    What Is Life:

    Life Is Really Heaven Within

The definition of cooperation is a group of organisms working together for a better existence; creatures preserving their kind is what life is to humanity. There are two paths to follow: wretchedness and righteousness. A life fixated on universal self is the path of wretchedness. A life full of selfishness leads to negativity towards life and ultimately results in confusion, misery, and death. A life fixated on universal love is the path of righteousness. A life full of love leads to more life, understanding, truth, authenticity, faith, and grace. The secret of life is that we are only alive because of universal love—as well as our service to society and the value we contribute to the world.

To focus on truth is the secret that life gives us. Truth is becoming the good you want to see in the universe; this is the correct way to live. If all the world did the same, the universe and humanity would see heaven and bliss for all eternity. The prudent, the learned, and the worked will inherit the Earth because God is Life, and Life is God. Life is energy, and life is light. The sum of God is what is right.

I, Robert D. Melson, found peace through my imagination, my purpose, my service, my words, my thoughts, my humility, and through the creation of this book. My dreams have come forth, and with belief so will yours.

    WHAT IS LIFE?

The Many Secretes of the Good Life

    – James C. Livingston, Anatomy of The Sacred

The Source: How This Book Works

Hello, everyone. This is an action book for your success, to help cultivate a more desirable, fulfilling, and abundant life for yourself. The information presented in this book should be a guide and an excuse to practice beneficial habits that can change your life for the better. You only have to study and act upon the habits you presently need. Everyone’s path to success is unique. To utilize this book effectively, read five pages or more per day. It’s best to review each lesson and to do the exercises if you know deep in your heart that you need improvement.

Yes, this is an action book for your success, and the only way to create success for yourself is to act or take action. This chapter is going to teach you the fundamentals of what comprises purpose, health, wealth, love, and happiness. Within chapters 2 through 7 are all the lessons and exercises that you may need to become successful. Read over all the lessons and only do the exercises that interest you, for a person’s real purpose in life is to find passion in all that they do. This book may help you find that purpose.

Now, before you begin reading any further, there is one concept you must understand. My friend, you must learn how to follow your heart. The best way to follow your heart is staying true to yourself to where you want to go, why you want to go there, and how you want to make it happen. Your purpose in anything must be thought up within your heart and soul first, before it can be realized within your reality. There’s a saying that goes, You have to see it before you can believe it, but that’s not entirely true. You must first believe it before you can see it.

Also, when there’s a word that you’re unfamiliar with, please look up the definition; it will give you a better understanding of what this book can give to you. If this book helps you, please give this book to your children. And tell your children to do the same for their children. May the legacy and secretes within this book improve your and your family’s life forever. Much love to you and your family, dear reader. Your journey awaits. All you have to do is believe and that’s where you’ll eventually go.

The Source: The foundational belief is that life is not yours, it’s only yours to manage. If you manage life well, you get what you want and you receive a more tranquil life. The only way to manage life well is to improve all areas of your life, and that includes spending most of your time adding value and providing useful service to others. You see, when you improve all areas of your life, you maintain more, and when you provide a need for others, you receive more.

Remember that you are the controller of your being, and you decide what you take out of this book to improve your life forever. So here is your first essential exercise, Exercise Number One: For 21 days, see only the good in others. And ask yourself each day: what positive changes can I contribute to this world? Realize that with a better perspective towards others, you can accomplish anything. With compassion, you can make the world a better place. With love, you can make other people live a life you never had. The reason why you picked up this book is to learn success. Your first step to success starts with the habit of the heart.

Remember that life is not yours—it’s yours to manage. The world will never give you eternal peace. The source of life is within you, your harmony of mind, body, and soul. Harmony is your eternal peace. The world is full of confusion and fear. Inner peace removes confusion and fear since confusion and fear start within the mind, and slowly move their way to your body and soul. When you cultivate a better mind, body, and soul, you eventually develop a better inner life perspective. This increases productivity and gives you stronger determination to enhance value for yourself and for the rest of the world, thus creating any result you desire from life.

