About this ebook

Keeping a dwarf or miniature goat as a house pet may sound unusual to some, but it is becoming increasingly popular among animal lovers. However, finding reliable information on how to care for a house goat can be challenging, as most farmers and experts advise against it.

Fortunately, with the right resources and knowledge, keeping a house goat can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. As a current owner of a house goat, I have gained valuable insights into the care and behavior of these fascinating animals. I have compiled all of this information and more into this comprehensive ebook, which is designed to provide you with everything you need to know about keeping a dwarf or miniature goat as a house pet.

This ebook is not just for those who have already brought a goat into their home, but also for those who are considering it. It includes a wealth of information, from interesting facts and tips to personal accounts and pictures, all aimed at helping you make informed decisions about bringing a goat into your home.

Some of the topics covered in this ebook include:

Choosing the right breed of goat for your living situation and lifestyle

Creating a safe and comfortable living space for your goat indoors

Providing proper nutrition and healthcare for your goat

Training your goat to behave properly indoors

Managing the challenges that come with keeping a house goat, such as potential damage and messes

One of the biggest misconceptions about keeping a house goat is that they cannot be happy without the company of other goats. While it is true that goats are social animals and prefer to be in a herd, they can still form strong bonds with their human family members and be happy living in a household as a single pet. This ebook will provide you with the information you need to ensure that your goat feels happy and fulfilled in their new home.

In addition to providing practical advice, this ebook also includes heartwarming personal accounts of living with a house goat. These stories illustrate the unique bond that can develop between a goat and their human family members, and demonstrate the joy and happiness that a house goat can bring into your life.

Whether you are already a proud owner of a house goat, or simply considering the idea, this ebook is a must-have resource. With its comprehensive information, valuable insights, and personal stories, it will guide you through the process of caring for a house goat and help you create a loving and happy home for your furry friend.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    Andrew Lawrence

Hello, my name is Andrew, and I own a house goat.

I know, that sounds kind of like the opening statement for a support group, maybe it is. LOL Sometimes I wonder if I need to start one for my goat problem.

I am a husband and father of three boys, and I work from home. My love for animals started when I was a kid and I had various pets like hamsters, lizards, and rabbits. My kids have also inherited our family's love for pets, and we currently have a dog, a rabbit, a chinchilla, and of course, Ash the goat. Recently losing our big and loving Golden Retriever to cancer was a devastating experience for us all.

This ebook is my first attempt at sharing my experiences with Ash and the knowledge I have gathered over time. I hope that by sharing our story, I can help others who are considering keeping a dwarf or miniature goat as a house pet.

    INTRODUCTION

YES, YOU CAN KEEP A DWARF OR MINITURE GOAT AS A HOUSE PET

The first myth I want to dispel is that you cannot keep a single goat as a house pet. When I became interested in getting a goat for a house pet I did quite a lot of research on the internet. Almost every single article I came across said you CANT keep a single goat! They are heard animals, and they need companionship, so you need at least two, three or more is better. I also found articles saying that they were hard to take care of, they would create messes and damage your house, they belong in barns, even one 'expert' called the idea disgusting".

I could find little to no information about anyone that had kept a goat as a true house pet, like a dog or cat, maybe just a few passing references.

I am writing this ebook to tell you, it can be done, and hopefully the information that I have gathered will help you make an informed decision as to
