scary writing a book! It’s exhilarating but a little nuckin’ futs (Dickie Roberts, anyone?) at the same time. You pour your soul into a project, take a leap and share it with the world, then hope that A. People get your sarcasm and pop culture references and B. They take it easy on you in the reviews section online. You pretty much open yourself up to the world’s criticism when you write a book and we all know how that can be this day in age. I mean, look how opinionated people are on the holiday cups at Starbucks. It’s like Regina George adding herself to the Burn Book in Mean Girls and then distributing it to the whole school. Actually, maybe it’s not. Bad reference, Stace. Bad reference. I promise, they get better.

Anyhooooo, books mean the world to me, so that’s why I decided to go for it and write one myself. So if you like what you read, share it with your loved ones! If you don’t like what you read, share it with your loved ones anyway because they might end up liking it. But my hope is that
