Mated To The Bad Alpha I Hate - Eyitalent

    CHAPTER 161

Do you really have to go? I want to spend more time with you. Dylan whined as he held Mona closer to him. The both of them have been lazing out in bed, refusing to do anything the whole morning. However, Mona has to leave to do a quick check on Sansan.

Mona laughed heartily, why do you always have to act so childishly when it's time for me to leave your side?

That is the problem; you shouldn't leave my side. He grinned, kissing her neck.

Wiggling her way out of his hold, Mona adjusted her dress. I promise I will be back by evening. She said, kissing him lightly on the cheek, hurrying her way out.

Dylan smiled brightly as she walked away; he had never felt so much peace of mind as he did whenever he was with Mona. He felt grateful for listening to his wolf and Diane. If he had tried refusing the feelings, he wouldn't be this satisfied with his life.

Standing up, he stretched himself out lazily. Due to Sansan's ever-growing belly and the need for her to put her legs up every time, Mona had made it a point of duty to check up on her friend daily.

He couldn't complain since it made Foden happy that someone familiar would stay with his wife. Sansan's mother has a family to care for and can't spend much time around her daughter.

Gulping down the wine left in the bottle he had opened the night before, Dylan pulled the robe off to prepare himself for the day's work. Heading out of his chambers, he whistled delightfully to himself, feeling on top of the world.

Opening the door to the study, he wasn't surprised to find Foden seated. Did you get sent out of the house or something? Dylan teased as he made his way to his seat.

Foden yawned, you have no idea. Just keep away from me as much as you can.

Dylan laughed, it can't be that bad. Why are you acting all up?

How about you just wait till Mona gets pregnant? I'm sure you would have a lot to say by then.

A grin spread on his lips at the thought of Mona carrying his child, I will handle it; that is why I am the Alpha.

You bluff too much. I would gladly wait till then. You have a letter, though, and I am sure you would want to read through it yourself.

Dylan raised a suspecting brow, how are you so sure?

It's from the Dream pack, and I am sure you haven't heard from her in a while since you left three weeks ago, Foden replied.

I am surprised you keep to date that much. Dylan taunted.

I am not in the mood for your tantrums today, Dylan.

Laughing, Dylan picked up the letter. Opening up the envelope, he found two folded papers in it, and each had been labelled. He picked up the one labelled to be read first. Dylan smiled brightly at Diane's handwriting.

    ***

    "Dear Dylan,

I hope this letter finds you in the best of moods. I am just writing it from a happy state of mind. How is your relationship with Mona? I want to believe it's going strong as expected.

I know you would be curious about how your little nephew is doing. He is very fine and loves to suck on breast milk a whole lot. The theta says he would be a very healthy Alpha.

He is a month old now, and I couldn't wait to share his looks with you. Damien looks so much like you; you would be amazed at the sight.

His sketched image is enclosed in the letter. Take care of yourself, and don't forget to write me back.

    Love, Diane."

    ***

Dylan opened the drawing hurriedly. Tears formed in his eyes when he saw Damien's innocent eyes stare at him with a small smile aiding his round cheeks. Foden stared in amusement at his friend.

Why do you look so smitten? He asked.

Looking up from the book, Dylan smiled, handing Foden the drawing. I can't explain it; you would have to see for yourself.

Foden stared wide-eyed. He looks so beautiful. He mused.

I can't even imagine. Mona would love to see this. Dylan noted, is it true, he looks like me?

Foden squinted his eyes at the paper again, this little one looks nothing like you. He is far good-looking than you are.

    Scoffing, you are just pained.

Say what you like. I know it would be hard for you to accept the truth. Foden joked.

Dylan snatched back the drawing staring at it lovingly. Looking back on how far they have come, he felt at peace, knowing progression is all that is needed next except for Douglas, who still has to pay for Mark's death.

Foden sat up when he noticed the frown on Dylan's face. What is wrong?

He sighed, I just can't stop thinking of how much damage Douglas has done to us. I want to get my revenge on him.

Foden nodded, I know how you feel, but it would be advisable we wait for the right time.

When will be the right time?

You just have to be patient. We can't just put on attack armour all because we feel emotionally down. We won't act stupidly like Douglas.

Dylan sniffed. The pill might be hard to swallow, but Foden is right. As fearful as they find him, none of the packs can testify to him breaking the rules just because he can. Dylan tries hard to avoid being found wanting in that aspect.

Don't think about it for too long; it would only drain you. Let's stay happy and content with all we have right now. That sounds easier to do. Foden said.

He laughed, you always have the right words to say to everything.

Foden shrugged, it's why the goddess chose me to serve next to you.

Shaking his head, Dylan leaned further into the chair, throwing his head back. With a relieved sigh, he smiled, praying to the goddess that his happiness didn't get ruined or cut short.

