    The Cop

    A once highly respected cop, Anthony Thomas, was being taken to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. The calm, mild mannered officer is in prison because he stumbled upon some hard evidence that the chief of police is as dirty as a pig. He sits quietly on a bus as he arrives to his new home, and receives the warm welcome a hero usually gets.

    YOU SUCK, PIG! A prisoner yells from behind a fence.

    Welcome to the big house, chump, A prison guard states to Thomas. You won’t make it to the end of the week.

    Fifty bucks says he dies tonight, Another guard says. It’ll probably happen in his cell.

    I’ll take that bet.

    As Thomas is escorted into the prison, he is greeted by many unhappy faces, and many of whom he recognizes. Past criminals he has arrested and sent here all eye him up and down. Soon, Thomas and the other fresh fish are brought into a room with an extra dapper fellow.

    Alright ladies listen up, The man yells. I am the warden, YOUR warden, so I expect you to listen to me and follow my rules. Break them or disrespect me, and you’ll be sent to the ‘reeducation’ room. The Warden then walks out of the room.

    Alright prisoners get changed, it’s time for you to go to your cells! A guard yells.

    After a brief moment, all of the new inmates are changed in jumpsuits and are one by one escorted to their cells. Once Thomas is escorted to his room, he is quickly rushed in there with the door slamming shut behind him. He puts his few belongings on a bottom cell bunk and stares at an old family photo.
