King David brought in might in nine domains in forging the nation of Israel. His invincible arsenal of mighty men, mighty deeds, mighty hearts, mighty numbers, mighty faith, and teams of mighty men brought uncountable victories that ushered Israel into a great nation.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to found a great kingdom with many units called nations by making disciples and by making those, who like him, will make disciples—and the apostles were the builders. In a sense, every ministry, every community, has a founder and the rest are builders of that spiritual community.

In this live narrative compilation from the 14th session of the annual 40-day Praise, Prayer, and Fasting Crusade of our community, a portrait of a great spiritual nation and spiritual nation builders is projected and prayed through for the community in the light of the lessons learned from the above four outstanding Biblical models.

    FOREWORD

    The Lord has called our community ¹ to emerge as a great spiritual nation—an organ possessed by the Holy Spirit for the accomplishment of God's end-time purposes. The Biblical background and general concept of a spiritual nation are introduced in our books Building a Spiritual Nation: The Foundation and Building a Spiritual Nation: Spiritual Statesmanship by the same author. There is a dire need of competent nation builders and spiritual statesmen to build such a spiritual nation God’s way. Does the Scripture provide us with any such models?

    This was the pacesetter during the 14th session of the annual 40-day Praise, Prayer and Fasting Crusade of Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI—our ministry) that took place from 17 October to 25 November 2022; the crusade was coordinated from our International Headquarters in Koume, Cameroon.

    The prayer crusade ran from 2 pm to 10 am each day and was divided into seven slots which were led by seven different teams according to the following respective burdens:

    From 14:00—18:00: Praying for the tangible presence of God and the objectives of the praise, prayer and fasting crusade.

    From 18:00—21:00: Session of worship, thanksgiving and praise so that the presence of God will bow our hearts and enable us to experience worship—praise that will give us a new vision of God with which we will live and work.

    From 21:00—24:00: Praying for the spiritual nation that God has given to us.

    From 00:00—02:00: Praying for faith and commitment to the goal of phase 3—The one million house churches, the one million pastors that obey the Bertoua Message, the 50-100 members in each house church that give it stability and warmth, and that serve as a class unit for the discipling of all that God has given to us according to the Bertoua Message

    From 02:00—04:00: Praying for the hand of God on the nation (Cameroon) and for the nations.

    From 04:00—06:00: Watching over the leader and the leaders.

    From 06:00—10:00: crying out to God that the leader and the leaders of our ministry will be people who walk with God, who possess God and who are possessed by God. Praying that our leaders will hunger and thirst for God and that they will seek God.

    In this compilation, we have laboured to present in its wholesomeness the daily proceedings from part 3 (the slot between 9 pm to midnight) led by brother Theodore Andoseh. During this session, the portrait of a great spiritual nation and spiritual nation builders is projected and prayed through for our community using four outstanding Biblical models:

    Moses built the nation of Israel around the major vector of making them into the people of God and to make out of them a people for God. It is a relationship with God that produced a people for God. And a distinct relationship with God that produces a great nation of God.

    The Lord Jesus Christ is building a kingdom for God, not only a nation. He is doing so by making disciples and by making those, who like him, will make disciples.

    King David built the nation of Israel with might in nine domains. He used might in one domain—battlefield—to bring victories to the nation. He developed this six-fold field might in the building of a spiritual nation in the Old Testament by removing the enemies of God. In the New Testament, the kingdom of God is built by neutralizing and winning the enemies of God through the gospel. Ours is the mission field, the harvest field, the evangelistic field, the ministry field.

    Samuel brought in the fulness of God. He offered the nation of Israel a spiritual model, in three distinct areas—an unusual walk with God, a distinct ministry, and leadership blamelessness. He became a model by his walk with God.

    These have been developed in the four major and extensive parts of this compilation.

    For completeness, we have included the information newsletter of the event in the Introduction. The numerous life-changing exhortations that spiced most nights of the prayer crusade and the prophetic messages are presented in the Appendix.

    A large crowd gathered each night in Koume. The live sound and images from Koume reached over 1,212 unique individuals every night (on average) in 176 nations across the six continents, provoking over 5,453 immediate positive reactions to the messages from the platforms where we have audience interaction.     Praise the Lord!

    Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his Name; make his Praise Glorious! Say to God, how awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you … Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man’s behalf! … Praise Our Lord, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; He has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping (Psalm 66:1-9).

    By this time last year, the nations were still in the grip of fear and uncertainty about the global pandemic of covid 19 and under the looming threat of the Ukrainian invasion by Russia and the economic depression it triggered in almost all the nations. Within Cameroon, the separatists’ crisis continued with crippling economic impact, an uncertain academic calendar for children and general insecurity for everyone in the parts of the nation affected… Very close at home, within our work and the ministry, was the gloom of precious and critical leaders who had died; sister Emilia Tendo, Thomas George of India and about seven other pastors of our work in India, Paul Bello, Mama Evelyn Ngo Hongnyo, Joseph Besong and some international missionaries: Francis Bomombe of Egypt, Henry Ojong of Liberia … etc. But truly as the Psalmist says,

    ‘It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Lord Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the work of your hands. How great are your works, O Lord, how profound your thoughts!’ Psalm 92:1-6

    The worst of the covid 19 pandemic is over!

