    I get into these moods where I want to be left alone

    There’s a war between what goes on in my head

    And my heart, a fragile package down a UPS conveyor belt

    Should’ve used more bubble wrap

    Sometimes I find myself pretending to be happy

    It’s really because I don’t want people to worry

    So I tell jokes and post things I don’t currently feel

    Maybe there’s no hope

    I’m complicit to this life I lead

    Not one for all eyes on me