People only remember the legacy you leave behind. When you leave this world, you will only be remembered by what you did.

Success Awareness: The Secret of Life

Life is a dojo. You work hard to make a living, you work hard to make life better, and you work hard to take care of the people you love. There may be times in life where you want to give up, but never give up on where you want to go. You may have stopped working and lost it all, or you may have overworked yourself and given up. But, my friend, life is your dojo, and you have to work hard to stay in control of your life.

Control starts within your mind. Your mind is separated into two parts: your thinking mind and your autopilot mind. The conscious mind is your thinking mind or who you think you are, and your subconscious mind is your autopilot mind that handles all your habits, emotions, and the life within your body. Did you know an average person is 90 percent unaware each day, thinking on autopilot within his/her subconscious mind? They are unaware because they do the same unconscious activities each day by habit. This is why they say an average person only uses 10 percent of their brain’s potential since only during 10 percent of the day is one fully aware and not acting on habit. When you practice success awareness within your everyday life, you will create more brain potential and a better reality outside of yourself.

Success awareness is the realization that you can create your ideal life through creating new habits. It is the curiosity to focus on what truly matters to you, allowing you to get outside of your comfort zone and to relax and take control over your attention. When this happens, this takes a massive load off your subconscious mind to open up to more speed, intelligence, and clarity. The idea is that you can utilize the subconscious mind to work for you rather than against you since it stores your every memory, thought, and emotion. When you work in harmony with your subconscious mind, you can allow it to become your search engine in life—while your job is to guide yourself to where you want to go through habits.

Success is a journey, and the key to having an amazing life is through focused attention towards the ideal success you desire. Success awareness is also knowing who you truly are, what you truly have, and what you truly want. The only way to develop success awareness is through creating more positive habits and behaviors. Positive behaviors are the positive actions that you tackle each day to reach a specific goal or to improve a certain area of your life. When you utilize positive behaviors combined with many hours of repetition, you create intentional habits, and intentional habits are what genuinely guide you to success. Your success is to cultivate better consciously directed habits to create a highly developed, search-optimized mind, which helps you find the life you want. Hence, success awareness is your main mission in life because you gradually train your mind to seek, find, and act. That is the secret and truth to having a plentiful life.

Your awareness in life shouldn’t be placed on one aspect of your life alone like money, work, family, or happiness. Your success-fulfilled life begins with the awareness of every aspect of your life. These aspects include health, wealth, love, and happiness, which come together as your life’s journey or purpose. Health is the improvement of your thoughts and body, wealth is the improvement of your work and knowledge, love is the improvement of your relationships, and happiness is the improvement of your emotions and inner spirit. It is the improvement of your health, wealth, relationships, and happiness that give you more feelings of achievement and a better life. These are the four pillars of life, and when combined with purpose—which is goal achievement towards the four pillars while sticking to a well-defined mission in life and a good set of values—you create the Five Pillars of life. The Five Pillars of life is where you should focus because a negative awareness of the Five Pillars slowly kills the life you have, while success awareness around the Five Pillars gradually improves the life you have.

We can conclude that your purpose in life is to improve your habits of health, wealth, love, and happiness in order to achieve your ideal life. We all have a choice to increase the life within us by improving our pillars or slowly removing the life within us by disregarding our pillars. The best way to improve ourselves is by frequently improving our well-directed positive habits.

Did you know most people make a living, but they don’t make a life. To make a living is allowing negative change to influence your reality, creating an average, miserable, or even an unbearable lifestyle. To make a life is allowing positive change to influence your reality, creating the life you want, or maintaining the successful life you already have. Forming new positive habits is how you create a better life. As you may know, in order to create any habit, you must progressively take 21 days of action to form it, and it takes at least 90 days for most habits to achieve a worthy ideal or purpose. Before you begin on your success journey, you must ask yourself The Four Life Transformational Questions: (Ask them every single day)

What is it that I truly want?