    National and international travel has recommenced! The depressive and prolonged confinements are over!!

    We have paid all allowances in the work regularly. The Lord has provided even for development at the base in Koume and acquisition of auxiliary bases and prospective acquisition of structures in Germany, England, USA, Mali, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and, of course, those already acquired in Canada, France, Benin and many spiritual provinces of Cameroon.

    We have continued to produce evangelistic tracts and distribute them in the millions in the nation and in the nations.

    We have continued to edit, publish and distribute books and opened two new CPHs: the one in Koume and another in Ruston, USA.

    We have continued to raise, train and post both national and international missionaries in the hundreds in and from Cameroon and from other national bases in the work.

    The Santa Cruz prophecy has continued to be pursued and encouraged at local church levels and by some critical evangelists and leaders in the work such as JF Edogue, Joseph Ngandeu, Calvin Wuntcha and the team in the American hemisphere, Patrice Nyamy and the JEV movement in France and in some other nations.

    Other critical outreach initiatives have emerged in the work: the Ivory Coast annual 40-day program of healing, deliverance, soul-winning and church strengthening crusade; the nascent missional targeting of the universities to raise missioners, missionaries and make disciples being coordinated under Watchman Ndinteh, Joseph Ngandeu and the Paris team; the radical short term student missions that have begun in Eastern Europe under Constant Yonke and in many nations after the camps!!

    We have begun to teach the Bertoua message in the School of Knowing and Serving God and various programs at the Headquarters and also in a few local churches such as in Yaoundé, in order to pursue the goal of raising one million pastors of house churches for Phase 3 of our work.

    Critical leaders have continued to push the penetration and establishment of our work in New Horizons such as the Ndasi Donalds, Constant Yonke, Calvin Wuntcha, the Affias, the Sahel team under JF Edogue, the Songos of UAE and, of course, the veteran Jean de Dieu Watchiyi, Jean Ngankwe and Calvin Ekoh.

    Our work is over 4.5 million strong, in about 132 nations in the 6 continents as of September 2022.

    Our leaders are beginning to form a Body of Ministry and an Organ of Leadership which the Holy Spirit can possess and use to accomplish our goal of 1 billion disciples meeting in 25 million house churches in 250 nations by 2065 who are being discipled to render total obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ in all things! The goal that has begun to forge a Zacharias Tanee Fomum spiritual nation with the mission of producing and maintaining the global heaven-rending, earth-shaking, Christ-glorifying revival that God has promised our generation.

    Has God not indeed shown us His love in the morning and His faithfulness at night? Has He not indeed made us glad by the work of His hand? God has called all of our work to a season of fasting, praise and prayer for 40 days from October 17 to November 25, 2022. Let each member of our young spiritual nation fast at least 03-day complete fast and let any come along in 21-day, 28-day, and 40-day complete fasts according to the faith of each and God’s enabling grace!

    We are fasting as a heart cry to God for the following:

    That God will enable us to rapidly accomplish the goal of Phase 3 as He has promised us.

    That God will raise statesmen, spiritual leaders and critical workers to produce the ZTF spiritual nation that will serve God’s mission of maintaining the God-sent global revival in our generation as He has commanded us.

    That God will grant Cameroon a peaceful and orderly solution to the crises within and another bloodless and God-ordained transition of government at His own timing.

    Please join me in the fast and the 600-hour praise and prayer crusade during these 40 days and also mobilise many to join you! O that God will grant that 100 thousand people will fast completely between 3 and 40 days during this season for His exclusive glory! Amen.

    Pray that many nations and churches will also take praise and prayer crusades of between 300 and 600 hours during this season and that God will give us one thousand such crusades in our work during this season.

    Pray that those holding crusades will pray along with us at the base and give us their accounts for thanksgiving to God.

    Pray for yourself;

    Pray for your leaders;

    Pray for your nation; and

    Pray for our work.

    You are critical! You are precious!!

    Your brother in the Lord!

    THE CRUSADE PROGRAM

    We are ambitious to have at the Headquarters a crusade of 800 hours. In the first slot,

    FROM 2PM TO 6PM: PRAYING FOR THE TANGIBLE PRESENCE OF GOD AND THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PRAISE, PRAYER AND FASTING CRUSADE

    The Bertoua House of Prayer and the Strategic Prayer Centre and all the others, they will start praying.

    The part that is led by sister Caroline, in addition to everything else that they must pray, I would like them to pray for one major burden.

    When Israel left Egypt, the cloud of God’s presence and the fire of God’s presence was over the nation, in all the forty years. Even when they were rebelling, even when God was judging them; the one thing that never left Israel was that presence of God, through the cloud.

    So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel during all their travels. (Exodus 40:38)

    Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. (Exodus 13:22)

    Because of your great compassion you did not abandon them in the desert. By day the pillar of cloud did not cease to guide them on their path, nor the pillar of fire by night to shine on the way they were to take. You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst. For forty years you sustained them in the desert; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen. (Nehemiah 9: 19-21).

    There was something that never left the children of Israel. It was that tangible presence of God, that could be seen. For forty years, God did not take away the cloud and the fire. Forty years!

