Introduction: Creativity Club
In many schools, there are clubs that teach things like:
Chess
Inventing
Science
Creativity
These are clubs that are meant to explore a game, to teach kids inventing, and to arouse interest in science.
They are groups that introduce these things to kids.
Kids will learn to play chess, to learn science, and to engage in creativity.
Kids can learn such things as:
creative writing
writing a screenplay
doing crafts
inventing
making an invention
robotics
learning art
making paintings
decorating
folding paper
foreign arts
cooking and cuisine
pottery
drawing
metalwork
It is a fun time after school to introduce creative activities and to get people to be inventive.
Creativity clubs can be organized after school.
Here a teacher will serve as the organizer.
He will recruit students, teach students, and run the club doing creative activities.
Other activities in such clubs are:
speakers
field trips
videos
contests
fairs
Generally they are fun groups to teach creativity.
In this book, we will explore how to organize such a club and to teach inventing and creativity.
—————-Introductory Essays
In this chapter, we will explore essays on creativity and other qualities.
The Creative Life
In the world today, many people make their living cooking meals, going to work at jobs they hate, and getting up to do things they wish they didn’t have to do. For many, the tasks of paying rent, of acquiring food, of taking care of family, and taking care of self consume the lives of millions. It is a routine that absorbs the life of countless people through many ages and kinds of society. Unfortunately, it is a kind of life that is the destiny of millions and this prevents many from finding a life they can be happy with.
There are however people who make their way through life doing things most do not. They live their lives doing creative acts and being creative people. They work in such occupations like writing, composing music, painting, sculpting, designing rooms or clothes, or making works of art or literature in some way. They have made careers doing creative acts and having fun at it. Living a creative life can be a rewarding activity. It can lead to a life of fulfillment, as a means to escape dull routines, and a way to avoid depressing kinds of occupation. A creative life is not for everyone, but it is for the adventurous soul who wants something else to do and the desire to be somebody else as well.
Creative peoples are active worldwide. They work in Hollywood making movies. They write music so major singers can perform it. They make paintings to put into museums all over the world. Creative peoples live in their own communities, artist colonies, and retreats where they can think freely and explore their inner selves. Here, creative peoples can find the freedom to let their genius flower. Without freedom, their genius most likely could not flower and enrich the world with works of art and literature.
Do you like to imagine stories of lovers or heroes off to save the world? Do you like to paint, sculpt, mold clay, or doing artistic pastimes? Do you have a great idea for a board game or video game? If so, then perhaps a creative life is for you. Perhaps then you should take upon yourself a dream. The dream being to make your idea come to life. This can inspire you to follow your dream, to pursue it, to make it become a reality, and to make something out of life for it. Dreams are what you have to inspire you to do something, to make something of yourself, to follow a path to a goal you do not have.
Do you want to live a creative life? Do you work at a job you do not want? Do you live a life that you want to escape or change in some way? If the answer is yes, then this book is for you. If the answer is no, then please put it down and go no further with it. It is not for you. This work is for people who want a change and perhaps need a change. They work at careers they despise and want something else to do. This book is for the career changer, the life explorer, the person who is now just opening his or her mind to a larger world, who wants to know oneself in different ways and is not afraid to try something new. This book is for the person who wants something else, to do something new, and perhaps be somebody else.
A person has only one life. It begins as a baby and ends in a coffin. The journey one travels is based on decisions, both good and bad, both advantageous and disadvantageous. Choices make destiny. Good ones will give you a good life. Bad ones will do the opposite. What choice will you make?