    CHAPTER 162

Simone grinned widely to herself as she got off the carriage with her luggage. It had been quite a ride from the Darkmoon pack down to the Lycan pack, but none of it mattered anymore now that she was starting at Elaina's home.

It had been a long time since she saw her friend. Simone couldn't wait to see the look on Elaina's face when she sees her by the door. Inhaling deeply, Simone walked towards the house and knocked on the door.

Her breath hitched when she heard footsteps from behind and some incoherent jumble of words. A petite-looking girl opened the door. Simone could tell she was new. All of the maids in Elaina's home are familiar to Simone.

Good day to you, ma'am. Who do you seek? She inquired, observing Simone closely with her tiny eyes.

Tell the lady of the house, Elaina, that Simone is here. Simone hadn't finished introducing herself when an arm wrapped around her neck in delight, pushing the poor girl away from the doorway.

Simone! Elaina called out in excitement, embracing her friend tightly.

It depressed Elaina every time that all she could do was send letters to Simone. She has missed her so much, and the guilt of sending her to Diane has never really left Elaina. It made it hard for her to demand the letters be responded to.

Simone laughed into her embrace. I might disappear at this point if you keep holding on to me so tight. She said in a muffled tone.

Elaina gulped hard, eyes scanning Simone desperately, oh my, you look so relaxed. I am glad you are better now.

Her words stung Simone, knowing exactly what she meant by her words. Rather than give off any odd reaction, she smiled broadly. Well, I have Goomer to thank for that. He couldn't get over the thought of having his cousin around him.

Please come in; I can't wait to hear about your journey and everything else I must have missed, Elaina said.

Pulling her friend in, Elaina felt ecstatic. In every angle, Simone looked better, and she glowed a bit differently, something Elaina could sniff out a bit too easily. There was definitely a new person in Simone's life.

Gesturing for her to take a seat, one of the maids came to serve them some sweet grape wine fresh from the farm.

Simone smacked her lips after the first sip, this is very nice. How did you come by it?

Elaina grinned proudly, it's one of the things I intend to try my hands on. My garden grows surprisingly sweet grapes, and since it's so surplus, I thought to find a better way to preserve it.

You have outdone yourself this time, Simone commented sincerely. They kept mute for a few seconds, immersing themselves in the sweetness the wine had to offer. How are the Zeta and your children? She eventually broke the silence.

Cedric is doing just fine. The children are with my mother and their cousins for a few days.

It's so thoughtful of you to bring them together at such a young age. I wish I had met Goomer a bit earlier. However, it's worth it in the end.

That's enough talk about me. I am a bit jealous that you got to see Diane's son firsthand. Also, how was your stay at the dark moon pack? I must admit, you glow differently.

A blush crept up her cheeks, what are you trying to say?

Happy that she had hit on a sensitive spot. Who is the new man?

Simone dared to fake a gasp, why would you even think there is a new man?

Elaina shrugged, your wolf appears relaxed and happy. Don't forget it's a gift for me. I can clearly see through you that there is someone who makes you feel whole again.

I don't think I want to discuss it much for now. There is no certainty of what might become of the both of us yet. And now that I am back here at the pack, it might take a toll on the said relationship.

That doesn't mean it wouldn't work out. You need to be as positive as you can be.

I am, and it's why I feel a bit contented. She grinned, lifting the fluke in her hand to her lips. I will tell you all about him when the time is right.

I respect your opinion. All I care about is you being happy because you truly deserve it. Elaina smiled widely. Would you be staying here?

Simone rolled her eyes playfully, stop being so careful around me with your words. I know why you are acting the way you do. But I assure you I am fine, and it gets better from here.

I am happy you are truly fine. It's such a delight seeing you again, back to the old Simone. You have always been a light to our distressed hearts.

Smiling lightly, Simone hummed to herself. There was nothing like the old her coming back to life. Instead, she has resolved to become a totally different and new person.

Before I forget, Elaina. I didn't get to thank you properly for everything you did for me. Harbouring me when it seemed like the worst thing to do. Trying your best to ensure I get better and still taking time to worry about me, despite being saddled with the burden of your family. Thank you so much.

Elaina sighed, you are my blood sister from a different mother, Simone. You matter to me, and I will keep doing everything I can to ensure you have a good life.

She sniffed up a tear, this is what you always do. Making someone as big as me cry.

That was the intention at first. Elaina laughed, pausing a bit with a serious look on her face. What do you intend to do now?

Clearing her throat, Simone shifted to the edge of the chair. This might sound absurd, but I would like to work in the packhouse kitchen.

Why would you want to do that? I thought you were over him?

Stop being so ridiculous. I only want to get busy and not have to sit at home doing nothing.

Elaina thought for a brief moment, how about you return to baking? Mark is no more, and you make the best bread and muffins I have ever tasted. You can supply the packhouse that way.

