In fast-paced and modern society nowadays, many people experience high levels of stress and anxiety on a regular basis. These often leading to physical and mental health problems. Fortunately, meditation can be a powerful tool for managing stress and anxiety and improving overall well-being.

What is stress and anxiety?

External pressures like work deadlines, financial constraints, or interpersonal issues are bound to cause stress. The hormone cortisol is released by our bodies in response to stress, triggering the fight or flight
response and preparing us to respond to the perceived threat. Stress can be beneficial in modest amounts by encouraging us to take action and complete tasks. Chronic stress, however, can have a severe impact on our health and wellbeing, contributing to issues like anxiety, sadness, and even physical health issues like diabetes and heart
