    Confessions of a Majestic-12 Adventurer-Explorer-Researcher - Tim Voigt

For ufologists, for all who are curious into the epic legend/story called Majestic-12.

    Epigraph page:

'The UFO enigma would spawn an enigma that makes for classic science fiction.  Somehow in myth and dream, an alien spaceship would crash near Roswell, New Mexico.  It would get captured by the US government and inspire the creation of a topic secret panel.  This panel would study the spaceship, take it apart, reverse engineer it, and attempt to understand why an alien spaceship was here on planet Earth.  This panel would itself spawn a fascination into UFOs bordering on passion, obsession, and an exploration into fantasy.  Here science and science fiction blur, each becoming the other, each somehow intruding on each other, somehow a dream of scifi would become reality, leaving readers wondering if any of this was reality.'  -talk on UFOs

'Science fiction would spawn many franchises like Star Trek and Buck Rogers.  Science fiction for the most part does not happen because it cannot happen.  However there are sagas where reality is stranger than fiction and surprisingly some thing can be real after all.'  -talk on science fiction

    Dedication:

UFOs or unidentified flying objects have long been a controversial issue in science.  It refers to seeing things in the sky that Man cannot explain.  They have been investigated, sensationalized, trivialized, and regarded with awe to ridicule.  The study of its collective issues is known as ufology or UFO research.  Today ufology is a controversial subject in that it is regarded as a pseudoscience, yet it is also a science of its own.

In the lore of UFOs, a mystery would arise unlike any other.  In UFO lore and fantasy, something fell to Earth on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.  It would be explained away as anything like a Nazi rocket, a weather balloon, and more outlandishly an alien spaceship.  Research into this suggests that it seems like a balloon or Nazi rocket.  Prior to 1947, World War 2 would end with the defeat of Nazi Germany.  Its known allies would capture Nazi rocket scientists and missiles and transport them to the US.  US military authorities would experiment with rockets and its thought a test version of one would go astray and crash on a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico, somehow inspiring this story.  While this is a plausible scenario to the 'Roswell crash story', another 'explanation' would also arise.  A science fiction fantasy dream story would arise that this was an 'alien spaceship'.  Somehow it originated from an 'unknown space power', it would be on a 'mission' to planet Earth, but tragedy would befall its 'crew'.  They would crash on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico.  They would get discovered, captured, and transported to a US government military base.  Its 'saga' would inspire the creation of a top secret government project called 'Majestic-12'.  This project's governing panel dubbed 'MJ-12' would study the craft, explore its secrets, and keep this saga secret from the American public and the world.  It would inspire a sub-topic in UFO research and lore, among its most fascinating topics and paths of investigation.  Overall this book is a review of one ufologist's exploration into this, one of UFO research's most fascinating stories.

Overall this book is dedicated to all who specialize in 'Majestic-12 Research', a specialty in UFO Research.

Science fiction is about seeing beyond science, discussing what is not science what science could be.'    -talk on writing

    ––––––––

At the present rate of progress, it is almost impossible to imagine any technical feat that cannot be achieved – if it can be achieved at all – within the next hundred years."                    -Arthur C. Clarke (author of 2001: A Space Odyssey)

    Outline:

Ufology is an abstract, unusual, and highly controversial topic.  It concerns the study of mysterious things in the sky called 'unidentified flying objects' or UFOs.  UFOs have been seen for ages.  Generally they were seen by superstitious people and were in reality misinterpretations of natural things like comets, birds, planets, meteors, and related things.  Over time as a more scientific age appeared, people would reexamine ancient UFO sightings and interpret them truly for what they were.  However some reports of UFOs would defy 'explanation' and remain unsolved as UFOs.  Today UFOs are reported to be seen and most are explained away as something 'usual'.  Today ufology embraces a vast amount of subjects ranging from ancient astronauts to crop circles.  Its stories tend to be dubious of reality, fabrications, distortions, and suspect of account.  However despite this researchers have tried to define and refine ufology as a modern science.

Ufology would inspire many sub-mysteries each inspiring their own sub-specialty of research.  One such investigation subject is called Majestic-12.  In the wake of the Roswell story of 1947, a legend would appear of a top secret panel into researching it allegedly it being an 'alien spaceship'.  A top secret panel would be convened by presidential order to study this craft, explore its secrets, and also to report back to the president their findings.  Its panel itself would become one of UFO lore's most epic fantasy stories inspiring investigations, conventions, lectures, books, and episodes discussing overall the 'science fiction dream of it all'.  Here in this book, your author would spend 30 years investigating the saga of Majestic-12, attempting to sift truth from distortion, heresay, lie, sensationalism, and fabrication.  I would compile a long list of adventures, anecdotes, episodes, and 'bites' of my explorations into this fascinating mystery in UFO lore.  Here in this book, I want to share with you my collected adventures as well as a discussion on the Majestic-12 mystery as well.  I hope you enjoy this book and my stories.  Please enjoy the read.  Thank you.