    And when they got into Canaan, inside the tabernacle, in the holy of holies, there was the continuous light of God called the Shekinah. It was over the ark continuously. There was no window in the Holy of holies, there was no door, there was no external light that entered the Holy of holies. There was a light that did not come from any fire, the uncreated light that hung over the ark. It was over that ark permanently.

    Sister Caroline, their slot, I want you to pray what Moses was crying out to God. Moses had a cry to God,

    Oh Lord, if your presence does not go with us, do not let us move from here. [Exodus 33:15]

    God told them: I will give you an angel, I will give you success, I will give you the land, I will overthrow your enemies, I will give you success, but I will not be with you.

    And Moses took forty days fast to beg God not to give them success without God.

    In 2 Kings 17, the chronicler, he writes the final sentence of judgement over Israel. In the book of 2 Kings 17, in that chapter, we have the saddest statements of the Old Testament: Finally, God chased them, drove them, cast them out of his presence. There are very few times I have gotten to that passage and I have not wept. That is the final—when God chases you from his presence.

    So the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them from his presence. Only the tribe of Judah was left… The Israelites persisted in all the sins of Jeroboam and did not turn away from them until the Lord removed them from his presence, as he had warned through all his servants the prophets. So the people of Israel were taken from their homeland into exile in Assyria, and they are still there. (2 King 17: 18, 21, 23)

    It had never taken place.

    Even with all the sins, there had been the cloud. There had been the cloud of fire, and when the tabernacle was set up, there was always the shekinah. But finally, the sin of Jeroboam cost Israel the presence of God.

    From when I was a young convert, I have not feared anything in my Christian life than when God would abandon me. And God knows that I am not lying. I have known some periods when the presence of God left and the darkness, the cold, the loneliness.

    I understand what King Saul went through when the Bible says:

    The Spirit of the lord left him and another spirit came upon him [1 Samuel 16:14].

    It is what modern people will call depression. Chronic spiritual depression when God has gone, when there is nobody out there to whom you pray.

    If you can echo the prayer of Moses from the heart for our ministry, that is part of what it means to cry out for the tangible presence of God.

    During these forty days, I beg you: Pray!

    There is Pentecostalism without God, there is a success without God, there is leadership without God. There is ministry without God and there is a life without God. I want to say that the absence of God pains, I am not exaggerating, it pains. A person in that condition is not somebody you can truly minister to, they are sure of nothing, they are sure of nothing. He is lost, his Christianity is ideas. It is a terrible condition to be in.

    But if our ministry can be like what God did to Israel through Moses; that even at our worst, that He will not take away his presence, that the cloud will be there, that the fire will be there, that the light will be there, and then we will be a people of God.

    It is: Bring the cloud and the fire and the light on all our ministry, even at our worst.

    Can just two, two people pray before we continue.

    If you know a bit of what I am talking about, even at your worst, there was God, the presence was not taken. And Moses told God: Please God, don’t give us success, don’t give us a promise land, don’t give us the accomplishment of our goal if you will not come with us. At their worst, God was with them.

    Who has understood me? The fire was there, the light was there, the light was over the shekinah always. The presence of God did not go, except in that 2 Kings 17; finally, God drove them away, and that was the end.

    That is part of the burden for that first part.

    The part that sister Henriette Kapnang will lead, there will be praying for the objectives and this prayer fasting letter—in addition to the other things they will pray for. Let them give us the one hundred thousand fasts. Let them give us the one thousand crusades, in addition to the routine prayers they carry, for our success in Phase 3.

    FROM 6PM—9PM: WORSHIP, THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE

    This is the session for worship, thanksgiving and praise. It is my hope that in some of the sessions of praise, that the presence of God will bow our hearts and enable us to experience worship. We need it. The vision of God that praise gives us fills our hearts with faith for prayer. If our eyes do not see God and sense God, many prayer topics will be vain repetitions.

    In praise, the person praising God sees God in a certain way, and that vision of God is living, it fills the heart with faith and assurance, and it makes prayer possible.

    In praise, a heart sees God in a certain way and the problems of his life, and the problems of his world suddenly shrink, and fear is taken away, and worry is taken away, and peace fills his heart.

    Praise affects us because in praise, we are engineering a vision of God by which we shall live. If we see a great God, we shall attempt great things. If we see a good God, our dispositions will be altered. If we see a present God, like Hebrews 13 says:

    Let your life be free from the love of money, for he who has promised has said: I will never leave you nor forsake you. So, we can say: the Lord is my helper, what can man do to me? (Hebrews 13:5-6).

    A present God takes away the fear of man and the worship of man. It takes it away, then you don’t have to lie, because you are not struggling for the favours a man can bring to you because you have God.

    That is what praise does to us.

    Pray that God will lead us in a praise that will give us a new vision of God with which we will live and work.

    We need to praise God together. All around us, there are many pseudo-messiahs, many threats, many demons, many sinners.

    FROM 9 PM TO MIDNIGHT: PRAYING FOR THE SPIRITUAL NATION THAT GOD HAS GIVEN TO US.

    We will be praying for the spiritual nation that God has given to us. It will be led by brother Theodore.

    What has not been produced in prayer does not exist.

    Prayer is the DNA of every spiritual work.

    What is not done in prayer will never appear in the work, except it is a cancer.

    If God has shown us His will, we must pray it.