How can I make a strategy for what I want?

How can I create more awareness for what I want?

How can I take massive action to get what I want?

In the next several paragraphs are the five positive habits for getting what you want, and to cultivate your own unique success awareness:

The Five-Pillar Change is a process of life transformation where you practice five essential habits daily that open up your success awareness. The five habits are reason, morality, confidence, discipline, and gratitude. Reason is the habit of suggesting why you should do something in the first place or why you should continue. Morality is the habit of making the right decisions based off your well-defined values. Confidence is the habit of believing you can accomplish anything you’re able to do through repetition of thought. Discipline is the habit of action to do whatever it takes to achieve your ideal success. Gratitude is the habit of loving life while maintaining and appreciating your current success.

Let us go over each one in more detail.

Reason: A reason gives you a why, adesire for change. The more reasons you have, the more desire you have within you to solve life-changing problems, obstacles, and setbacks. We all have different experiences in life. It doesn’t matter if the experiences we had were positive or negative since they already influenced our lives. By knowing this fact, you have the power to influence yourself through creating new desirable future experiences driven initially by your reasons.

The best way to discover your reasons is by writing them down as they come. Write out all your reasons for why you want to change or improve your life on a piece of paper. Over time, your reasons will grow, producing a desire for a better life. You will be surprised over time how much desire you can create within yourself—reasons are your secret for building more determination, willpower, and a desire to succeed.

Morality: Your conscience can provide you with the morality you need for better everyday life choices. Morality tells you what is right and what is wrong, this is a habit where you consciously and subconsciously act upon your moral beliefs and values. When you have a strong morality, you make better choices for yourself, for your loved ones, and for the people who depend on you. Choices are what make or break your success because they accept or neglect potential opportunities for a better life and future.

You can cultivate this habit by thinking mindfully (meditating) on the truth of the universe and what you truly value. Meditating on the truth of the universe is pondering over compassion, unconditional love, and generosity towards others—and within yourself. Meditating on what you truly value is pondering over what you actually want to maintain, have, or become in the distant future. Meditation is where values are born and goals are formed. The conscience view you create through your meditations will determine your potential opportunities for success.

Confidence: Confidence is formed through your beliefs. Beliefs come from your repetitive, well-directed thoughts and emotions. When you have a strong feeling mixed with an impulsive thought, you create belief in the attainment of that thought. With repetition and consistency, your emotionalized thoughts can create visions and beliefs for the creation of your desired goals and cherished values.

Read aloud your values and goals every single day with strong emotion, and you will gradually configure a more confident mind. Values and goals are best fixated upon for 90-day periods for realistic results in the development of inner confidence. An excellent example of creating inner confidence is through The Self Confidence Formula by Napoleon Hill. With emotionalized thoughts, you will soon create a belief for the attainment of your ideal success.

Discipline: Discipline is the actions that you take in the direction of your goals and values. It’s the massive action that you take towards your ideal success. You can consider discipline as your committed actions needed for your success, where you force yourself to do the work or whatever is required to make your goals come true.

The greatest discipline for success is to have five long-term goals that you break down into monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, and even minute-by-minute tasks to achieve. Discipline starts with the daily process of breaking down goals into manageable chunks to achieve each day. You can also organize all your goals to form a monthly success plan or game plan. It’s best to commit to a certain number of hours daily for the completion of your plan.

Gratitude: Gratefulness and thankfulness are the ultimate vibrations within you. Emotions are vibrations within your body made by your subconscious mind. Emotions tell you that there is something right or wrong happening within you or outside of you. The subconscious mind communicates directly to you through your emotions since the subconscious mind’s job is to maintain your emotional life (survival). When your subconscious mind sends a signal, it automatically sends a message to your thinking mind, saying there is a stimulus you are experiencing. When you have a stimulus which is not positive, your emotional mind sends magnifying negative vibrations, which is called distress feedback. When you feel distress feedback, you should correct the negative vibration through reason, morality, confidence, and/or discipline to create a new gratitude vibration.