Science is about understanding Nature better than superstition.  People of science see the world through effects, natural laws, equations, order, and phenomena.  People of superstition see the world as actions of spirits, magic, the gods, demons, angels, and myths.  Human history has known both kinds of people, but it is known people of science understand the world better than people of superstition. -science talk

"The sky is filled with so much, Man just does not understand what is there.' -talk on UFOs

    Introduction:  Ufology

For ages people have reported seeing something in the sky they could not explain.  It refers to seeing objects that seem artificial, are powered by something unknown, seem close to being like spaceships, and more.

To the ancients anything in the sky was something supernatural or divine.  Thus they worshiped the Sun, stars, planets, aurora, lightning, comets, and such as gods, a manifestation of the gods or God, or something related.  Beliefs like this would persist for ages in time enshrining themselves in astrology, the occult, archaeoastronomy, creation myths, and more.

In the modern age, things in the sky would be classified as something astronomical, physical, or at least comprehensible to people.  Thus things in the sky lost their connotations with the divine or supernatural.  In time people would see the sky in scientific ways, disdaining the occult notions of ancestors.

In the 20th century people would claim to see objects in the sky that were not astronomical, physical, human, or otherwise.  They would claim tales of something else that could not be explained and thus such dramas were called 'UFO' or unidentified flying object.

A science would arise to study all things UFO and this is called ufology.  It would embrace a whole series of mysteries like:

    ancient astronauts

    alien abductions

    the government UFO coverup

    Majestic 12

    crop circles

    UFO religion

    contactees

    UFO crash stories

    Entity cases

Physical trace cases, and much more.

Many of these mysteries would make startling claims that aliens were on Earth causing these 'dramas'.  Many would investigate the stories and conclude nothing alien was there or at least nothing alien was proveable.  Today UFO stories routinely involve alien discussion, but nothing alien has been proven.

Ufology would grow up as a subject studying all things UFO.  However ufology would strangely never solve any mystery, in time explaining all things as manmade or something natural.  Ufology would grow into a collection of sensational, absurd, and fantastic stories of aliens somehow on Earth somehow inspiring the many UFO mysteries.

Ufology would attract all manner of person from scientist to businessman to fanatic.  It would be invaded by all manner of person claiming some outlandish story, trying to sell merchandise, or trying to advance some theory of some kind.  In all ufology was intended to become a serious science on par with physics and chemistry, but instead it has become something of a pseudoscience and research activity for just about anyone.

'The UFO would take its place with the dragon and wizard of fantasy.  It would be crafted into a thing of fantasy all its own.  On board is a crew of aliens out for adventure of some kind, going places, getting into whatever trouble they want to be in.'    -talk on science fiction

"Man has let dreams cloud his sight, he cannot divorce dream from reality.' -talk on UFOs

    ——Introductory Comments:

In 1947 something would happen to startle the world into the issue of UFOs.  Two events would occur that would make this subject be something extraordinary to study and discuss.

A pilot named Kenneth Arnold would fly his airplane and report seeing objects he called 'flying discs'.  Reporters would pick up and sensationalize this as 'flying saucers'.  Since then all manner of fad would break out manifesting as science fiction movies, conventions, books, and outlandish claims something alien was here on planet Earth.  Since then flying saucers would be called UFOs, this would inspire the creation of a science, ufology.

Another drama would take place.  Something fell to Earth in 1947 on a ranch near the town of Roswell, New Mexico.  At first it would be called a flying disc, but then it would be changed to claims of a weather balloon.  Military authorities would descend on it, cart it all off, and cover it all up as a weather balloon.  Since then it would inspire a fad in books, conventions, theories, sub-mysteries, suspect interviews, and much more.  Fantasy would distort it and sensationalize it into anything like a Nazi rocket, a top secret airplane, anything, and also an alien spaceship as well.

Roswell as it is now called would inspire another mystery.  Allegedly a story would surface that it was an alien spaceship.  It was here on a mission to planet Earth from an alien civilization.  Tragedy befell it, it crashed, and its remnants would be captured by military authorities.  It would become known to then US president Harry Truman.  He would secretly order the founding of a panel answerable to him.  Its task would be to study it, research it, dissect it, comment on it, and report to Truman just what it was.  This panel would gain the name of 'Majestic-12' also called MJ-12.  MJ-12 as an enigma would appear with the suspect release of the so-called 'Majestic-12 documents' in the 1980s.  They allege they were top secret government documents discussing the saga of MJ-12, agents within the government would steal the documents and then leak them to the press.  It would ignite a continuing fad into these documents and the alleged saga they tell.  It is quite possible and it has been claimed that these documents are hoaxes, which they could very well be.  It is not known for now if these documents are truth or lie, though it is believed to be lie.  Despite all this, UFO researchers would arise to study the documents, to comment on their authenticity, and also to explore its implications.  All this would inspire the UFO research domain of Majestic-12 Research.  It continues on being researched and discussed, exploring new avenues of mystery and intrigue.  In this book, we will explore this sub-specialty in UFO research more closely.

Your author would gain exposure to the enigma of the Majestic-12 saga in the 1980s.  I would study this enigma for the last 30 years as a UFO investigator, commentator, writer, and explorer-adventurer in MJ-12.  Over the years I would compile a long list of stories, adventures, anecdotes, and episodes.  I want to share them with