    Prayer is the DNA of all that comes from God.

    If it has been prayed for, it will be.

    So, if God has given us a vision, we should pray that vision through.

    FROM MIDNIGHT TO 2 AM: PRAYING FOR FAITH AND COMMITMENT TO THE GOAL OF PHASE 3

    Brother Alphonse will lead us to pray for the goal of phase 3:

    The one million house churches

    The one million pastors that obey the Bertoua Message

    The 50-100 members in each house church that give it stability and warmth, and that serve as a class unit for the discipling of all that God has given to us according to the Bertoua Message

    They are house churches, but they are also study units.

    FROM 2 AM—4 AM: PRAYING FOR THE HAND OF GOD ON THE NATION (CAMEROON) AND FOR THE NATIONS.

    Brother Nicolas Akoa will lead us to pray for Cameroon and for the nations. We want the hand of God on our nation.

    The problems in the nation are bigger than anyone can solve, we want to ask God to give wisdom to our leaders to help us solve those problems.

    FROM 4AM TO 6AM: WATCHING OVER THE LEADER AND THE LEADERS.

    Sister Esther will lead us to watch over the leader and the leaders.

    FROM 6 AM—10 PM: PRAYING THAT THE LEADER AND THE LEADERS OF OUR MINISTRY WILL WALK WITH GOD

    The WCPFC members and the WUPF staff and members will pray, led by brother Matthew and sister Clarisse.

    The burden that brother Matthew and the WUPF will carry is also what all those in sister Emilia’s team will be carrying during this fast. It is a cry to God during this fast that the leader and the leaders of our ministry will be people who walk with God, who possess God and who are possessed by God. They will pray that our leaders will hunger, thirst for God; that they will seek God.

    I was explaining to Anna that I want our leaders to seek God, not to meditate. If we meditate to find God, we will find God, because all who seek God find God. If we meditate to prove that we have God, that our meditation shows that we have God, that shall be catholicism. We meditate to seek God and not to prove that we know God.

    We shall fast to seek God, pray to seek God.

    We shall not gather accountability to make as if our hearts have God when we know our hearts are empty.

    [They will pray] That our leaders will seek God.

    They will pray that our leaders will find God, encounter God.

    And they will pray that our leaders will begin to know God. And that what they will discover about God will make them love God and trust God and believe God, so that they can obey God.

    And they will pray that our leaders will serve God.

    We have many leaders who are not serving God. They are serving CMFI, or they are serving brother Theodore or some other leader.

    Those who serve God look for their reward from God. The many people that are looking for their reward here on this end, who are looking for what the ministry will do for them and give them, or what the leader or what the favour of a leader will bring to them, they are not serving God. The person they are serving should pay them.

    We want to pray that our leaders will serve God so that God will be the rewarder of our leaders, the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

    It is good for our leaders to serve God so that they may have God as their rewarder.

    They will pray that our leaders will not only serve God, but that they will enjoy God, that we will have leaders that enjoy God.

    Hallelujah!

    That our leaders will enjoy God.

    And they shall not stop at that level, they shall pray that our leaders will enjoy God and make Him their bliss. Oh, that our leaders would enjoy God, and that, as they enjoy God, that they will please God and be pleasing to God; to hunger for God, to seek him, to find him and encounter Him, and multiply encounters, and love him and obey Him and serve Him, and enjoy Him, and please Him and labour to be pleasing to Him.

    Sister Clarisse’s part that she will lead is to watch over the ministry, because sister Esther will start by watching detailly over the leader and the leaders. They will pray the four fifteen minutes retreats for the whole ministry.

    Hallelujah!

    Let us have two, two people come and pray that the Lord will enable us pray 20 hours without sweating every day.

    The goal of all this planning is so that we may pray and enjoy praying, without anybody breaking. I don’t want anybody to break.

    Hallelujah!

    Nobody shall pray the twenty hours, nobody. Why? At the end of the prayer crusade, we shall work, you shall have no rest. So, don’t lie.

    I have commanded sister Esther not to go beyond twelve hours of praying in group, with us.

    During the day, let her take a retreat of at least 6 hours.

    And you shall not pray more than sister Esther. If you are a champion, pray for twelve hours. If you start at two, make sure that by 2am, you go away, so that by 2pm, you would have meditated, without beating your wife.

    If you start at 6pm, make sure that you don’t go beyond 6am.

    Who has understood?

    If you are a champion, take twelve hours in the twenty hours, and be our champion, and sleep well. But don’t eat well, we are fasting. Meditate, read the bible, open a fasting journal. I have a fasting journal for every fast, where I am watching to see what God will do for me.

    Write a hundred prayer topics, serious ones and true topics. Don’t write lying prayer topics.

    If you are so lazy that you have not saved money for marriage, and you pray: ‘Lord, grant me to marry before December 2022’, the angels will say: No! God will say: No! And we gathered here will say: No! Because you need to show us that you want to get married, by taking your life seriously, by taking yourself seriously.

    Don’t pray lying topics: ’Oh Lord, bless me with a car.’ To go where? If you pray those kinds of prayers, God will ask you that: if you are praying for things that you don’t need, what would you want him to do when you will pray for things that you need? You are praying for your jealousies, for your envies, for your covetousness. Should God grant you sin?