When we practice the feeling of gratitude, the mind very slowly repairs any damages from distress vibrations. The feeling of gratitude brings us to a lovable or peaceful vibration within our mind, body, and soul. This peace is the key to connecting the subconscious mind to the conscious mind, or connecting the emotional mind to the thinking mind. Most people habitually turn off their thinking mind to allow their subconscious mind to manage their thinking for them. Instead, they should take more conscious control by guiding their subconscious mind to correct thoughts, awareness, and memory.

We must remember that thinking is a vibration itself and slows down when negative emotions come into play. Gratitude is your shield from a distressful life. When you’re in a grateful state of mind, you begin to create more energy and clarity. When practiced enough, you can begin to think more intelligently, allowing you to solve distressful situations and negative vibrations before they even happen. Remember that gratitude gives out the strongest vibrations of life within your body. Gratitude calms your body which also calms your mind. With the habit of gratitude, you’ll soon create a shield from distress. With the habit of gratitude, you can easily love life and maintain your life success.

You now know how to create success awareness by applying the Five-Pillar Change. Now it’s time to create your purpose. Your purpose is your unique life’s mission and the sum of your goals for health, wealth, love, and happiness. Purpose, health, wealth, love, and happiness all come together to create the Five Pillars of life. The Five Pillars of life give you a balanced view on your values and goals to move you successfully towards the ideal life you truly desire to live. This means the Five Pillars focus not just on financial success but also on improving what you want in life —your life’s direction, better thoughts and a better body, improving your relationships, more job security and useful knowledge, and more pleasure and confidence.

From understanding the Five Pillars of life, you can train your subconscious mind to become a search engine to find the life you want. Success awareness is the most practical way to train your subconscious mind for the attainment and development of a successful life. One way to improve your success awareness is through the use of a journal. A journal is a notebook in which you write your uplifting thoughts, memories, visions, values, goals, life-changing information, and all other ideas for making a more desirable life for yourself. Journals come in all shapes and forms like an app on your smartphone, the notes section of your smart device, a composition book, or even a small pocket-sized notebook.

You will find your greatest strengths and weaknesses by writing in your journal. Through journaling you will make your success journey more practical. When placing information into your journal, you want to think of yourself as writing core information needed to create your true self. Your true self is the person that you want to become, which also fits your current personality and physical abilities. Your true self allows your search engine-optimized mind to fire up on all cylinders. When you write in your journal, you should gradually describe the type of person you want to become, and from this, you can eventually create long-term goals for yourself. Your long-term goals are the targets you want to achieve that seem totally out of reach for you, and each goal, if achieved, would drastically improve your life for the better.

When you find your long-term goals, you must also find and commit to your values. You can find what your core values are in the next paragraph, The Principles of Life. We all know that values are anything that is important to us, but what is important to us might not align us to true peace and significance. Gratefully The Principles of Life are 10 focused principles that each person must have in order to become successful and tranquil. Values maintain and strengthen your success and peace of mind. Values are what set the foundation for better standards, ethics, calmness, and a better way to live.

    The Principles of Life

Purpose: What is one life mission that would be worth a lifetime of study for you?

Energy: What do you enjoy doing that improves your thoughts and your body?

Partner: What qualities do you love in a significant other?

Family: What can you do to have fun and maintain a good relationship with your children, parents, significant other, and close relatives?

Fellowship: What social groups should you be a part of?

Money: How can you invest for yourself and your family’s future?

Work: What are you the most gifted in to better serve and add value to society?

Friends: What do you and your best friends enjoy doing?

Relaxation: What could you do to feel more relaxed and less distressed?

Recreation: What hobbies do you enjoy?