A torch lit up in Simone's head; she had never thought of her way into the packhouse in the way. She had been worried about getting Dylan to let her into the packhouse with the belief that she wouldn't do anything crazy. Standing up from her seat, she pulled Elaina closely into her embrace.

Thank you so much for this. It means a whole lot to me. She muttered sincerely.

    CHAPTER 163

Throwing his head to the back, Dylan inhaled deeply and exhaled. He felt tired from having to be in a long hour meeting with the pack council, discussing ways they could improve the pack's economic state and strengthen their military. The pack at the moment is doing really well as it stands.

However, Dylan likes to be very proficient with every plan he makes. And that includes trying to counter any unforeseen circumstances that might come up. He has been feeling restless and has no idea what was eating him up.

He rubbed at his forehead; Mona hadn't been around for two days. Due to the intensity of the workload at the packhouse, which includes Foden's involvement, Mona volunteered to stay with Sansan for some days. As much as he loves his friend, Dylan would have preferred to let Foden go and allow Mona to return to him.

His dick pushed through his trousers at the thought of her, causing him to chuckle. He was becoming more obsessed with the thought of having Mona around. She has become a huge part of him, and he wants nothing more than to be with her for as long as time allows.

A knock came from behind the door, and a guard let himself in, bowing to him. Good afternoon, Alpha.

Dylan nodded his head distractedly. Yes?

Miss Simone is here to see you.

Hearing Simone's name being mentioned had Dylan sit up. He had thought she was still at her cousin's place. Now that she was here, he couldn't ignore her presence.

    Let her in. He said.

When his eyes met hers, it had him really surprised. Simone looked different and more pleasing to the eyes. For the first time in a while since he has been dragged for being a part of Simone's misery, Dylan feels relaxed and a bit comfortable in her presence.

Good day, Alpha. She bowed lightly.

Dylan held up a smile, how are you, Simone? It's nice to see you again.

Simone held up a tight smile, her mind reeling at his sight. She did a good job hiding the emotions boiling through her insides. Her wolf shifted uncomfortably, trying to make its way to the surface. Despite the steamy sex she has had with Douglas in the past few days, Simone could feel her thighs burn at the sight of Dylan. No matter how hard she tries, she can't seem to get over him.

I am fine, thank you, Alpha.

A snort escaped Dylan's lips. we are friends, Simone. Call me by my name and stop with the abrupt disrespect.

Acting shy, she sat down. I would take note of that.

Have you returned to the pack, or do you still intend to go back? He asked, trying to make up a light conversation.

I am back to the pack now. It's been a long time since I left. Actually, I am here to see you for a reason.

    What would that be?

I don't know if this sounds appropriate, but I would like to make use of late Mark's shop to bake, knowing he was the packhouse supplier for bread and other pastries. I want to take his place. She said.

Dylan kept mute for a while. It had been a while since he had discussed Mark. He would have wanted his memory to be kept alive after how much he had sacrificed for the pack.

That wouldn't be a problem. I didn't know you bake. He said

Simone giggled, I wouldn't expect you to know since we never talk about things like that.

He chuckled awkwardly, I do understand that. It's nice to have you back. You can discuss with those in the kitchen. They would let you know how and when to bring it to them.

Thanks so much for this, Dylan. I would ensure to bring you some bakes to taste..

    Would appreciate it. He mused.

I will take my leave now. Bowing her head, she left the study with her shoulders squared.

Simone felt victorious. Douglas would be really proud of her for doing great on her first attempt. Dylan would never know what was coming for him. She would definitely let him have a taste of his own dish. In her thoughts, she didn't look up and bumped into a hard chest.

So sorry. She mumbled, trying to stand still.

Foden took a step back, holding the lady to keep her from falling. Pardon me, please. My mind wasn't in place. He said, looking surprised when it turned out to be Simone.

    Hello, Beta.

How are you, Simone? He asked.

Very well, thank you. See you later, Beta. She said, moving aside.

It's nice to see you again, Foden mumbled, walking away. He had several thoughts in mind, including teasing Dylan about his old flame returning. The moment he entered the study, Dylan could read the look on his face.

Think before you say anything, Dylan warned.

Foden clicked his tongue, I don't need to think too far. I just saw Simone now, and I must say, she looks breathtaking.

I hope you know walls have ears, and Sansan would definitely hear you. Dylan gritted at him.

Don't try to sound so saucy. I am glad she is back to her normal self. Why did she come around? He asked, sitting down.

She intends to take Mark's place.

    As a spy? He blurted.

Staring at his friend like he had lost his mind, Dylan kissed his teeth. Can you act reasonably, please?

It's a simple question. Late Mark was a spy; I don't know what else he does.

Foden, I want to believe that is a joke. But, Simone would take charge of Mark's bakery shop and supply the packhouse with her products.

Hmmn, it never occurred to me that she could bake.

"Well, now you do. And I am