    If you need a gas cooker, pray for a gas cooker. Let the prayer be true, so that God can answer prayer. God enjoys answering payers. But if you need a nuclear reactor, if you need it, ask for it.

    If you need roofing sheets, ask for it.

    And if you are like some people that I know, and you want to start a bank and you need one hundred kilograms of gold as reserves, He is the Lord of Heavens and earth and under the earth. What is one hundred kilograms of gold? If you are asking for your own money in CFA and some people are asking for their own money in grams of gold, make sure that it is a need, not covetousness, not jealousy, not envy and not foolishness.

    For example, I am looking for one Tanguy bottle full of gold, so that I will carry it and knock the head of every Head of Department and say: Believe prophecies, believe prophecies. I want a cane, one Tanguy bottle full of gold, to knock the heads of all the Heads of Departments in Headquarters, and knock out unbelief, and knock out unbelief. One bottle can give us about ten kilos, and in the paper that you hold every day, they will call it 400 million.

    That is a good cane to knock out unbelief. Not so?

    Everybody should write a hundred personal prayer topics and we shall pray for them every day.

    Let this prayer crusade change your life.

    Let it change your ministry.

    Pray that, for the other leaders of the ministry who are leading the prayer crusade, God will grant them wisdom to lead the prayer so that it shall be light for the brethren.

    THE BURDEN OF THE FAST

    It is important that we should all fast for one goal. We can waste our fasting if we don’t have a goal. If you fast without a goal, you are not pleasing God. Fasting is for a goal. God does not enjoy seeing people looking hungry like Hindus. God’s joy is not that people should inflict suffering on themselves and flagellate themselves. Fasting is for a goal.

    Even giving is for a goal. It is the goal that makes the sacrifice noble. It is not the sacrifice in itself that God is looking for.

    Who has understood?

    So, make sure that even for your own self, there should be a goal for the fast, something you truly want, transformations that you truly want God to effect in you.

    Changes in your ministry and service and relationship with God that you really desire.

    We are not fasting to boast about fasting.

    And we are not fasting to be in the club of those who have done forty days fast.

    We are not fasting so that we may go to heaven.

    The door to heaven is open only to those who believe what Jesus has done for them; who receive eternal life from God, as a gift given by God.

    Have you understood?

    If you are fasting so that God should save you, please tell us, we will show you the way of salvation, the way of life, God’s love and forgiveness, so that you may be sure of eternal life.

    We are fasting:

    to cooperate with God for the coming of His Kingdom,

    for the triumph of the gospel,

    for the work of the Holy Spirit on men and on us,

    for the success of the work that He has given to us.

    We want God’s will to be done.

    We want the gospel to triumph.

    We want the power of God to be manifest.

    We want the works of the devil in us and in others to be destroyed.

    Fasting is for a goal.

    It is the goal that makes the fasting acceptable.

    It is not the suffering of fasting that pleases God.

    It is what we are asking from God that makes the fasting an acceptable sacrifice to God.

    Who has understood?

    So, that is why we are reading the letter over and over and over.

    So, hold your copy, sit up, read it along with us and may the Lord put a burden in your heart so that you fast along with us, and we fast together—for the same goal.

    Keep your copy, we will read it again tomorrow.

    Please thank God for something that touched you today, as one of the great works of God in our community, what God is doing.

    Today, I was encouraged, Patrice Nyamy and the brethren went to Germany, in Berlin, and they led twenty-five people to the Lord.

    Brother Jacques Yougang called me today and he told me that in Yaoundé, they are holding the crusade in twelve (12) places, and that at the mega church, they are praying eleven (11) hours. We have never had that one in Yaoundé.

    Please, our leaders are forming an organ of leadership, not an organ of direction; it is not a steering wheel, it is not mechanical... We are not doing semantics; we are communicating something that is a reality within our community, not something as a reality in Petit Larousse; [but] what it is as life in our ministry:

    It is an organ of leadership, a leadership organ.

    The goal that God gave us: to labour to preach the gospel to every nation in our generation, to all the ten billion people that are expected to live in our generation, in the power of the Holy Spirit and from lives that are holy, with the goal of bringing one billion out of those 250 nations to personally know our Lord Jesus through the revelation of the Holy Spirit and to surrender to Him their lives and their will so that He is their Lord.

    That goal, as we progress in pursuing that goal, as the numbers increase, the numbers are changing us.

    It is like in normal life, you have a young man, he grows up, he has a life. He marries, he founds a family, they spread and they may become a clan. They continue to grow and they may become a tribe. And if they spread and spread and spread, they may become a people. And if they organize themselves, they may become a nation. And if they grow strong as a nation and they annex territories and other peoples, they may become a kingdom. And if they become a strong kingdom and they are loyal to their king and they assimilate other nations and kingdoms, they may become an empire.

    So, from one man we may build a family that becomes a clan, that becomes a tribe, that becomes a people, that becomes a nation, that becomes a kingdom, that becomes an empire.

    So, you can go from one man and found a family, that can become a clan, a tribe, a people, a nation, a kingdom, and an empire.