What are the differences between values, roles, and goals? Values maintain you, roles improve you, and goals develop you. Values are your own meaning to the Principles of Life; they are how you see the world through the 10 principles. Values don’t just maintain you, they also satisfy you. They give you a strong desire to be yourself. You can think of values as your own foundation for what you want to maintain or expect to live by. Visit chapter two, lesson and exercise, Principles, Values, Roles, and Goals to get a more in-depth understanding of these essential topics.

Now, in order to reach your long-term goals, you must break them down into manageable roles and goals to achieve within a six-month time frame. While setting and committing to your manageable roles and goals, make sure you stay congruent with your values. Also remain true to the strengths and weaknesses found in your journal. When your roles and goals are set, break them down into hourly or even minute-by-minute steps to achieve each day. These broken-down practical roles and goals will move you closer to your realistic success. Prioritizing your roles and goals are essential for true life transformation. Please visit and utilize "Appendix 17: Prioritizing Your Goals" and you will eventually create the life you long for.

When managing your life and planning for your future, it’s also important to follow spiritual and worldly commandments. Commandments are laws; if they are followed, they can positively influence and improve your future. If you break a commandment, you could take many years to repair or correct the mistake. It’s best to follow The 11 Life Commandments for Success Awareness and The 10 Commandments from the Bible.

"If no mistake have you made, yet losing you are. A different game you should play." – Yoda

The 11 Life Commandments for Success Awareness

The laws for a successful life mastery.

Concentrate your mind on your purpose. Seek and you will find it.

Play as much as a child, and create more vitality.

Repetition in reading creates knowledge to overcome failure and fear.

Show love and be loved by understanding people.

Treat others as you want to be treated.

Believe all things are positive by seeing the good in all things.

Practice the right actions to become your own creator of financial value.

Share with others your resourcefulness for wealth, not just your time for wealth.

Give to the needy, and you can remove greed and create more peace.

Laugh to replenish your mind, body, and soul from sickness.

Influence others by your actions and not just your words.

The Ten Commandments are the spiritual laws that govern society. Without these laws, humanity would perish through habits of evil immorality. Each religion believes in a higher power. This book wasn’t written to accommodate every religion; nevertheless, if you have no God, you must believe in a higher power. You may believe in a universal God (One powerful creator of life or the universal sum of life ). The reason is to get the full understanding of each commandment and to receive purity within your soul. The commandments are used to explain how to treat yourself and others until death does its part. Follow the commandments for everlasting peace.

    The 10 Commandments

The laws for a happy life.

Believe in God or the power that governs the universe.

You should not put anything else before number 1.

You should never talk bad about your God, the universe, or spiritual beliefs.

Each week take one day off to rest your mind, body, and soul. The whole day must be dedicated to improving and uplifting the attitudes of yourself and your family.

Respect your mother and father, so you can respect yourself. (Karma)

Do not murder another, so another will not murder you. (Karma)

Do not practice adultery, so another will not cheat on you. (Karma)

Do not steal, so another will not steal from you. (Karma)

Never condemn another without evidence to give yourself peace of mind.

Do not be envious of your neighbor for what he or she has. Being enviousmeans wishing you possessed something more than another or wishing another lacked more than you. When you are envious, you think with scarcity andpoverty.

The secret of a prosperous and tranquil life is to daily obey all 21 Commandments, to review your values daily, and to take enormous action towards your long-term goals each and every day. This, in turn, brings you the most purpose, success, vitality, mindfulness, and happiness.

About Positivity: A Mind Without Tension

Happiness lights up the way for a person to live in the here and now. A here and now lifestyle is where you should put your main focus. Not just on the day itself but mostly on what you’re currently doing at this very moment in time. Not to think more thoughts of what may happen tomorrow or 10 years from now, but to think of what is happening right now or today. Not to think more thoughts of what happened yesterday or 10 years ago, but to think what is happening at this very moment in time. The past and the future do have their strengths, but they should only be used to periodically focus, comprehend, answer, and solve present situations. Happiness starts to show when your main focus is on what you are currently doing or planning to do today. In short, living in the now creates optimum thinking to generate more ideas for improving your happiness.