    Spiritually, as we pursue our goal, and if we grow, both in numbers and in maintaining distinct characteristics of our community, then the ministry, as it is the case started with Brother Zach, a life. From that life, in his relationship with God, he developed a ministry. Ministry means what you can do for others through your relationship with God. Your ministry is not your title, it is what you can do and bring to others from your relationship with God. You don't need to tell us your ministry, we are the ones who are supposed to tell you your ministry. That is, what you produce in us when you meet us. What you're talking about are your dreams. Ministry means service. Your ministry is the service you render to us.

    We have so many of these big words that don't make sense. The word ‘ministry’ means service. Ministry is synonymous with service. Your ministry is the service you render. There are many things that can constitute ministry, just like being a mother.

    Can a person have multiple ministries?

    Answer

    When there is a ministry, the apostle Paul said to Timothy, Fulfill all the duties of your ministry. There are tasks attached to his ministry (2 Timothy 4:5b). When a ministry is still in its infancy, everything is done.

    So, our ministry started with a man, a life : ZACHARIAS TANEE FOMUM. As he built his relationship with God and served the Lord, he developed a ministry: The capacity to give men God in different ways. And that has become our ministry.

    That ministry produced a church and as he continued to grow, with many churches being produced, that which was a church became a work. A ‘work’ means churches in many places.

    In the Bible, when we talk about a work, we are talking about the enterprise of establishing churches in different places.

    Everybody in the work, as the work [our work] grows, all those in this work form a community. We registered our ministry when we were a community. That is why we talked about the CMFI.

    A life.

    A ministry.

    This ministry produced a church.

    The fact that we continued to spread the community endlessly made us a movement. And if this movement continues to pursue the goal and expand further and begins to be well organized, with the cohesion of distinct characteristics, that goal as it is pursued will form a spiritual nation.

    The goal that God has given us, as the numbers grows, these numbers change us. A man worked, he had a ministry, and with this ministry that he started in Yaoundé, he established the church in Yaoundé. When he started planting churches elsewhere [in Douala, Ngoandere, Bertoua, etc.], we had a work. A man produces a ministry. That church, when it spreads, becomes a work.

    And the work as a whole becomes a community. And this community, if it continues to be virile and to spread itself, becomes a movement. And if this movement is well coordinated and takes root, so that everyone who is part of this movement, wherever they are, has the same spiritual characteristics, we begin to become a spiritual nation.

    Pray that those who have not understood would understand.

    A life

    A ministry

    A work

    A community

    A movement (And even many movements: prayer, fasting, revival Etc.)

    A spiritual nation

    I wanted to explain what we wrote in the letter; the goal is beginning to make out of us a spiritual nation. We are not using the words to flatter ourselves; we are not using the words to pay homage to Zach Fomum; it is not a way of honoring brother Zach. It is where growth and the pursuit of the goal has brought us to. We are not using the words, becoming a spiritual nation as another way of flattering ourselves; it is what the pursuit of the goal that God gave us has brought us to and where it is taking us to.

    The goal that God gave us is making out of us a spiritual nation. And we are not calling it the ZTF spiritual nation because we love brother Zach, but because it started with him. It started with him.

    When I will be explaining tomorrow how to become a spiritual nation from the bible, you will understand. You need to understand because there are many people who like titles. When we start saying ‘ZTF Spiritual nation’, they will start thinking that it is a new way of calling ministries. So they will dream of the day when they will say Theodore Andoseh spiritual nation; it becomes another formula; another title. And those who hate us will hold unto that as a ground for accusing us of worshipping man—claiming that we are no longer hiding it. It is just a matter of where the goal is taking us to.

    When we shall be one billion, only China and India will compare with us.

    We are saying ‘spiritual nation’ and explaining what we mean so that if there are political spies among us, they will not say that this people are forming a revolution. We are talking about the growth of our work, because there are spies among us, and they may think that we have something else in our minds, a political agenda. We have no political agenda. We are talking about the growth of our work.

    Who has understood me?

    So, whether we are dealing with those who look at what we are saying through political eyes or we are dealing with those who are enemies and who hate everything about us; whether you hate us, whether you are a politician, we are talking what the goal that God gave us is making out of us. What the pursuit of the goal [making of us], where it is taking us to, in terms of growth, not in terms of ideology.

    And also, so that those of us who are super fanatics will not start dreaming of Charles Ntsama spiritual nation. No! It is too late for you. You don’t have time to become a spiritual nation because you were born already into one, you were even born at the level of a spiritual movement.

    I want people to understand that it's not just a matter of jargon, it's what the pursuit of the goal is doing to us. This goal that we always announce, as we pursue it, it changes us.

    If we begin to have common characteristics, we will begin to become a spiritual nation. If we say for example that all those of the CMFI seek God, [we are referring to the defining characteristics of our community]. For example, [it is said that] Cameroonians are talkers, Congolese are conceited, the Bassas are wicked, the Ewondos are proud, the Bamileke are independent, etc. There are characteristics of various tribes.

    The goal God has given us is forging us into a spiritual nation. It's starting, it has not yet gripped us. For example, there are many people who have not meditated today.

    The pursuit of the goal is changing us.

    Growth is changing us.

    The pursuit of God and the pursuit of the goal are the navigational coordinates of our community.

    The pursuit of God at the individual level, and the pursuit of the goal at the individual level; The pursuit of God at the corporate level and the pursuit of the goal at the corporate level, are our navigational coordinates, to get to what God wants of us.

    The pursuit of God and the pursuit of the goal are our navigational coordinates to be what God wants us to be.

    And as we pursue God, we are transformed.

    As collectively we pursue God, we will be transformed.

    And as we pursue our goal, we will be transformed.

    The pursuit of God will bring in the quality.

    The pursuit of the goal will bring in the quantity.

    The pursuit of God will bring in the quality, and the pursuit of the goal will bring us the quantity.

    By those coordinates, we intend to offer to God what He has asked of us: one billion disciples of Jesus who render to Him total obedience in everything.

    Over the years, the Lord has led us in the pursuit of God and the pursuit of the goal.

    In 2009, God was demanding from us to pursue God and pursue the goal by obedience to the call to Pentecost.

    When Brother Zach died, and we started again, the only thing that was clear to our community on how to move forward was to do everything possible to have Pentecost. Those who followed this are different today. Those who have found other concerns, who have found other priorities for our ministry outside of what God had prescribed for us are so different today.

    And every year, all I do is try to figure out what God expects of us in pursuit of the goal:

    For 2009, it was just a simple matter of uprooting idols and asking for a Pentecost that will produce a fivefold increase so that our ministry reaches 500,000 people. That was it. And over the years, the fasts of the ministry, like the one we are holding, I have crystallized what God wants for our community as vectors and media in the pursuit of the goal. So, if you take the letters of all the fasts since 2009, you're going to find only one thing.

    2010—2011—Pursuit of the Santa Cruz message.

    Until 2012, there was obedience for Pentecost, then there was the message of Santa Cruz.

    2014, I think it was that the Lord accompanies us with the signs, wonders and miracles as we obey.

    2016, It was that the fear of God would take hold on us while we were obeying.

    In 2017, the Lord brought us back to faith and faithfulness. Have faith!

    So gradually, every year, there is only one benchmark: to lead our community. That's for those who have an interest in reading where I am taking the community.

    If you want to know what I have done to lead our ministry, what I am doing, during this fast, it is with these two benchmarks: What does God expect of us? What are the felt needs in the pursuit of God? And what are the immediate vectors in the pursuit of the goal?

    God and the Goal! God and the Goal!

    As the apostle Paul said, I was not interested in anything else except Christ crucified. There is a lot of knowledge. The Lord Jesus told the Jews in John 8:26, He told them: I have a lot to say, to judge, but I pursue the goal. I'm just working on what God has told me.

    So many leaders want to correct everything. These are the dark points of discipleship, the fact that we think we can say everything about people's lives, manage everything, control everything. The Lord Jesus says: I have much to say, I even have much to judge. As in language, a diluted way of saying: ‘but I reserve myself to do as I want, because I want to tackle what my father told me to say. I am trying to say what he told me to say. I know you, I see but I don't say everything. I don't even have the freedom to say everything.’

    As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say. (John 12:47-50)

    The inner discipline of our Lord Jesus Christ. In our ministry, leadership has been transformed into something else. The Lord Jesus said: I believe the Father, it is He who works in men. If I teach and someone despises me, I pursue my goal. The Father did not send me to judge people, He sent me to save people. And I believe it.

    So, all this use of too much authority, hammering people, bombing people, is because people don't know what God wants. We are not free as we think. Spiritual leadership does not have all the prerogatives attributed to it.

    And if you want to know the rules of my leadership, I'm not free, I don't answer a lot of questions and I don't justify myself to many. I have not attained this inner discipline of the Lord Jesus. And what God expects from our ministry is to get people to pursue God and pursue the goal.

    And all the ways of handling the people that we have learned from our communities, from our families, you will be accountable to the One to whom the people belong. It's because we don't have a goal that we talk to everyone.

    This lack of respect for the people who are under our authority. Is it you who transforms others? Do you know how to change men? Even with our biological children, have you really succeeded in the way you raise children? Are your children walking in holiness? Who told you that you know how to do it for others? Even with the things God has brought into our lives to break us so that we are not too sure of ourselves, we do not learn.

    What I have pursued since Brother Zach left is the same as Brother Zach has pursued. God is free to take us into the wilderness as into Canaan.

    But the Lord Jesus says: wisdom is manifest by His works. Even John doubted the Lord by observing His works, but He walked according to God's Word.

    What are the benchmarks of leadership?

    The pursuit of God

    The pursuit of the goal.

    If you tackle these two, even at your worst, you're not going to fall far. If this is God's work, God will take us where He wants through the pursuit of God and the pursuit of the goal. If in addition to that you add relationships, hallelujah! If on top of that, you add hard work; hallelujah!

    For this fast, for the past three years, the Lord has been insisting that if we want to succeed, God does not give great things to individuals. He had to give Canaan and He said to Israel: If I give you the whole land while you are few, you will lose it.

    There are some things you'll never get if you're alone; and as the ministry grows, if we do not break individualism, we will miss out on the great things that God has promised. There are things that God does not give to individuals. There is even a growth that God does not give to individuals. There are even successes that God does not give to individuals. There is even an abundance, a prosperity that God does not give to individuals.

    Who understood me?

    Being singleton, being solitary, there is what you can touch, there is what you can have, but you cannot go very far.