One of the best ways to grade your happiness is through the Wheel of Life created by Paul J. Meyer. The Wheel of Life is a circle separated into eight different sections, which include Health, Family & Friends, Love Partner, Self-Growth, Fun and Play, Career, Money, and Physical Environment. Each section has a point scale between one and ten, with ten being thoroughly satisfied and one being totally unsatisfied. Here are two examples of the Wheel of Life for Money and Career: Your money situation is not where you want it to be. You would like to make at least $100,000 per year, but you are currently making $30,000 per year; you can put three points down for Money. Your Career, however, is a field you enjoy; you hardly get stressed, although you might spend 10 percent of your time not liking some aspect of your work; so, give nine points for Career.

Now, the best way to improve your happiness is by grading yourself with the Wheel of Life each month. This will help you grasp your current level of overall happiness. The Purpose Wheel of Health, Wealth, Love, and Happiness can also help with grading your current level of life satisfaction.

Positivity is a definite feeling—a feeling of goodness, happiness, fun, and enjoyment. When you see a happy person, you may say, Why is that person so happy? The reason is because they choose to be. Positivity comes from focusing on the good—the good around you, the good within you, the good in your senses, and the good in your imagination. A person who genuinely has a positive attitude believes that every word, thought, or image has the power to trigger an emotion. As you may know, emotions are merely vibrational signals from your emotional mind telling you to fix a problem or to enjoy success. If you are not following on your path of joy, growth, or purpose, your emotional mind sends a signal of distress, saying that there is something wrong. When your path is growing towards your ideal success, your emotional mind sends a signal of gratitude, saying that life is good because we made it so.

We talked earlier about your purpose of success awareness, but let us recap to understand how to generate more gratitude, happy thoughts, and happy emotions.

People are as happy as they make their minds to be.

    – Abraham Lincoln

We all need success awareness to truly be happy in our lives. Success awareness starts with asking why because your why creates within you the reasons for change; the more reasons you have, the faster you can create a desire for change. Once you have desire, you can find your direction, which comes from the choices you make. Choices come from knowing what’s truly important to your life, which are called values. To commit to your values, you’ll also need confidence. Confidence comes from thinking good words and affirmations that are aligned with your values. To maintain your values and to create new values which are called goals you’ll also need to practice discipline. Discipline is all the actions that you need to complete until you achieve gratitude. Your happy feelings are the vibrations of gratitude which your body wants; it is what your emotional mind wants. If you get off course, it’s not a failure; it’s just an experiment that didn’t work well, and your emotional mind sends a signal of distress to correct your current course. Course correction is a process of applying reason, morality, confidence, and then discipline until you achieve gratitude. One day the course correction process, or Five-Pillar Change, will build up within you unceasing vibrations of gratitude.

This process of course correction is also called Goal-Oriented Happiness, which is a lifestyle of creating positive habits to facilitate more positive results. This is a lifestyle where you focus on living for today while utilizing most of your day to create more happiness in the future. Some people call this delayed gratification, where you work hard today to get what you want later in life. Most of the world lives in instant gratification, where they work less today in order to enjoy life in the present, without much thought towards the consequences that will following them into the future.

Goal-oriented happiness requires you to do activities daily that align you with your values and ideal future. If you want more happiness, you must improve your life every single day in order to have the life you want—end of story. Think about the happiest moment of your life. Shut your eyes; really think and feel that moment running through your mind for about 10 seconds. Don’t worry about the people around you and the place you are currently occupying—unless you are driving, of course. Shut your eyes, feel the positivity, and see that happy moment running through your mind. Now you feel good, happiness, joy, and excitement. If you apply the habit of goal-oriented happiness into your everyday life, this is what you could feel like in your days to come.

If you want to be happy, you need to increase