    If you study the Bible, Caleb was ten times more qualified than Joshua, but he didn't have the same relationship with Moses. There are things that God gives in clusters, in community.

    The Pentecost of the early apostles was a collective experience. It was a people who had prayed together, whom God visited as a whole. This was the reason for Brother Zach's cry for the whole church in Yaoundé to pursue the goal, because there are things that God does not give to individuals.

    Even Maxwell says that the number 1 does not constitute greatness. There are things that only work with others, for example your teeth. There are things that God only gives to a close-knit, welded people.

    There are even understandings as in Ephesians 3:16-19—he says, ‘you, being rooted in Christ’; it is with others that you can grasp the extent of Christ's love.

    I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16-19)

    God's love is not something you experience individually. Christ is lived in community.

    We live the life of Christ in community.

    You can be rooted in Christ, you will draw life as the roots, but you have to be associated with others to touch the fullness. This is why Satan puts all his tools to break relationships in the church.

    All parts of application in the epistles of the apostle Paul are 90% about relationships in the church.

    ‘With others!’ Say, « Amen ! ».

    For the past three years, the Lord has wanted to give us great things, and one of those great things is the goal of Phase 3. The Lord told us during the world convention that He wants to accomplish the goal of Phase 3 quickly. If our ministry wants the 100 million for phase 3, we will proceed differently. All this search to make a name, a ministry, a label of the ministry, all this hyper individualism will slow us down.

    With others, to see. You can work so hard and not get the results you want. Where we are, we have arrived at the crossroads where God wants to give us great things, but one of the conditions for receiving them is that God does not give great things to people who are not able to make them profitable, to use them.

    Do as the Lord Jesus did: ‘I have much to say, to judge, but I believe God. He knows how He will accomplish what He wants. I'm working on my goal. I say what I Father told me to say. I will say it as he wants me to say it. If I add anger to what he told me to say, He will strike me.’

    If you add to what God wants, it is you that God will tackle because you ended up being a bearer of false witness. You will bring people to know God as the righteous judge, but you have not taught these people that He is also the tender Father.Let us stop appropriating God's people. Let's stop pretending we know. For this fast, the burden is the rapid accomplishment of the goal of Phase 3. But what God expects of us especially, and what God must produce through this fasting, is leaders who stand together to give God the opportunity to give them great things for this ministry.

    Where we are now, God has many big packages in heaven that He wants to give us. We want, through this fast, to cry out to God to produce an organ of ministry possessed by the Holy Spirit. It's just a way of saying, leaders who are 'ONE', who seek each other's success. And you don't look for the success of others as a mortgage for people to seek your success too. It is not a kind of putting others to the test.

    We are becoming a spiritual nation. We need to offer God something to which God can entrust a civil engineering fleet and which will be better organized than 'Labogénie', not the singletons who manage with old age syndromes, a cottage industry that practices the administration of the kitchen. We manage things from our pot.

    There are people you exclude and God will leave, because the God who called you also called them. The God who has been patient with you is also patient with him. People who seek to sabotage others, to supplant others, this is precisely what will exclude you. A parallel work to what someone else does, you're just an editor because you lack creativity. While God creates a constellation, you become just a satellite.

    This is the burden of this fast: May God give us the fulfilment of the goal of Phase 3 quickly by producing among us a fusional leadership that can receive from God His great things.

    Disloyalty now, individualism, betrayals, parallelisms and all these tendencies that there are between egos, everyone wants to show that he is the most Zach FOMUM of all of us, yes, do this in obedience to God in all things, but the obedience that God wants now is that you belong to all of us.

    The burden of this fast: God is about to give us great things. We are even becoming a spiritual nation and there are great things God wants to give us. And for that, God needs a welded body of leadership.

    And if you've tried to bring people together, you know that if God doesn't produce love in the heart, we're wasting time.

    That's why we fast.

    If we could produce it differently, we would do it. If I could take selfish ambitions out of people's hearts to make us richer by sharing, I would do it. If you seek greatness on your own, you will have no one. If you love, you will share your greatness with someone, like Jonathan. It was he who was the prince, he undressed out of love to put on another who was only a shepherd, a villager. This is what nobility looks like.

    Who understood the burden of this fast?

    Each time, there are punctual, urgent vectors in the pursuit of God and in the pursuit of the goal. And the current vector now is that we can accomplish more together. I am not a trade unionist, unity is strength. I want what God produces.

    I want a body, not the organization. I want hearts that love Jesus; I want hearts loyal to brother Zach; I want hearts to whom God has said: ‘this is your family.’ When there is the family, we are proud of what others have. When it's missing, you're not in it.

    Hallelujah!

    The burden of this fast is the rapid accomplishment of the goal of Phase 3, by offering God a leadership organ at every level.

    At the level of the local church: a body of pastors that pursue the goal to accomplish it.

    At the level of the local churches, a body of pastors, committed to the same goal—that is what we mean by an organ of leadership.

    At the level of the ministry here at the base, a body of ministry; what we call ‘Heads of Departments’. A body of ministry committed to the accomplishment of the goal.

    At the level of the work, on the field, a body of workers.

    And when the work has spread to the whole nation, a body of leaders.

    And as God raises leaders, a team around the leader or a body of co-workers. Comeans those who are working with another person by building in a relationship with him.
